I liked the dr but the rest of the staff were terrible and if you have an emergency and the office is within an hour of closing they won't see you they will send you to an urgent care. They do not care about your child they just don't want to stay after hours. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Both Dr. Arnold & Dr. Ryan took excellent care of both my daughters from birth to ages 4 and 6 when we needed to move to a different state and I highly recommend both of them. read more

My son had an appointment with the junior Doctor Kagan. We went in specifically to see if my child should be on antidepressants. After asking a few questions he stated that he does not prescribe antidepressants and we'd have to see a psychiatrist. Then I paid the $30 copay. Not cool. read more

Terrible customer service by receptionist, they must hate their job. Get another job if you hate going in to work. Little People are sick, at best smile make them feel better than their present state. Our little grand girls were very sick and they both smiled, said hello and waved. I've been going to Kagan Pediatrics for most of my life. Arnold Kagan was my pediatrician growing up and now we go see Dr. Ryan for my toddler. Both Dr. Kagans are great and easy to work with for adults and kids. Our son looks forward to his visits to Dr Ry and doesn't have the negative association with his doctor that some of our friend's kids do. The office staff is great as well and very accommodating about getting you in last minute when your kid is unexpectedly sick (which is usually what happens). We recommend them to all our friends having kids! read more

My family (with kids ages 4 and 7) has only had very POSITIVE experiences with Kagan Pediatrics. -We always get in very quickly when booking same-day sick appointments. -Parking is so easy -We never have to wait long to be seen -The nurses and front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating - Both Dr. Arnold and Dr. Ryan have very calm, non-alarming ways of dealing with issues which is perfect during otherwise stressful situations. -My kids never complain about going to the doctor and after my son was given THREE shots at his 4-year-old check up did not want to leave! -We always get a quick response when calling during non-office hours -My husband and I can't recommend them enough! read more

The Kagans have been seeing my son since we moved to Pearland in 2014 and my daughter since she was born in 2015. We have had the best experiences with their practice. They are open, honest, great with breastfeeding mothers, very easy to communicate with, and super flexible with their appointments. We have called several times in the mornings and have been accommodated schedule wise each time. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire practice! read more

My one little minor review won't mean much but I would like to say I've been coming here for years and I am finally going to seek a new doctor for my 4 kids. They have lost 4 patients because they are money hungry and full of greed. I had a minor insurance situation that ended up not being covered so they charged me full price and not the cash price. 700$ difference for a single mother...They are charging me $500 for something they do at Walgreens for 30$. I will not return and I would not recommend you bring your children here. They could make an exception. They are the owners. I do not feel like they truly care about people. I gave two Stars for the awesome nurse that helped my daughter and I ... What disappointed me most about our First Visit here was the lack of interest the young Dr. Showed my daughters condition. I'm a new parent so this is my first time and may not be overly experienced in Doctor visits but I do like doctors that pay attention to concerns parents have. To top it off the doctor gave my child a tongue suppressor as a reward for not crying during her shot... (She's three) Needless to say we are going elsewhere. The office is clean and there is a play area for children but it does not compensate for bad service. read more

We have been coming here for 2 years now and they are great . We never feel pressure from the doctors when is comes to shots food etc we breast fed and they never bashed it like it seems some doctors do now in days even when our daughter was smaller then most they just made sure she was gaining weight each we went which she was so they were happy with it . Usually we can get a same day appointment of needed . The doctors have gone far and above we were in nicu at tch for a few weeks after she's already been home a few days and we couldn't find out anything from the tch doctors so I called the dad dr and he was able to call me back and give me updates on what was going on . We have been here for 2 years and don't plan on leaving anytime soon read more

