    Korma lamb 3/2026
    Mike S.

Came here during UofA spring break when all the "kids" are gone. My friend hadn't been here before and finding two parking meters was easy. Her chosen protein on this day was the paneer (cheese cubes) and mine was my usual lamb. We each chose the korma sauce although I think my favorite remains their pashanda (which used to be secret menu only but is now a listed option). Staff was completely disinterested but courteous. Our lunches took a surprising 15 minutes to make. There appeared to be 2 pickup orders ahead of us. The amount of protein is "average" - that is to say, not sparse but nothing you might exclaim about. The lamb was decent quality with minimal fat or gristle. The sauces are always the highpoint and generously served along with the included side of rice. We both had leftover sauce and I advised that I deliberately take the roughly 50% excess sauce home and combine it later with chicken and some quick rice/noodles. It really makes for an excellent "leftovers" meal the following day. The layout changed since I was last here (a year ago?!) with a better setup of tables and chairs but the best seats in the house are now gone (previously there were 4 barstools facing out the large front window). For quick/solo lunch goers those were always best. I'll be back sooner.

    Indian beer. Tasty and strong.

I wasn't too hungry so I got the small chicken wrap for $8. It was loaded with chicken and flavor. I got a 5 of 5 spicy (maybe I'll go with the 4 next time). Nice thin tortilla. They have Indian beer as well. The person working the counter was very helpful. The ambiance is fast casual. Next time I'll have to get something more interesting like a dish from the "Chef's plates" part of the menu.

    Stuffed naan and saag paneer

Friendly and hardworking family served some delicious and affordable lunch- I would go again! The chicken tikka stuffed naan was unique and yummy and needed a bit more garlic but paired great with my saag paneer. I would have liked a bit more flavor in the rice and the saag more creamy, but over all, it satisfied my craving and I had leftover for dinner.

The food was hot, delicious, and there was plenty of it. I asked for a medium, and it definitely had a kick. The people at the counter were nice and attentive. I highly recommend. The only downside they were in the middle of construction and renovation..

We stopped today for lunch before the play at Centennial Hall. Our meals were delicious and would rate the quality and flavors as a 5 but the service was poor, thus the 3 rating. The person taking our order wouldn't offer any suggestions and was very short when we asked questions. I ordered the chicken kabob and my husband had the chicken with curry. Because of the service we will eat elsewhere next time we are on University Avenue.

This grill is located near the University of AZ campus. We were not sure what we wanted. When we saw the Indian food sign, it piqued our interest. After reviewing the menu, we decided to try it. I ordered the Q chicken curry wrap and hubby got chana masala with rice. They do a big take out business. Our order probably took about 15-20 min. Everything is cooked fresh to order. They also ask about spicy levels; mild, medium or hot. The food was ample. They offered 4 types of different sauces; hot, yogurt, tamarind and spinach. We enjoyed both dishes. I chose the yogurt sauce and it was perfect. Street parking.

SAHUARITA, AZ Location!! Currently, the Sahuarita location isn't aligned to Yelp per address as of 27 Mar, so this review applies to THIS location and not the Tucson or Oro Valley locations. - Finally opened; walked in and could clearly see that the building was immensely refurbished, updated, painted and outfitted to a modern fitting. The restaurant's colors are appealing, calm and yet simple. The smell of Inidian cuisine is a refreshing addition to Sahuarita where mexican and pizza joints have all but flooded the area in the same. I met with the manager who explained his past and why they came to Sahuarita. Their intent is to additionally open two more restaurants (purportedly) In Green valley and over in Vail. Again, nice to see an expansion of food style. Ordered three meals off of an overly simplistic dual-half page menu with garlic naan. $65.00... Yikes. for three meals that consisted of rice, 8 pieces of chicken and bread, this is seriously expensive. My wife noted, we're likely not going to be ordering much here for these prices and I couldn't agree more. The prices are extreme for this area - for this style. The meal itself was very delicious and fulfilling. The $65.00 price tag stuck in my mind the whole time I'm chomping though... 'Is this worth this??' From my 22 y/o and wife's POV, the meals were mutually delish. They handed the meals over BTW in a nice clean, green to go shopping fabric bag that can be reused - love those! Aside from the pricing, the meal took nearly 20 minutes to receive; though, IMO being brand new, this is almost to be expected and I'm okay with that. As long as this is corrected over the next week or so. The manager stated the goal for food-to-customer timeline 'should' be between 8-11 minutes and knows they need to work out some kinks. I certainly believe with the fanfare, they're going to work on this. They really want this restaurant to survive where again, the dynamics here are A) very few sit down restaurants and B) primarily Mexican and pizza based. Come check this place out, enjoy some well cooked, delicious meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals but still concerned at the pricing. You decide after a run through...

