I'm a repeat customer of Kaiser's Body Shop and I'm always amazed as to how professional, courteous and friendly Steve and the entire staff are. The work done on my truck, not only is extremely well done, but they are proud and caring about their workmanship. They truly want you to be happy with the finished product...and there is NO way you wouldn't be. They also find the most reasonable/cost effective way to service your vehicle. I highly recommend Kaiser's---they go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Thank you...you guys are the best!! Mary K. read more

This Shop is absolutely fantastic. I could go on for ever on how great their service is. I have brought my vehicle over for both minor and major body work. Each time, my car comes out like it is brand new. To me it even looks better! The employees are great. They are willing to work with you on anything. If you want anything done or taken care of, they will handle all of it. Both of my repairs were due to accidents and I never had to worry about a thing. Everything always looks and functions perfectly. No issues at all in regards to how the new parts look in relation to the rest of the car. I can get very attached to my car and I am always a bit nervous taking it anywhere Hopefully, I will not need any more repairs but if I do I will be back. If anyone I know needs repairs, I will tell them to go here. read more

Kaiser Body Shop - Body Shops Near Me - Latham, New York

Was told 3 days to fix the car. So dropped it off on Monday. Until Friday morning nobody called so I called and heard that they are talking to the insurance company for more money and will be taken care by Tuesday or Wed. I said fine.Again I got a call and they wanted my claim number and insurance company number. Doesn't match up. So until I see my car back I can't trust.... read more

Great people to deal with. They took the stress right out of the situation of being in an accident, and got my car completed in less than a week. Friendly staff, excellent job done on the car, great experience all around. I highly recommend them! read more

This was the easiest experience that I have ever had. Steve was my point of contact, and I have never spoken to a more personable and helpful person in a body shop. You immediately feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Steve worked with me to figure out how to get the work my car needed without writing an astronomical bill like some dealerships. He also offered to keep in contact with me for any questions or concerns about my repairs. I had another issue that I had to bring to my dealership, and he continued to help me even after I left the shop. He went above and beyond! I walked away feeling great, and I can't say that about any other body shop experience. Kaiser is definitely my new body shop! read more

Amazing service! Really nice staff and quick work. I came in for some minor work and they finished it up in about an hour.

I have always loved the car business, except when it comes to body shops. I recently brought a 2013 Prius plug in to the Toyota dealer to have a right parking light housing replaced. I was told that because the car was a plug in hybrid, it would cost $425 before tax!!!! I then would go to Kaiser and Steve Cioppa quoted me $175 if the bumper did not have to come off and $275 if it did. I was elated. When I brought the car in I was charged $151.00. I saved $274.00!!!! AND..... the work was done in 40 minutes! Aside from the great price, the shop is impeccably clean and staff very friendly! They offered me coffee and a bagel, too! A clean body shop with friendly staff, that does great work, is reasonably priced, and honest! Amazing! My advice, avoid the dealers and go see Steve. You will be happy you did! read more

My second experience with this shop and each time was a pleasure. Steve was wonderful explaining everything that would be done. He was able to get the job done in only two full days and I had my car back. Highly recommend this shop. Very easy to work with and fair and competitive pricing. The entire car was cleaned each time I brought it and even little touch ups that weren't part of the job. Thanks, for great work. read more

The easiest experience I've ever had with a vehicle. Had to bring my car in for repairs after hitting a deer. Steve took care of everything and kept me up to date- they even had my car done a day earlier than originally expected. I've found my new body shop and will absolutely recommend them to friends and family in the area. Thanks again for the great experience after countless horror stories involving other shops around Albany! read more

By far the BEST experience I've ever had with an auto body shop!! The entire staff was welcoming and reassured me that my car would be as good as new after it was fixed. A HUGE plus was that the service time was much faster than anyone had anticipated. By choosing Kaiser, your experience will be QUICK, EASY and VALUABLE. Kaiser is convenient with their agreement with Enterprise...If you do need a rental car (I did), all you do is show up to Kaiser, hand in your keys so that your car can be serviced, and within minutes, an enterprise agent shows up to get you your rental. When I picked up my car, Kaiser made sure that I did not sign the approval form until they personally walked me over to my car, explained the process of the work that was done (without mechanic jargon...thank GOD), and they made sure that I was happy with the outcome of my car before I signed off the insurance form and drove home. Great people, great place. Thank you Kaiser!! :) read more

This operation is top notch. 3 years ago they corrected paint blemishes that were on my SUV when i bought it brand new. Absolutely NO sign of where they did the repair On Monday 6-20-2016 I stopped in with no appointment or call to show them a spot on door where another car door dinged the paint off to the netal, and now started to rust. Steve looked at my door, had his shop fix it immediately , plus they touched ip anorher spot, and then the did n9t charge me. . I live in Saratoga and the drive is well worth the superior customer service and workmanship read more

Did a great job, on time, for less than the original estimate. Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for? read more

I have been a client at Kaiser Body Shop for at least 15 years. They do top quality work, and are extremely nice people. Yesterday I met Steve Cioppa, an estimator, who was the best I have ever encountered. Steve immediately looked at my vehicle, wrote up the estimate, and took several photos. He sat with me, discussed my options, then volunteered to send the estimate and photos to my insurance company..a first for me !! He is the most helpful, likeable person I have ever encountered in this business. He is a definite asset to Kaiser, a perfect fit for their quality, exceptional operation. read more

Beware...beware...beware!!!!!!!!! Warning before you go to Kaisers beware. If you get your car back and something is not correct do not be surprised when they tell you they do not want your business in the future. Their business model is "If a customer comes back with an issue do not take their business again." I was actually told that on the phone with the manager. Between paint peeling off the car a few months after the work was done, them putting a cracked head light cover back on the car, and my alarm system being turned off it was not a good experience. I had to go back several times. Since the owners have stepped back and let others run the business it has been nothing but a bad experience. I took my car there with my alarm system working the day I dropped it off. When I picked it up it wasn't working. I went back and ask them about it and they said it could not be them. I took the car to the alarm installer and it turned out the power switch in the area the work was being done had been turned off. Then 2 weeks later I noticed they put a cracked head light cover back on the car. I walked around the car in the sunlight and the cover had spider cracks all through it. Once again I had to go back and have them put a new one on. Then 10 months after the car had been painted the paint started to peel off. I took it back and they admitted it was something to do with what they had done. They took the car and repainted the area. Six months later the car was hit in the door while parked. I took it to Kaisers hoping my last experience was just a one time thing to get it fixed and they refused my business because they did not want to do business with people that came back if there was a mistake with the work they had done. I could not believe it. Here I have taken many cars to them and the first time I take a car back to have them fix something and they do not want the business because I took the car back when I noticed issues with the work they had done. Like I said they use to be the best but now stay away far away. They said they have enough business now so they can pick and choose their customers. I have to thank them because I think they did me a big favor by sending me to another business that fixed the car right the first time. read more