Dr. Kagan has seen all of my kids since they were born. He has a great bedside manner, very professional and is so patient with my children. The office is always clean and there is almost NO WAIT for appointments. The most I have waited to see the doctor is maybe 15 min and that was on a busy day! Kagan Pediatrics receives 5 stars from me. I would consider this practice like family. My Nana(Grandmother) work for Dr. Arnold Kagan for 10+ yrs. He was my pediatrician, my brothers, and my cousin(s). Now he is my 3yr. olds pediatrician. I'm comfortable because I can seek advice, or express concern with Dr. Kagan. And the nursing staff is always welcoming. I would recommend Kagan Pediatrics to any parent. You have someone with many years of knowledge, and experience. And a more recent Dr. (Ryan Kagan) under the same practice. You can't go wrong with Kagan Pediatrics!! read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. I was referred to this practice by a friend of mine who said she sees the dad of this father/son team. What she didn't tell me, until after the appointment, is why she only sees the dad. The son, Ryan Kagan, is a rude, condescending jerk. I'm keeping it PG, as there are much stronger words that could be used to describe him. He spent most of the visit lecturing me about the vaccine, didn't even look in my son's ears or nose, and at one point left the room and came back in with a swab. He didn't say a word to me like "I'm going to swab him for strep" or covid or whatever else he could have been swabbing for, and just told my son to open his mouth and then stuck the swab in his throat. During the entire visit, he never did tell me what the swab was for. I'm assuming it was for strep and it was negative, but those words never came out of his mouth. By the way, he wore a mask and a face shield and spoke 100 miles per hour, all of which was muffled by said mask and shield. I had to ask him several times to repeat himself. I wish I had listened to the reviews I read here before taking my son to this practice, so the least I can do is reiterate the same thing others have said. He's rude and definitely not someone I want to take my children to, so I hope this helps anyone looking for a pediatrician for their children. read more

Dr Ryan has seen my child since we left the NICU. He's personally answered our calls in the middle of the night and followed up with us during the day. I appreciate the time he's spent caring for us. I also like that they can often schedule is the same day for sick visits. read more

I took my daughter to this pediatric clinic and the front desk staff is very friendly. The nurses are friendly as well and the location is nice. Once inside my daughter was always checked by the son. This is a father-son clinic. They would ask me who i would rather see but it wouldnt make a difference to me. I would spend abt 5 mins if even with the doctor and then i would be about my way. He never really took the time to ask about mu daughters development. I then decided to move her from clinics because they showed little to no interest. At the new clinic they soon told me that my daughter was behind and needed to asist speech therapy. I do not recommend them. Everybody in there is nice but thats not enough. read more

My son is 18 months old and has seen both Doctors at Kagan pediatrics since we left the hospital. I should have done my research before I chose this place because it has not been a good experience. Like other reviews, my biggest concern is the lack of compassion and poor bedside manner. Every visit was about the same, the receptionist was rude and disinterested. The physicians do not take the time for a first time parent especially when it is needed. My son had a fever of 104 and I called to see if they could see him an hour before closing and the staff was extremely rude and wanted to know how long it was going to take me to get there. Someone working in a pediatrics office should be more understanding and compassionate. I do not recommend this place. read more

I have to agree with most of the reviewers on this and the google site. Ryan's bedside manner is ok, but Arnold's is horrible. Getting hand written bills in 2014 was also a turn off. There are simply too many other pediatricians to go to. I would not recommend. read more

I was not impressed with this doctor at all. His bedside manner is HORRIBLE he's not friendly and the staff overall just doesn't interact well with children. My 3 year old son is extremely friendly and inquisitive (as most 3 year olds are) he tried asking the doctor about his stethoscope Dr. Kagan was very grumpy and unresponsive. He just dosent seem like he enjoys his job. Also, the nurse at the front desk didn't greet us she looked miserable as well. The father and son doctors are nothing less that exceptional... Both were great my daughter. Both Kagan doctors are very kind, personable and understanding. The administration and ladies up front are the problem... EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude! TINA the office manager gave my insurance company a hard time... Gave the clinic that called her a hard time and when I finally called she rushed me off the phone and would not return my call when I was in need for help for my daughter. I'm in Law Enforcement myself so I deal with folks on a daily basis. That's just not a fair way to treat or talk to people. Especially folks who are giving you their hard earned money. The administration there will turn a lot of people away. I currently have taken my daughter out of that facility and will be looking for another doctor for her. read more

I have been going to Kagan Pediatrics since my daughter was born. She is now 15 months. I was never thrilled with them, but I continued to take her to them because they were convenient and seemed "decent enough". However, I recently just took her in for her 15 month appointment and was totally shocked and disturbed by Dr. Arnold Kagan's behavior towards us. I began to explain to him a concern I had about my daughter and he blatantly blew me off, and in fact, walked out of the room as I was still talking. Your pediatrician is who you are supposed to voice concerns and seek guidance from, and I would not recommend either of the father/son duo for that. Also, the toy area is filthy. read more
