What didn't go well? You want to meet a group of people that make you feel wanted and like family…read more Did you know their company comes with a lifetime, transferable warranty, if your girl or boy throws a baseball into the window, tell them the truth, and they will replace it free of charge screens as well. If you get a little tantrum attack because you're mad at something or someone and you throw a lot rock at the window, they'll replace it free of charge. Mattew Stebbins has told me he loves his job, and the people he works with. Apparently he still owns a supper club but used to own many other restaurants. And then he's got this guy I asked him today who's your alter ego and he said Vincent you know Michael Jackson and the thriller. These are good honest people. Too bad the rest of the world wasn't like this company. I need to meet the owner because when you got somebody at the top with good people underneath now you know they got the Holy Spirit and they're not going to screw you. Yes you might pay more than other companies, ask them what their warranty is, is it transferable if I sell my home? What quality materials do you use and why? They'll answer everything and not skip a beat. Thank you Matthew, and thank you my alter Ego person Vincent. Lol Madison windows and baths Rock! You cannot go wrong. Matt will treat you better than your own son.

Incredibly rude and pushy sales tactics, used every trick in the book (need to call my boss, will…read moregive you a discount for a sign in the yard, for agreeing right now etc...) wouldn't let my husband go to work, kept insisting just a few more minutes. No break down of "discounts" or prices, quoted a range which they then went WAY above. To top it off they installed the tub crooked. Overall terrible experience and not worth even half the price we paid, very disappointed. Use anyone else.

Over six months after my project had wrapped, I received the "final invoice" with really no excuse as to why it took so long to get that final billing. Great work by the crew (especially Clark), not so terrific accounting practices.

After speaking with a handful of reputable contractors in the Madison area, we chose Allen Kitchen…read more& Bath (AKB) based on a referral from a friend who had their kitchen recently remodeled. We had our first meeting with Kathy (Interior Designer) within a few days of contacting them. She came out to our home, talked with us about our needs and ideas, and took rough measurements right then and there so she could get started on renderings, material selection, and planning. Within a week, we were in her office reviewing a detailed, accurate work order that was nearly spot-on with our vision -- and at a price lower than we had anticipated! After answering what must have been a million questions from us over the next week or two (and letting us review other materials in the showroom), we came almost full circle back to Kathy's original design. Kathy was patient, kind, and quick to address all our needs as we worked through the initial planning process. Once we officially signed with AKB, it was less than a month before our project was scheduled and the dumpster arrived. Our lead carpenter, Pat, arrived the following morning and got to work right away. Outside of the electrician and plumbers, Pat was our main tradesperson for the project--from tear-out to tiling, he was skilled in all areas. Since I work from home, I was able to greet Pat each morning and talk over the day's work. He also showed a great deal of patience and kindness as I asked questions about the project, materials, techniques, and more. And since he was here for over a month, I got to learn more about him and his family. It was genuinely nice having him here each morning, putting his years of experience to work as he rebuilt our bathroom from the ground up. His dedication to his trade truly speaks for itself--our bathroom turned out amazing! Overall, we are very pleased with our remodeling experience with Allen Kitchen & Bath. Everyone we interacted with was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. Our bathroom turned out better than we could have imagined--the shower is our favorite part!

Gerhards has a good mixture of displace kitchen's and bathrooms. If you're looking for some ideas…read morewith your home it's definitely worth a visit. They have a large variety of Cambria Quatrz on hand. The selection of sinks and other kitchen additions covers a range of styles. So why the 4 star and not 5 stars? One a previous visit one of the staff members pretty much ignored me the entire time and was like a magnet to a few couples who were dressed all fancy and looked like they might be able to afford a kitchen make over. It was disappointing as I had cash on hand to pay $40K+ for what ever kitchen I wanted along with 4 bathrooms to update to the latest style in the future. It was their loss and I went elsewhere. To their credit, on my last 2 visits I was asked several times If I could be helped and they were very happy and would have been nice to deal with and not snobby in anyway.

Working with Nia at Gerhard's was a nightmare. She did not respond to my emails, request updates,…read moreor provide any updates. On several occasions, portions of our orders were waiting in the warehouse, and if I had not followed up on them, we would never have known. At first, we were told that the wait time for our order was six weeks, and after two months, she told us that we needed to wait six months. She expected my clients to wait 6 months for a kitchen faucet!!! We went on Amazon and purchased a similar faucet from Kohler at a lower price, which was delivered within a few days. It was a total waste of time and unprofessional behavior on her end. She definitely has much to learn about customer service. As a general contractor and a realtor, I'd never use or suggest the company to my clients.
