Do not choose this just because its the closest clinic to you. This is by far the worst experience…read moreive ever had and ive been regularly going to different places for over 10 years. Never in my life have i needed to wait 2 weeks or more for a simple refill of my medication ive been taking for 9 years straight. The doctor that operates this place has an attitude and clearly hates helping other people. It is the equivalent of teachers that go into teaching but hate having to "deal" with children. i called in for a refill 2 weeks before i needed to and its still not filled. excuse after excuse and endless "we left her a message." a perscription is a few clicks on a website/app. their excuses do not correlate with the required effort that needs to be fulfilled and if you call her directly she will yell at you saying you are 'wasting her time." she will scream at you. literally such a horrible experience never in my life have i had a problem EVERY SINGLE MONTH when i need a refill compared to literally every single establishment I've been to. why in the world did you pursue this job when you clearly hate dealing with people it makes no sense. EDIT: They just terminated / discharged me for this honest and warranted review despite me being very through and understanding. insanity.

The Dr prints out the countries and vaccinations needed. Dr leaves and nurse comes in to administer the vaccinations needed for travel. Overall the Dr informative about the vaccinations needed and not needed, she printed out copies of the countries I would be visiting , she was definitely honest and upfront , this was a quick informative appointment and my time and money was valued.

It's fancy and new and has a large parking lot, one where you can always find a spot. It's not cheap but what medical stuff is these days? Generally good experiences and an excellent modern facility despite the awful and expensive joke that is a health care system in this country.

Went with UTMB for my first one and I think I'm going back. It's so difficult for me to get a prenatal care appointment, I've called several times to schedule and never receive any calls back. Even when I do get ahold of someone they tell me they'll call me later and I never hear from them until I attempt to call again. All of my experiences have been really impersonal. I expressed my desire for a female delivery doctor and they tried to convince me to just go with the male doctor and scheduled me with him anyway. Completely disregarded my concerns and requests. Really wanted to have a good experience with this clinic but I think I'll be ending my relationship with them.

First off I'd like to say this review does not pertain to Dr. Ahmed but is written about Dr. Khan…read morewho thinks she had the authority to prevent me from advocating for my health and a second medical professional's concern for my health. I am writing this review because Dr. Khan has more interest in billing insurance for unnecessary office visits than for my wellness as her patient. Dr. Khan has been my PCP for the past year. I began a dental procedure two weeks ago and during the procedure the dental provider noticed excessive bleeding for this minor procedure. He advised me to have my health evaluated by my family medicine doctor before completing future dental work. I contacted Dr. Khan's office the next day to schedule a health evaluation appointment. I provided Dr. Khan's office staff the name of the dental provider and his office contact information just in case Dr. Khan needed to consult with him. Dr. Khan's office initially tried to schedule my appointment for the end of September. But after expressing my concern for the length of time between the dental provider advising me to be evaluated and the appointment date, Dr. Khan's office staff asked her permission and scheduled me for an earlier appointment but the date was still two weeks from the time of the request advised by my dental provider. Today during the appointment Dr. Khan attempted to minimize my concern for my health by stating I didn't have any risk factors or history to warrant labs being drawn, as if health stays the same, And under her breath mumbled," it's just money" ,I in turn told Dr. Khan that it was not a lay person who advised me to have a health evaluation and I wanted the lab work ordered and sent to Quest. She then attempted to minimize the dental providers profession and opinion as if he has no medical knowledge. After a few more attempts of her trying to convince me otherwise and my refusal to back down, Dr. Khan provided a hard copy lab request and sent an electronic request to Quest. As I mentioned, she has been my family medicine doctor for over a year but has not obtained an electronic copy of my medical records from my provider a who is located in San Antonio, TX. Last year, she used not having my medical records as an excuse not to complete my placard renewal stating, " DPS was going to ask her questions she could not answer about my health without my medical records, and she could no complete the renewal form", so the orthopedic doctor as a courtesy completed the renewal, but advised me that my PCP is required to complete the form the same as my San Antonio PCP competed the form for me. Dr. Khan and I visited he placard issue again today because it expires this month. I dropped off the renewal form three weeks ago. Today she forced me to schedule an appointment in October so we could discuss the placard renewal. Dr. Khan still has not obtained my records from the previous PCP and again tried to push the placard renewal responsibility onto the orthopedic provider. Dr. Khan could have easily submitted the lab request after I contacted her office with the information from my dental provider so we could have reviewed them today however, she continues to require appointments to bill the insurance. There also is no other reason for her not completing the placard renewal she has enough medical information from my office visits with her office. If you are not a confident advocate for your health, I would avoid this provider. I am not saying this to be true about Dr. Khan but I have read about medical professionals being financially rewarded with kick backs from insurance companies for overlooking patient health concerns that my be costly to treat and then allowing the patient to become ill past the point of recovery when a simple treatment could have avoided progression of a disease.

