Since…read moremoving to Ocala a little over 2 years ago, I think I have been to 4 different massage therapists. The first one I had was amazing but flaky and so was the business. The other 2 did not relieve any pain for me. My back and neck tend to obtain knots like nobody's business so I find massage therapy very important. This spa is in a little plaza and it is very nice in every aspect. I have visited here 4 times and I cannot think of any complaints. As soon as I walk in, I have been greeted by Lyn (who was waiting for me) and usually a staff member sitting at the front desk. There is such a calming and warm energy as soon as you walk in. In the lobby, they have products for sale. There is also water and tea. The Whisper Lounge is an excellent feature and I think all spas should have this. I went to a spa years ago in Miami that had a room like this and it was such a valuable amenity. I usually do not get to sit there more a couple of minutes but one day I'll go early so I can sit and relax! There are several services provided here, such as facials and massages. There is also a new salt sauna that you can use for an additional fee. I would love to do an entire spa day there but like most places, it seems almost impossible to be able to book everything in the same day due to schedule conflicts. Although this spa is almost a 20 minute drive from home, the reward is worth it. I have had the best massage of my life here and I hope to continue coming here!

I have had my hair cut there and for pedicures. Today, I went for a fast pedicure and I had Sofia. As she was doing my service, I mentioned to her that my right toe hurt. When I was leaving, she my name is Sofia and NEVER book with me. I felt she was rude. As I was checking out, I was asked how my service was and I told them. The manager immediately said let me make this right for you. I told her I would pay for the service but she insisted. Worst nail salon I've ever been to. This business is money hungry and does NOT do the right thing…read morefor the customer. I came in and showed the front desk the ripples/bubbles on all my nails. I've never had my nails look like that and they were only 2 weeks old. They seemed to understand my concern, so I was under the impression they were just fixing my nails. When the tech reapplied the original color I chose, it would not cure- it looked rippled again, and easily wiped right off of both hands. He told me there was something wrong with the polish and to choose a different color. He rushed the polish this time, didn't even file my nails, then walked me to checkout and I could see him change the screen from "gel repair- $0.00" to "gel color change- $30.00". That's what I paid originally!! It was confirmed it was a product problem when the same original color couldn't be applied again today, not just normal wear and tear. Having to pay DOUBLE for a service that should've lasted DOUBLE the time isn't good customer service. I would have just waited until I was normally due for a polish change if it was communicated that I had to pay AGAIN for a half-ass service. Any other nail salon would've waved me on my way and gotten my business back next time! I even said I was happy to just leave a tip, but they still wouldn't budge on having to paying for the polish change. It shouldn't be that difficult to do the right thing in rare circumstances. Avoid this salon!!

I had chosen this place because I needed a massage really bad and a new massage therapist I was going to see was all booked for that month. I figured I would try here first and if it was exactly what I wanted, then I would return. I arrived early and decided to sit in my car for a little prior to entering. After sitting there for about 5 minutes, my massage therapist approached my car and asked if I was Lauren and there for a massage appointment, to which I said yes. She invited me to come in early and we could get started. I did not know what to expect but it was a small space once you walked inside. I was offered to use the restroom prior to starting, to which I did. It was a cute and homey bathroom. Good vibes! Then I was led to the first room, where my massage therapist inquired about areas to work in, which are always my neck and shoulders mostly. She gave me time to undress and returned shortly after. It was cool too because she offered me any music I wanted to listen to, which I informed her that I listen to everything. So she played a nice mix that was appropriate. Some reggae, jazz, etc. The massage was good overall but since I was super tense and tight, she had issues getting my head and shoulders to relax. It was like a reflex that I could not help. I definitely recommend this place and I would like to try other services as well in the future.
