Ken has been cutting my hair for over 2 years and he's done a fantastic job every time, even when I have weird/trendy ideas I want to try! What I have appreciated the most is that he always remembers the small details and what helps me looking professional and cleaned up. They have a great selection of products too, and he's been great about explaining what makes sense for me hair type and style. Highly recommend if you're looking for great quality, consistency, and value.

For years I've heard of E.L.F (stands for eyes, lips, face) from various beauty magazines and other…read morebeauty bloggers singing their praises. Last year I decided to give them a try buy purchasing few of their items to try...I have to admit for the money you really can't go wrong. The company was founded in 2004 in Oakland, CA and the purpose is to seek high quality cosmetic and beauty products; sell them at an affordable price point. As a result most of their items sell for about $3-$6. Of course companies like Consumer Report have been reporting for years that the $36 shampoo and the $25 mascara that you buy does the same thing that the $1.00 Suave does or the $3.00 Maybelline...which by the way is super model Cindy Crawford's favorite mascara https://www.townandcountrymag.com/style/beauty-products/g26132693/cindy-crawford-skin-care-routine/ Allure magazine wrote an article recently on celebrities' favorite drug store brands here https://www.allure.com/gallery/celebrities-favorite-drugstore-products I think there is some kind of psychological thing where we feel that if it's $3.00 then it must be inferior when in reality the $25.00 mascara is probably made in the same factory as the $3.00 but it's slap with different label....I read a while back that Christian Dior makes Sephora's house brand make-up which makes sense since they're owned by the same company.. You can find E.L.F. items at all your favorite discount places like Walmart, Target, Ulta beauty, CVS and Walgreens....check their website for more retail locations https://www.elfcosmetics.com/store-locator Right now their stock is trading about $9 and change....the company is really healthy financially.......both short terms and long term. In fact they've ramped up their profits by 47% from last year. They have seasoned executives running the company...the Current CEO hails his way from Clorox and Schiff nutrition...and they have a strong overseas market....worth checking out if you're looking for an undervalue stock....

She talked me into coming to get a facial and I had no idea what to expect. It's been years since I had a facial. KK was suppose to do my facial, but wasn't available so CiCi (or spelt CeCe) took care of me instead. Yo! The facial hurt like hell! Had me tearing up, lol. It was painful, but my face felt so nice and clean afterwards! CiCI was very nice and sweet. She was honest and very knowledgeable. She showed me the paper with my ugly pores and gunk, lol. It was disgusting. We even joked around a bit too! I have a lot of tattoos and I mentioned how the facial hurts more than getting a tattoo, lol. But the massage was very comfortable and relaxing. The entire process was overall excellent and I enjoyed it. I caught myself dozing off a few times. Yes, my face was red after but also glowing. CiCi also said that I have some skin tags she can pluck or laser them off next time. She mentioned there is numbing cream which I'll probably need. I heard it's painful, lol. I'm scared. But I'll have to come see CiCi again soon! Thank you! Highly recommend! I can't say how much it was because I don't even know since it was my mom's treat.

What I love about Beauty Legend is that the staff is amazing -- knowledgeable, evaluating your skin and explaining what is being done and what is recommended. No pushy sales, no pushy products -- just simply caring for your skin and recommending what would work for your skin type! As the facials are solely dependent on your skin type -- the focus caters to the person. For me, my facial started with steam, exfoliating, extraction of black heads and pores, following a neck and head massage. And then, masking and hydration. Products used are hydrating for my skin. I also had other areas that I wanted to focus on my skin and my concerns were addressed and treatments were recommended. The whole treatment and process was incredible -- the extractions did hurt but it was necessary and my skin feels so much cleaner and better. I truly trust KK and Cece and I appreciate their kindness and care when it comes to my skin. Looking forward to my next treatment -- worth the wait and totally worth the drive! Definitely deserves more recognition; small space but filled with lots of wisdom and experience in the beauty industry; love and care for your skin; such a hidden gem! I found this place through Yelp and I was surprised because I've drove past it at least 1k times…read more The cosmetics store sits in the parking lot of KP Asian market but you can't see the entrance from the street so it's easy to miss. Once you pull around the back there's a decent sized building with cosmetics, skincare, hair care and home goods (think pots, pans, serving trays, utensils, EVERYTHING). The cosmetics section has a ton of Korean skincare, makeup, and masks for the face, hands, and feet. Even hair care and mens products. I love the variety, I spent over an hour testing, smelling and browsing. Some advice before going: know your skin type, know what skin problem you want to solve, and set a budget. Their Korean skincare products range from $10-$60+ each. I splurged on moisturizer ($100 for 2) and got a less expensive skin peel ($20) and toner pads ($10). The rest I spend on 6 masks and the total was $149. The woman at the counter listened to my skin issues and recommended products based on our short conversation. I've had zero issues with what she recommended. The toner pads broke me out, but SURPRISE the woman suggested twice I choose a different product and I didn't listen. I'm goin to check out their exchange policy and will update after!

