We left our 2 pups with Dave, Pam and Co. for 10 days, our first vacation in many years. Our 6-year old has been kenneled many times before, but this was only the second time for our 2-year old. I was nervous about leaving them for so long, especially after a not-so-hot stay at another kennel for 3 nights in February. My anxiety subsided substantially after we visited Kadillac ahead of the stay. Several large yards with much shade and very happy pups greeted us. Dave is a dear man and gave us the grand tour. All areas were immaculately clean and everyone we met was friendly and lovely (shout out to Amanda whom I spoke with on several occasions!). I loved that they could stay in a suite together, and were able to run around and socialize with other dogs several times a day. And what a perk being able to check in whenever we wanted via video camera. I slept better knowing they were tucked in safely for the night! Bedding is changed often, and with a longer stay they were bathed without charge. At Kadillac you will find professional, knowledgeable, caring individuals who want only the best possible experience for your babies. We've already booked another stay in March. Hey people I just want you all to know the truth about Kadilac kennel, and Dave and pam Worsham . These two people are truly legit. My dog chased a deer from our house the other morning and we looked for her for 2 hrs and had to go to work, Heart broken. Dave came to our house and looked for her the whole day till we came home that night and came back at night also! We got her!!! But people when I SAY THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR DOG , THEY DO!! IT IS NOT A ACT TO GET BUSINESS! Good people! Dave didn't even hesitate to offer help . Your babies are diffinitly safe there, the kennels are super clean , they let your dog out to play in a HUGE FENCED IN YARD ALOT! My dog loves it there she has made great friends with other dogs . We take her there for day care and some times she spends the night because we work late, never a issue, They offer grooming also VERY CONVENIENT! She always loves it there!! I chose Kadillac Kennels based on the owners background and the newness of the facility. We adopted a dog only 7 weeks before boarding her, and she had never been in a kennel before. You can imagine how nervous I was! My fears quickly dissipated after checking in on her (the facility provides cameras in each individual kennel). Her space was clean, cozy, and a warm blanket covered her elevated bed. The staff gave daily ear rubs to comfort her, and kept a watchful eye on all of the pups in the facility. Communication with the staff is excellent - I sent a few emails to ask questions (nervous Mom) and replies were both quick and reassuring. The best part of this kennel for my dog was the generous amount of daily outdoors time. She was only inside for meals, a daily 2-hour "time out for naps", and of course sleeping at night. On her final day, I picked up a clean and happy dog, sporting a bandana that matched her coat. The next time I need to board my dog, my choice will definitely be Kadillac Kennels! read more

Hi! I'm Joey and my attention monger of a sister is Bella. My mom asked us what we thought about our stay at Kadillac Kennels and here is the honest-to-dog truth. We don't like being away from our parents but when we have to be we love staying here. Mom and Dad feel comfortable bringing us here when they want to go away for some fun (we cannot understand what is more fun than being with us but whatever lol) . We love the staff and they love us back. We love all the time we spend outdoors filling our noses with fresh air and making new friends. I personally enjoy just chillaxing and playing a little bit; Bella always finds new friends to run around with and chase - she's a bit more high strung than I am. Our parents always laugh at us when we get home because we are so exhausted from all the activity. While there is no place like home, Kadillac Kennels does their best to make us feel at home. This is a great place to send your dog. We had to go out of town for two weeks and we had never left our dog with anyone. The kennels were very clean and the play area was very nice. The workers were very nice and really liked the animals they were working with. We were able to check on him at all times we were away. The interaction and play time he was given was superb! He was given great care and we were very satisfied with how well he seemed to do while we were away. We will definitely bring him back the next time we go out of town for a long period of time. If you are looking for a place to take care of your pet while you are out of town I would suggest you chose Kadillac Kennels in Murphy, NC. We did and we are happy we did for our dog. We used Kadillac Kennels for the first time this past week. We have 2 dogs, Remi (Wire Haired Point Griffon) and Bama Belle (Labradoodle). This was the first time the dogs have been away from us so we were a bit worried how they would do so we put them together in one of the kennels and they did so good cuddling up to each other on the same bed. The cameras are such a wonderful upgrade. The ability to see your babies while you are away is such a blessing. The other thing that immediately got my attention when pulling in was the sign on their gate "For Me and My House We Will Serve the Lord". Hi, This is Sammie, Summer, and Sport. We stayed at this wonderful and great doggie "Bed & Care" retreat. We enjoyed ourself's a lot even though our mom and dad were not with us, but our host's were ever so kind to us. We had been here before and are looking forward to our next visit... we can't wait!!! When our mom and dad came to pick us up we spent a nice time visiting with them and our hostess care givers before going back home. Knowing we can take our