The chicken skewers were tender, the beef koobideh had great flavor and the saffron rice, pickled vegetables and grilled tomatoes tied everything together. We chose the dolmehs (x6, I ate one before taking the photo) and the two baklavas with our family meal and both were delicious. The owner is also the chef and he truly puts his heart into this restaurant. Every time we have gone, whether it is just us or when we bring family and guests, he always makes a point to say hello, visit our table and make us feel welcome. It adds so much charm to this delicious spot. They also have a huge selection of Ready Meals made in house by the owner. The flavors are fresh and feel like home cooked food made from the heart. It is an amazing option for meal prep because nothing feels repetitive. Prices are competitive with meal prep services and the portions have plenty of protein. The menu has Middle Eastern, Thai, Mediterranean and Desi flavors and everything tastes thoughtful and fresh. It truly is a gem and a place we will be returning to.

One of those pop up menus is an Indian street food menu that is fully vegetarian and also egg free (Indian pure vegetarian.) My husband and I went a couple times, once in May 2025 and once in Feb 2026 and it was delicious and beautifully plated. My review for the food itself is 5 stars. During those two visits we tried: (May 2025) -Pani Puri: Fresh and delicious and I recommend ordering it spicy if you eat spicy. -Samosa Chaat : This was a 5 star dish for me! It was the best samosa I have ever had with the most delicious toppings and condiments. We asked for yogurt on the side, I'd totally get that again. My second favorite dish here! -Dabeli: This was a 5 star dish for me! It was a perfectly balanced work of art with the delicious filling and bun and the pomegranate and peanuts on top. Super fresh and so so delicious. I would absolutely return just for that- my favorite dish here!! (Feb, 2026) -Sev Puri: This was good. the fried potato on the cracker was fresh and I really liked the sauce mix on it with tamarind. It reminded me a little bit of the filling in Trinidadian doubles. We asked for yogurt on the side. -Pav Bhaaji: This was good but my least favorite dish here. I think probably just because of how amazing the others are though. This one also contains clarified butter which I don't typically eat. I liked it with the lime and raw onions added to the curry. -Vada Pav : This was my favorite from today's dishes! I loved the perfectly fried spicy green chili pepper in it. I wish I didn't eat that whole chilli pepper in one bite because I wanted more when it was gone. My husband experienced it the same way. He also noted how fluffy the potato was inside like mashed potato. This was perfect for sharing since there were two. This dish is native to Maharashtra. - Aloo tiki chaat : This was good. the fried potato patty reminded me a tad of a potato latke. Toppings were good and included mint. We asked for yogurt on the side Both times we sat on the patio and enjoyed a relaxed dinner. When we came in May they were very nice to check if we were happy with spice level or wanted more spice and talked to us about the food. They seemed passionate about it and It made for a really fun and interesting experience. When we came in February, we had less engagement with staff. A couple things I would like to note: 1. They add a service fee of 10% on bills without notifying the costumer. The first time I went, since they didn't notify me of that before I paid or gave me a detailed bill, I left a tip over that total amount that already included 10%. I do think it should be communicated to customers in advance. When I realized this and pointed it out to them they did refund it. The second time I remembered there was a fee but I noticed it was still not communicated to me a head of ordering. I don't appreciate that business practice of hidden fees and that is the reason I lowered to 4 stars. The food itself is 5 stars for me. 2. I would not recommend their pop ups for people with severe allergies. I was hoping and still hope they eventually transition the restaurant to Indian or add a regular Indian menu. Especially since there is only one restaurant in the Tucson area that serve south indian food (Spice Garden Indian Cuisine in Marana) . I have yet to try the mediterranean food here aside from a complimentary baklava in May which was not my favorite. Sounds like the two current owners bought the business sometimes around January 2025 and I am curious (and really hope ) to see the Indian dishes become a more regular part of the menu on a daily basis. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
