In January 2026, we were having new quartz countertops installed and needed a sink. Normally, we would have just ordered something online and called it a day. Instead, we decided to visit the Kohler store, where we met Meika--and that decision made all the difference. First, her product knowledge was exceptional. She showed us the Billings workstation sink, a model I had seen online but likely would not have purchased on my own. In person, it was clear it was the perfect choice: beautiful color, smart design, and an exact fit for our cabinet. But the real test came on installation day. While installing the countertops, the installer noticed a scratch inside the sink that we hadn't seen before. We were scheduled to leave for a trip the following week and assumed we'd have to delay the entire install and wait for a replacement--an expensive and frustrating scenario. I called Meika, and she immediately took ownership of the problem. Within minutes, she set a solution in motion. Despite the fact that Kohler's East Coast offices were closing in 15 minutes, she somehow arranged for a brand-new replacement sink to be delivered to our home, on site, within two hours that same day. We were absolutely amazed. That level of service, urgency, and advocacy simply does not happen when ordering online. Meika turned what could have been a major disruption into a seamless, stress-free experience. If you're considering a kitchen or bath remodel, do yourself a favor and visit the Kohler Store in Irvine--and ask for Meika Mack. This is what exceptional customer service looks like.

My team, Danny, Ryan, Luis, Jose, John, Erik, Shane, and Emad were wonderful. They feel like extended family after being a part of my home for the past months. They are kind, thoughtful, professional and they do an awesome clean up at the end of each day. My foreman, Chris, makes it all come together. He is a perfectionist. I love that! If something isn't right, he takes care of it. So Phase Three is next. Stay tuned. They will be giving me a new master bedroom and bath. However, I strongly do not recommend using their referred delivery service, 123 Moving. 123 Moving was recommended by the RH Outlet store since they don't offer delivery for large furniture purchases. I contacted 123 Moving by text to arrange a home delivery just a few miles from the store. From the start, their quoted price was on the high side, but I was open to discussing it.Unfortunately, the owner's attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wasn't even trying to lowball the service, yet he responded with a "take it or leave it" tone. When I offered a fair and reasonable price, he said they could deliver but only curbside -- meaning I'd have to carry the furniture inside myself. After that, he simply stopped replying altogether. This kind of customer service deserves zero stars. A professional owner could have handled this so much better -- even a simple "let me see what I can do" would have shown respect and effort. In the end, I went with another delivery company also referred by RH Outlet, and they were excellent -- great communication, fair pricing, and reliable service.Thumbs down for 123 Moving.

I had a Tesla wall charger installed back in 2016 when I got my first Tesla S (best car I ever owned). Since EVs were still fairly new to the market back then, I went with a local Tesla "approved" electrician to install the Tesla branded charger. After paying a fairly steep price to have it installed, they dutifully installed their company sticker on the inside of the box. Fast forward ten years and a fault occurred in the charger, which should have tripped the breaker. Unfortunately, the "approved installer" did a faulty install with a 100 amp breaker that literally blew out the back of the breaker (see pic) and fried the charger. I called the original electrician, and they obviously did not want to troubleshoot their install or change out the unit, wanting $275 just to eyeball it before any work was done. Enter Mark and Leo from Fixacal, who I used for a main panel replacement. Just as in their previous work, Mark and Lei showed up when they said they would and installed a new Tesla universal charger, while correcting the wiring and breakers to properly protect everything. This tag team showed up with fully equipped trucks meticulously laid out with tools and equipment outlined on the van's walls--very impressive. As an old shop teacher, I was naturally curious about how the work was progressing, and they actually enjoyed showing me how it was going and the failed parts. Most contractors don't want to be bothered with customers asking questions. If I was an apprentice electrician, these are the guys I would want for mentors. As the end of the job, I heard a strange noise from the garage, and it was Mark using a Dyson floor vacuum to leave the garage floor pristine! If you want a job done right the first time with exceptional workmanship, for a very fair price, Fixacal should be your go to. Also, you won't have to worry years down the road whether the job was done correctly.

Due to Yelp's maximum words rule, this review has been largely shorten…read more Can't say enough good things about the Builderwell team- They're a one-stop solution, and have done an excellent job for our just-under-800sq.ft DADU project in Irvine, and kept everything transparent over the Buildertrend App. In a golden triangle, where only 2 of 3 can be picked, Builderwell leans heavily towards "time efficiency" and "built quality". The ADU build is summarized into two general phase and one extra phase for us: Phase 1 = Arash the architect led the way on the planning, from 2D architecture drawings to 3D renderings; after the city approved to break ground, Alan the lead builder & team took care of the foundation & structure of the build, this phase was finished under 6mo., between Dec '24 till April '25. Phase 2 = Mahroo the interior designer led the way on the interior design, she provides further interior design & parts sourcing, that pieces everything else together inside the DADU once phase 1 was finished. Ariyan the project leader also helps greatly to sort out the communications between us & his team. This phase was finished under 3mo., even with much changes in the details such as appliances, between May '25 to August '25, including final inspections from the city. Phase 3 = Consider this icing on the cake, and optional phase that includes landscaping and utilities around the DADU in the backyard, as well as front yard touch ups. I've also hired 3rd party inspection which Builderwell 100% complied and made extra corrections thereafter. This last phase was finished under 3mo., between Sept '25 to Nov '25. Apolo1 inc was contracted to replace our flooring and drywall due to a leak. There was moisture…read moredamage in a large portion of our flooring and walls and Richard (Mouhiddin Hajjar) was contracted to dry, and replace the damaged areas. He showed up late and needed to be called and reminded to show up (said he had an emergency but clearly was sleepy and surprised by the text and phone call). He and his team dried and replaced the flooring but neglected to replace any of the damaged drywall. He was abrupt, rude, and rushed the job leaving wet painted baseboards with a vent covering the wet area. After the job was completed and they had left I had to move the washing machine to find that damaged drywall remained and had been painted over to hide the damage. We tested the walls with a moisture detector and had to hire another company to remove and replace the drywall of several walls along with treating mold and moisture. When asked about replacing any drywall he stated that we "caught it in time" and the water only moved outward to the floor. The contract clearly stated drywall as needed. There was no way he tested the drywall for moisture. Do not trust this business as they cut corners, hide, and lie to their customers.
