I've been coming here for years because their food has the best flavor, the customer service is always great, and everything is consistently fresh. I always order either the Lamb Rack Kabob Plate or the Chicken Shish Kabob Plate. What I love most about their food is the flavor and how the meat is always juicy and never dry like at other restaurants. Their food tastes just as good in-store as it does to-go, so I frequently order both! Their plates also come with salad dressing, tzatziki and garlic sauce. I especially love the garlic sauce because it adds an extra kick without an overwhelming garlic flavor. I always look forward to my food from Kabob Cafe, but I also really look forward to seeing the family owners, Sid and his son, Iman! The food is like a 5 sit down restaurant but it's more of a fast food atmosphere in the food court center. We got the combo chicken and lamb shish kabobs. Very good favored moist and delicious. Normally we get the salad with it but we chose to get more rice due to the lettuce parasites going on right now. Not that they have any issues with their lettuce we are just taking precautions. We have been here several times and very time they are on point and never disappoint! We have been to other competitors and they don't compare to Kabob Cafe so we always end up coming back. The restaurant is clean some seatings inside or outside also. We always have great customer service and they help us with any questions we have on choosing a good dish. I grabbed a falafel sandwich and fries from Kabob Cafe in the Festival Food Court at the Foothill Ranch Town Center, and it was great. Ever since the Regal theater closed next door, business has clearly been down for them and all the other restaurants in the food court. Wow, their food is absolutely delicious! Tried the koobideh combo with both ground beef and ground chicken. Both were very juicy, tender and flavorful. For the side I selected the Greek salad, which was good too. A little heavy on the olives, but that's my bad, I should've asked for those to be left off. We also ordered the gyro wrap (in a tortilla) and really enjoyed that as well. Tasted really good, but I will say that it's a little bit on the small side and is served a la carte, so it doesn't include any sides. The owner, who was incredibly kind, also gave us a sample of their chicken shish kabob (chicken breast) to try. It was really tender and flavorful. Would definitely order that next time too. Found Kabob Cafe was one of the participating restaurants of the Lake Forest Gift Card, so co workers and I decided to give it a shot. We got here a little before noon and not long after, the line was out the door. So I guess good word of advice is to arrive early! The food was amazing - everybody loved what they ordered. Gyro wrap does have raw onions in it and it was too spicy for one of my co workers, so if you are sensitive to raw onions, would be good to ask for no onions or remove it when you eat it. Anyways, both coworkers who ordered the gyro wraps said they had really good flavor. Chicken shish kabob - coworker said meat was extremely tender and flavorful with the hummus. And my koobideh combo plate - both chicken and beef were tender with amazing flavors. Overall, glad we decided to give this place a try.
