Tried this restaurant for the very first time. Ordered the shish kebab, hummus and a chai tea. I was really disappointed when I didn't receive my chai tea with my food order, but the man at the restaurant was so courteous and respectful when I called to explain that I didnt receive my chai tea; I really believe he sent it. I even found a small straw and sugar and honey packets in my bag. I can't fault this restaurant for the grubhub driver forgetting to give me my drink. My food was delicious and the perfect portion! I liked this place the minute I walked in. The people who are running this place are extremely welcoming and friendly, they have a very warm and friendly vibe. The guy didn't judge me I'd how much I ordered just for one person , I'm of deprived of Indian food where I am living currently. I went all out and ordered a chicken puff, chicken biryani, chai, and falooda. Everything that I ordered came out quickly, and tasted fresh and warm. The chicken biryani was very authentic tasting, it almost tasted like my mother had made it. You will not be disappointed if you come here comma I'll really have to try their kabobs next time because they looked delicious. The portions can definitely feed a lot of people for a very cheap price, and it's beyond worth it. The chai was extremely creamy, and I had to order another one. This is my go to place for Pakistani food. It's somewhat far from my place but beats driving to Hillcroft. The food has great flavor and is savory. I usually get the Nihari, chicken biryani, chicken tikka and chicken karahi. That's my staple when I'm craving paki food. That place is nicely decorated and isn't over the top, the servers are nice and fast. Updated review 03/21/2019: This was my go to place for chicken Karahi. But when I came home and opened it up to eat it,it looked horrible. The chicken looked to be uncleaned with still slimy parts that should be cut off and thrown out. The chicken pieces where like from all the bad parts of the chicken, like the wing and the rib cage, barely had any meat. The salan (gravy) was cubed up tomatoes,mashed garlic and ginger. It wasn't cooked long enough for it to be to cooked down. I honestly feel like they've taken left overs from other people's left over Karahi and just given to me in my order. This is my favorite place to get desi food. Everything is so tasty, and it has a warm atmosphere. The food is so authentic and delicious, it reminds me of my days visiting my baba in her country. The prices are just perfect for the food quality that serves, and the portions are pretty fair as well. I have been coming here for months and it never seizes to surprise me with every new dish i try. The experience over all is great, especially when they are not too busy. I ordered Tandoori Chicken Half plate and it came with Rice, Salad and Chutneys. It was not at all costly for the quantity. It came with more than 8 pieces of chicken nicely well done Grilled. It was so tasty, so juicy, exact level of spices, just by looking it was mouth watering. On the top the Service was 5star Ayesha was so nice and very welcoming and hospitable. Service was good though, food arrived quickly and was presentable. However in my option portion size needs to be worked upon. The waiters are responsive. The wait time is long, atleast 25-30 mins. I ordered the beef burger with fries and I was not dissastified. The beef had flavor and the fries were crisp. We had a lay over in Houston from Mexico so we found this restaurant not too far from our hotel. $15 uber ride. We ordered the mixed grill , garlic naan and for drinks mango lassi and I had flooda. The tandoori chicken was delicious. The grilled was okay and the some the grilled pieces and naan were a bit salty for my palette. But we enjoyed a quick bite right before the closed. The area is a busy one with JoeVs right next door but when you step in, you won't even notice. It is kept impeccably clean and is modern. Order and pay at the counter. So here go my recommendations Chicken shawarma, spicy, on paratha bread with a side of fries and extra yogurt sauce Mixed platter, spicy with naan. This platter comes with yellow rice and hummus Birhyani - extra sauce on the side!!! Whoa mama this is my favorite by far. Mixed rice with chicken seasoned perfectly. I used to really like this place. Before I was paying 10$ just for the meat and not for rice and rice being 3$ just to add to a meal. And before their food quality was 100% in my opinion now it's a good 40% the food quality has dropped so badly. The only thing that hasn't changed is probably the naan. Oh and the very bad costumer service, I miss when the owner actually used to be around. I'll just stop coming in general, for a college student in a middle class area such as where this is located, it's not convenient for me. I've been to Kabob Korner a few times, the latest at their new location which seems to have the same basic setup, furniture and décor from their previous rendition. The menu appeared to be basically the same as well. According to their website, they also have a location in Katy now. I tried the hummus and the beef seekh kabob. Both of these were good, but I wouldn't put them at the top, as far as others I've tried in Houston. For my main dish, I ordered from the Pakistani side of the printed menu and had the beef behari kabob. After taking the first bite, I realized that I had ordered it the last time I came as well. It is marinated in "special" Pakistani spices according to the cashier and it's a little on the spicy side, so that's my main reason for ordering it. The beef is extremely tender and has a pretty unusual texture, almost powdery tasting when taking a bite, so that is the only part that is difficult to get past. I get a part of it has been tenderized to death almost. Prices are a little on the high side for the area. I guess that helps them maintain a certain clientele. Customer service has always been friendly each time I've visited. Although, the latest time I visited, this counter-style restaurant seems to almost try to be waitress-style, since they ask you to order at counter, then pay when you finish. But, on my latest visit, the cashier comes to check on you a few times throughout the meal, as a typical waitress would. I would prefer a restaurant to either be counter or waitress, but not both. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, modern restaurant that serves a fusion of Mediterranean, Indian and Pakistani cuisine, you should try them out. read more

I requested the order be cancelled based on this and instead was forced to take the food and pay for it! I am absolutely appalled at the way this was handled both from the restaurants side and Favor. Not satisfied with this place. The naan was super chewy, and I asked for the garlic naan but was given a huge foot long piece of regular chewy naan (I ordered a regular gyro). There was no tzatziki at all which is weird when I ordered a gyro and there were only two measly pieces of tomato on my foot long gyro. The gyro meat tasted fine on its own. This place is very close to my work so I order from them pretty often and got my coworkers to order as well.