Fantastic Dr. I highly recommend. In fact even if you don't have an issue with your current Dr. I…read morestill think you should quit them ASAP and see Dr Khan. if you want to know why read on... A friend referred me to Dr. Madiha Khan after listening to me gripe about my previous Dr. (I will not name). There's a lot to unwrap about this fantastic sister duo and their new clinic. My friend had been gushing about how wonderful both Dr. are and hopefully she will make her own review. I know she's sent me and 3 others to see the clinic. I'll keep my review to my personal experience. Step 1. Make the appointment: I called in to schedule. The lady I spoke to was friendly. I was able to get in as quickly as 2 days. She gathered my info, insurance and sent a link to fill out additional patient info. The convo was uninterrupted and took just a few minutes. Step 2. the Pre-visit: I followed up with the patient info link. Easy enough to quickly complete on my android. Step 3. Arrival: I happened to show up 30 min early for my appointment (that never happens). The receptionist greeted me with a smile. The lobby was clean, the décor was nice and simple. More paperwork - emergency contact along with some medical history. Step 4. The Walk Back: Paperwork complete, the nurse took me to the scale then to the room where my BP was taken. She promised the Dr. would be in shortly. At this point it was still 15 min till my scheduled appointment time. I wrongly expected to wait for a while. 1 minute is NOT a while. Step 5. The first meet: Dr. Mediha Khan came in with a smile. Not forced. Not cuz we're friends. She had the look of someone happy to be where she was. I mean she's got her own practice and with her OBGYN Sister none the less. My previous Dr and my kids Dr. always have a frazzled/worn out kinda look to them. Dr. Khan just seemed happy to be seeing me rather than rushed and ready to run to the next... Step 6. Getting to business: Doc asked why I was here. I explained i wasn't happy at my current Dr. I found her through a friend. Told her who my family Dr. and Heart Dr were she knew exactly who they were, which was just comforting to know. I went through my issues with my Dr., medical issues, prescriptions, and history. SHE LISTENED when I was finished she followed up with questions and then more questions. The fact that she dove in with so many questions that my old Dr. never asked was impressive. The fact that she questioned "why" on some of the old Dr. decisions and prescriptions was uncomfortable. (The kind of uncomfortable feeling you have when your new mechanic shows you that your brake pads don't need to be replaced for another 20K miles, but your old mechanic wants to charge you $1200 and insists it should be done yesterday.) The best question she asked was "what do you want?". It was an easy answer "I want to feel better with less hassle". (I've never been asked that before). After going through everything she got my new scripts sent to my pharmacy. We put a short term and long term plan together. I spent 20-25 minutes talking with her. Not once did I feel rushed. She had zero intention of leaving me until she was satisfied, that I was satisfied. Step 7. Check out: I left Step 8. THE Oops: Okay so it wasn't quite perfect. That afternoon I had a question. One that I should have asked, but didn't think about. It was about 3pm Friday and i thought what the heck I'll call and see if i can get through and get an answer... I called, The receptionist answered I told her I had a question for the Dr. She said on the portal I could send a question to the Dr and she could quickly get back to me. I asked if it was possible for her to relay my question to the Dr. and get back to me at her convenience. She said, she could. Well she did, in about 30 minutes. (sorry it's a little vague, not try to share my personal stuff). Step 9. The 2nd appointment: I don't know yet, but I'm actually looking forward to it Step 10. there not a step 10... it just seemed like there ought to be... I'm male so I've only visited the family portion of Complete Care OB/GYN & Family Medicine. My GF sees both and LOVES them. Now stop reading and give em a call.
