I never leave negative reviews because I understand mistakes happen, but this experience was beyond…read moreunacceptable. I went in to get my nails done for my birthday. My usual nail technician, Nancy, who is amazing, was on vacation, so I was assigned to someone else. It was the worst nail experience I've ever had. Every single nail is a different shade of red because she kept dipping random nails into different powders. She got super glue all over my fingers, and even her gloves were sticking to my skin and nails from the mess. At one point, she actually dozed off and burned me with the drill bit. I immediately said, "Oh my gosh, you just fell asleep!" I repeatedly asked--at least five or six times--to have someone else finish my nails, but my requests were ignored. Instead of making things right, I was forced to sit there for nearly two hours while my nails got worse. I walked out crying on my birthday. The quality of the work was awful, but what made it even worse was the complete lack of customer service. When a customer is clearly unhappy and asking for another technician, the salon should listen instead of refusing. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on how I was treated.

Tried this nail salon on a whim for the first time since I was in the shopping center. Walked in…read moreand was instantly sat. Got served a drink and started on my nails. It didnt take long at all. I got a basic french tip and square shape just to see how they do the basics. Price was a little high but not too bad. I enjoyed the set and it lasted about a month. Im hard on my nails though so probably couldve lasted longer if I wasnt lol.

I live in Carrollton but I go to Kalos and Muse for my nail services in Richardson…read more My son needed a pedicure so I decided to come here and on their menu there were kids mani/pedi $25 and there was not an option to choose pedicure only so I marked that on my slip. The front desk confirmed and repeated aloud kid mani/pedi. So imagine my surprise when I went to pay and was billed for a classic mani and pedi $48. So i asked what age do they consider kids, she stated up to 10. She then guided me to the bottom right corner of the menu that stated this. Completely fine, however as someone who heads an employee and customer experience department, the customer support and fraudulent switching of the service without my acknowledgment is why I am giving them a 1 star. I'm fine to pay whatever the service costs but it is bad business to have a customer fill out a slip selecting the service they want, confirm with them, and then switch the service at checkout. How much effort could it have been to advise me that my 12yo couldn't receive the kid mani/pedi? I would have selected a classic pedi for him only. It's truly the small efforts of basic customer support and honest business that will take businesses a long way. I hope they read this, coach their employees and do better.

I call ahead. Told to wait 15-20 min. Arrive in 25. The lady looks at me and says "I thought you…read moreweren't going to come." In front of the entire nail alone. I ask, "Why would you think that?" And then she just has like a little weird giggle and brushes me off. I'm only 5 minutes off and it's not like had an actual appointment scheduled. They were still in the middle (not starting) servicing someone when I arrived, so it wouldn't even have mattered. I would've still had to wait. I'm sitting down, and the lady tells me the guy will start on me after a customer already there requests a manicure add on service all while I'm already waiting and it's only 2 in there. Which means they both will be occupied on him. I'm sitting at the pedicure bowl, and it's DIRTY inside and she's wondering why my legs were not propped up oh the foot rest. Even THAT WAS DIRTY!! She just rinses it out with water. :/ Residue is still inside. So no they don't use linings!! The guy is literally trying to go back and forth between me and the client getting services NOT A HAND WASHED, NOR SANITIZED, NO GLOVES!! I asked could he at least sanitize his hands or something before touching me again. He goes to wash his hands a the lady told him to just stay working on the client already there. Mind you I need a soak off hands and feet on top of a service. The drill bit he was about to use to take my gel off also looked VERY USED!! They basically wanted me to sit and wait for them to finish the guy, they close in 30 minutes. At this point I had already been there 15-20 minutes myself. Didn't offer me anything to drink even though they were sitting right there. I just decided to not get serviced and leave! Very unsanitary. Also the bin that the blue towels you dry your hands off with, also had trash in it! Idk what they got going on in there. Lastly, whenever the lady walked over to me to look at my nails, she had the same gloves on that. She was using to do the pedicure, touch my hands to see that I polish on there, and then literally sat back down to go work on the man's feet again. I'm a licensed Esthi/cosmo myself, so I know we ALLL should know proper infection control. Never again. I wish I would've taken photos of the dirty bowls
