Waiting area for mammo
Michelle W.

I came in for my annual exam as it has been over 6 yrs since my last. I know I know! So I scheduled an appt for the works. When I arrived the MA asked me what I was here for? I said a routine physical. She had me get undressed from waist down for a pap. I said to her is the doctor not going to do a breast exam? She said oh, you wanted one of those? I was like yes, you guys have been sending me emails about my physical and that is why I am here in addition to my insurance changing soon. She said ok I will "ask" the doctor if she will do the exam. So from there I was already like here we go again! Doctor came in, listened to my heart and breathing, then proceeded to do my breast exam then my pap. Keep in mind I've worked the medical field for over 16 years specific to obstetrics and gynecology so I extremely familiar with what is standard care. This was the first pap actually second with this doctor where she did NOT do a pelvic exam to feel your ovaries and uterus. I think this is standard when getting a pap, at least all the other doctors I've worked for do this. This was not done and it definitely was not a physical. Ive had mixed feelings about my visits at Kaiser (pcp and my past gyn doctor that I filed a grievance on) so I already come in with high expectations and my guard up. I mean, we pay an arm and a leg for insurance so that in itself makes it a requirement not a expectation. After that I got blood work done, the lady there was super friendly and nice. While I was there I broke down for the first time in my life and got a mammogram. Let me say the ladies in the mammogram department were awesome!!! From check in to my actual service. I did not have an appt and I was in the back 10 mins after I checked in. The lady who did my mammogram she was amazing!! Bed side manners, she was so friendly walking me through what she was doing. Made me feel at ease and confident in her. Anyhoo I'm definitely eager to find a new PCP one who likes to build relationships with their patients on a professional level. One who really cares about ALL your concerns. If anyone out there can recommend one in SoCal pls do. Thanks a bunch!

This is what you might get when you have Kaiser do your COVID test. Uncontrollable bleeding in your nose. Obviously wasn't done correctly!
Angel G.

Once again Kaiser proves themselves to me and my family just how incompetent they are. My 22 yo daughter went for a drive- up COVID test this morning. When the obviously inexperienced tech probed her nostril with the wrong end of the swab (the cardboard end) she began squirting blood from her nose, and had to rush to ER. Where she sat in a room with the same bloody tissue for thirty minutes. doctor came in and asked if any one had been in to give her fresh tissue or check on her, and was very upset to find out nobody had bothered. She was hemorrhaging from what should be a simple nose swab. And no, she does not have a bleeding disorder. She has been COVID tested elsewhere in the past and did not have any issues at all.

Holding my own iv because they said they "couldn't provide me with an iv rack"
Raven b.

I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN NOT EVEN IF IM DYING! Not only did the Er doctors tell me everything I have been going to the doctors for getting treatments and surgery was a "lie" he sent me home with a painkiller and said "get my story straight" when I have MEDICAL RECORDS TO PROVE MYSELF, and SCARS. Also the nurses do not know what they are doing not only did she poke with with the iv and let blood spill out of my arm while she found tubes to take blood in, she also put latex bandages on me when I told her right before I was allergic to latex and I had a "Allergy" bracelet on. I also had to hold my own IV bag during an ultrasound and walking the hallways. This hospital should not even be rated one star.

Nearly empty waiting room. This is a SHAM
Michelle L.

The horrible care, hiding behind covid to take our family members alone to be abused and neglected is CRIMINAL. This place is nearly empty and they are TYRANTS. This is all about money, acting like they're so busy and it's NOT at all. How dare they take our premiums every month and we aren't seen by MD's only INTERNS. I am done with this corporation that puts profits way above their patients. Stay FAR AWAY from here and seek out medical attention elsewhere and DEMAND to keep close to your family members, with no eyes on them they take shortcuts!!!

Disappointing experience with security at Kaiser Permanente Riverside…read more On September 8, 2026, around 1:30 a.m., I went to Kaiser Permanente Riverside to pick up my medication. I had just come from the gym and realized I didn't have a mask, so I politely asked security if I could get one. Robin G., a security guard with Blackstone Consultants, told me the masks were inside the emergency room. I understood having to empty my pockets, but I was surprised when he specifically asked whether I was carrying a knife. I explained that I wanted a mask because I was traveling to Europe soon and didn't want to get sick before my trip. He responded that I would probably get sick in Europe anyway and bring it back to the United States. I found that comment dismissive and unnecessary, especially in a medical setting. When I later approached him politely to ask why he had said that, I explained that I felt judged based on my appearance. I also told him about my traumatic ICU hospitalization during COVID, when I developed a blood clot and spent about a month in the hospital. I still take blood thinners, and wearing a mask in medical facilities is something I continue to do because of that experience. When I explained how shaken I was, he responded that he didn't know I was "so sensitive." That made the situation even more upsetting. I was not asking for special treatment. I was asking for a mask and basic respect. I understand that security protocols are necessary, but they should be applied consistently and professionally. I do want to recognize Josue, the supervisor who spoke with me. He listened respectfully, apologized for the experience, and treated me with the kindness and professionalism I would expect in a medical setting. I truly appreciate him. I hope Kaiser reviews this incident and ensures that patients are treated with dignity and respect. I still believe Kaiser is a great institution, but experiences like this should not be overlooked. Josue, thank you for your professionalism and for taking the time to listen.

Dr Mishra greeted me and assured me he'd send the results to my PCP after he performed my colonoscopy. My colonoscopy very well and I was informed. my colon looked great! I woke up with no drowsiness, pain or discomfort. I was given pictures of my colon to take home with post care instructions. The Center did a follow-up call today 10/28/26 to check on me.
