She was like an angel and I've never just had good doctors before. She listened to my needs and did not brush me off. She was understanding and non-judgmental. She wasn't nonchalant either. I mean dang, I wasn't expecting that. She was transparent with me and even told me things that were hard to discuss. Of course, she prescribed me some medicine, but gave me the option to take them or not. The clinical area was clean and clutter-free. The lobby was spacious with plenty of seating. There wasn't any staff waiting upstairs and would had to check in at in downstairs. The wheelchairs were near the front door which of course at the time, I needed one since I couldn't walk. I had an overall positive experience.

With my prior insurance, I had a private doctor who never canceled in over 11 years. There were times I had to see his PA or NP, but never total cancelations of days and times of appointments exclusive of a natural disaster. Not only is this disruptive to the patient's schedule, but depending on the provider type and appointment, I may have to wait weeks to reschedule or make a painful drive to another location. One cancelation is an inconvenience. Four times is incompetence.

There has only ever been a problem with one girl up front who had a rude attitude every time I interacted with her but i haven't seen her the past few months. I also don't like that the office now has a policy that all kids must be fully vaxxed or find another doctor. My children are vaxxed, but I don't think families should be coerced into vaccinating. Other than that the office, doctors, and staff are great. They are clean, caring, and hardly ever have to wait more than a few minutes.

Of course now that I'm calling to ask why I didn't get notified of getting booted off the schedule?? Nobody is answering the phone now and it's saying they're closed during their open business hours according to their website. We do not have insurance. Our family is private pay because it makes more financial sense for us right now, and this has been a wonderful alternative. She has seen all of the adults and children in our household for three years for everything from skin infections to Covid. It has been very easy to get an appointment same day , the clinic staff is all wonderful and knowledgeable, and the facility is clean. They always offer us receipts in case we would like to file with insurance, but that does not apply to us. Dr. Miryala has even offered options each time to find the best prescription to meet our needs. Best urgent care around!!!
