Instead of standing around criticizing his staff, it would have been nice to see him jump in and help a little--especially when the bartender was clearly overwhelmed with drink orders. His employees were doing their best, and a manager should be supporting their team when things get busy, not making the situation more stressful. The staff themselves were kind, friendly, and clearly trying their best. It's unfortunate to see employees working hard while their manager makes an already stressful situation even more uncomfortable. A little patience, respect, self-awareness, and actually helping your team would go a long way.