The stylists/barbers seem fine, but you can get the same cut and support a small locally owned shop for better service and price. I used to treat my kid to an occasional cut here back when Luis used to work here and the prices were better. He was great! He listened, asked questions and just seemed genuine. He was such a light that I was able to see through the insufferable dense fog of hipster pretension that fills this space. I took my kid in a couple days back. An appointment was coldly made. I had to redirect the stylist several times and he almost left my kid with this weird mullet like thing that looked nothing like the pic I showed. Sure, the texture of my kid's hair is different from the pic, but he didn't ask any questions or point out how that could be problematic (and to be real, the cut could have been possible ). Then we opted for a shorter cut. The stylist was responsive and I could tell that he wanted us to be happy. He seemed to rush through and he took 40 minutes from start to finish including the redos. Finally we checked out with an acceptable cut that my kid was happy with. When I go to check out, it turns out that this all comes out to a full price adult haircut! This didn't seem right. Still, I paid and tipped the full amount. When I came home and looked at the website, the full haircut was supposed to come with shampoo/condition, beverage, hot towel and all the usual stuff that everyone else who paid full price get. My kid didn't get no organic juice, and mama wasn't offered any whiskey. What we got was an average kid's cut. I would love for the price to be adjusted so that's what I pay, stylist can keep the full tip amount because I'm not even sure that he knew it wasn't a kid's cut. I called and asked for that, and they offered to give me five freaking dollars. So now, I will rage post this review everywhere and get over it.

They have screwed me over in every way possible to make sure I do not get my meds on time, or at all. I'm on some severe medications that make withdrawal unbearable and leaving me feeling suicidal. But they truly don't care. I'll share some incidents I've experienced with this store. - They constantly do partial refills without ever notifying. Not once have they informed me of this. NOT ONCE! - Although I live only a few blocks away, I had to start paying DoorDash to deliver my meds because every time I went to the pharmacy in person it was always closed. Didn't matter the time! One week I went to the pharmacy 10am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 5:30pm - closed every time. Only DoorDash could get access so I was forced to pay for delivery to even get my meds at all. - The delivery used to be 1-2 day shipping but they stopped that, yet did not remove it from their website/app. I tried to get my meds shipped the next day and they arrived a week later. When I complained, they took zero accountability and just blamed FedEx. They did NOT care that the 1-2 days shipping they promised for came 7 days later. - They never refill my meds on time or pharmacy access is unavailable. I would NEVER consensually stop taking my meds. But I was forced to stop due to non-stop their negligence. Every single time that I've needed a refill for about the last year, they have been late. I always have to endure 2-4 days of very severe withdrawal symptoms and suicidal ideation every time I need a med refill, all thanks to Walgreen's! - I needed an emergency refill and they filled 2 of the 4 at my local store and then sent the other 2 to some mail-order service, which I did not know existed, which I did not consent to, and my provider sent the prescription to the store, not the mail-order service. I also got ZERO notice that my meds were going through mail-order. Walgreen's never contacted me about it. No tracking number. No delivery confirmation. Just nothing. Also - I NEVER RECEIVED THE MEDS!!! They were shipped over a month ago. And again, they just blamed the mail carrier and took zero accountability for sending off my meds - that I needed immediately - to a mail-order service out of state without my consent, instead of the store like my provider has asked because it was urgent. I still never got those meds. And I doubt I ever will. I was told insurance wouldn't cover another refill and they hung up on me. Nobody cared to even try to resolve the issue. They're totally fine with me not getting my meds. I keep saying it, but it's true, they take ZERO accountability for their mistakes, so they don't feel the need to resolve them. Which they don't resolve. Just tell me to calm down and hang up or transferring me in a circle while nobody offers me any solutions. Just a really cruel "not my problem" attitude from every person I speak with. I wish every single pharmacist could experience the pain of withdrawal and wanting to end their lives. Because maybe they might care. Doubtful. I think these people have lost all empathy and are incapable of caring about whether people live or die. If you take meds that are required for your healthcare, DO NOT trust Walgreen's ever!! Definitely not this store but the whole company is corrupt. They have lost all trust and respect from me and I hope that this evil corporation goes out of business soon. I miss the locally owned pharmacies. They would actually care about people's wellbeing, not be rude and uncaring, take accountability for their mistakes, find solutions, and not put me through the wringer in the first place. Walgreen's is the epitome of what's wrong with American healthcare. They don't care about you at all. They can't even be paid to care. I don't think there's enough money in the world to get this company to do anything right. It's that messed up and dysfunctional. Their negligence should be illegal. I will be celebrating the day this store closes and the day Walgreen's gets purchased by a venture capital firm, gets all their assets stripped, and goes out of business forever. They deserve the worst in return for what they put their customers through. This corporation is corrupt and cruel.

If I wanted to move forward with the other surgeries, they should follow. He advised that a quote would be emailed, which never arrived. I called the office the following week and the receptionist made excuses for the business manager, who was to forward the quote. She'll be back in the office Monday and you'll receive the details then, yet no email arrived. I called a week later and my calls (phone number) had, apparently, been programmed to go sraight to voicemail automatically. I understand that Dr. Chin didn't want to move forward, but why wouldn't he simply just say this during the consultation, e.g., 'I don't believe you're a good candidate for this procedure.' or 'I don't think I'm the right doctor to proceed with this. Let me recommend someone else.'?? In fact, he ended the consultation with "Yes, we can definitely do this. The front desk will provide a quote and schedule, if you want to proceed." Based on this experience, he and his front desk staff were lieing to my face (and ears), which was both frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. If Dr. Chin didn't want to do it, he should just say so and/or have his staff advise. At least, he could show a little respect for others. He should not take people's money (the consultation fee isn't cheap), then lie to them and have your staff lie, as well. If you want an MD like this, he'll happily take your money! I'd rather trust my surgeon, one with integrity and basic respect for potential clients (patients).