VERY energetic Border Collie mix to such a wonderful facility is such a comfort. It is always spotless and well maintained. The wonderful staff are caring, conscientious and very attentive. Our pup LOVES spending a day with his buddies and always runs to the car hoping it is Doggie Daycare day. He recently had to spend his first night away from home and we had no hesitation leaving him with Dave, Pam and his buddies at the kennel. He has a blast with all of them and always comes home a very happy camper. Since our dog loves the water, they fill one of the pools so he can splash away on our hot days...how spoiled is he?? Last week we boarded Bowser, our Red Tick Hound & Jet our Walker Coon Hound. Both of our dogs are rescues and had never been boarded since leaving the shelter two years ago. Needless to say I was nervous however I will tell you that the attention, love and care was first class. Dave is a dog whisperer and can sense which dogs will interact without any issue. Both of our dogs were able to play and socialize with others which is so important. What I found so helpful was there camera system where I could check on them any time. From the first phone call I knew this was the place to keep my 3 dogs. Lily answered ALL of my questions and helped me decide how to board all of my dogs on short notice. She was polite, sweet, and even offered me a discount! Ricky went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable leaving them. He spent time with me discussing the options I had. Our fur baby, Izzy, spent a week at Kadillac Kennel while we were on vacation. The facility is so well taken care of and so clean!! This is one of the nicest kennels and grooming facilities I have ever seen. The staff is always kind and helpful. They even assisted me in finding a vet for last minute vaccinations!! I was able to easily view her on the dog cam anytime I wanted. If she wasn't in her kennel, I knew she was out running with the other little dogs. They gave her a bath before we picked her up and treated her like the princess she is! Izzy is also receives grooming at Kadillac Kennel and we have never been disappointed! We recently boarded our two dogs at Kadillac Kennels the week before Christmas. As has been mentioned in other reviews the place is spotless (I'm talking hospital clean!) and the runs are large and secure. Dave and Pam both have a strong passion for what they do and it shows! My wife and I really enjoyed the IDogCam where we were able to log in and peek in on them. More than once we logged in to see their tails wagging while either Dave or Pam were there making sure they had a clean blanket and rubbing bellies! We were new to town as of July last year. Our neighbor referred us to Dave & Pam at Kadillac Kennel. Our almost 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer LOVES his overnight stays. As first time dog owners (and being states away when we send him for an overnight) the ability to check in on our little man via their live feed cameras is SO COMFORTING. Dave, Pam and the entire Kadillac team are extremely responsive and communicative during the booking process and accessible during the stay, should any questions come up. We have had a bad experience before with leaving a pet at a kennel, so we were reluctant to leave Max at any kennel. We did our research, visited Kadillac Kennels and decided this was the kennel for us. We were so glad we chose Kadillac. Every time Max goes to stay at the kennel, he starts whining when we go up the drive because he is so excited to be there. Having the camera in the kennel provides extra assurance that our fur baby is happy and health. We bring our German Shepherd here often. The care she receives is outstanding. We can view her via live video anytime during her stay. Ricky and Cathy are always so happy to see her arrive and we know that they spoil her. Gretl has special dietary restrictions and medicine that has to be given with each meal or she will have issues. I LOVE Kadillac Kennels! I have three fur babies and they jump for joy when I say "Doggie Daycare". They know where they are going and can't get into the car fast enough. They are so well cared for AND you get to view your fur baby when they are in their suite. You never have to worry how they are doing because you can SEE for yourself. I wouldn't take my fur babies to any other kennel. This by far is the BEST place to house your loved pets. The staff is caring and gets an A+++ from me. We have left my Fur Baby Jax; a 110 pound GSD, many times. He loves staying with Dave and his crew. The Kennels are clean and the fact that you have 3 different sizes to choose from is so awesome. I also love the individual kennel camera, that allows you to look in on your Fur Baby whenever you please. Jax is a good judge of character and he absolutely loves going to the kennels. My Jolie loves to stay at Kadillac. She loves the people there. She just stayed there 4 days this last week. While she was there, she got to be the senior hall and yard monitor. She loved it, she would wait until the technician would tell her to go outside, then she would wait with him until all her neighbors were ready to go. She is eleven years old so there wasn't much playing but she would wait by the outside gate for the technician to come and get everyone to go back inside. I've taken my dog to Kadillac Kennels several times for day care and I've always been extremely happy. Last weekend I had to board Sergeant for 2 nights. The kennel has a camera in each suite so I can log on whenever I want to check on my doggie. They give all the animals plenty of run time several times a day. The staff is very friendly and great with the animals! I recommend Kadillac Kennels to all of my friends who have pets, or anyone looking for a wonderful, trustworthy place to leave their pets.
