Lousy service. Short ride for the money. Not impressed. These folks are not real nice. The place was nearly empty and still seemed to take a long time before we wete able to race. Then the time itself is extremely short for what you pay for. read more

So much fun. Mia is the best employee ever! Take everyone you know here! The facility was clean, the go karts were fast and my kids were occupied for a good chunk of the day! read more

Paid in advance online for 3 races each for 3 people. Had the first race for two adults in about 30 minutes after arriving, then had to wait for nearly 2 more hours before getting cycled back in for the next race. Really long waits, large group events will suck up all the attention so if you just show up for a family activity you can expect to be cycled to the bottom of the list again and again. After two hours of watching the same groups that arrived after us, we asked again to some rude response that we had not been forgotten and we would race soon. Spent more than 4 hours on site to complete 3 races. Bathrooms reminded me of a port a potty at a three day rock festival. Pack an extra portion of patience. read more

Bought two races here that came with a year membership and a T-shirt. The races were long and the service was great! It was moderately packed and the wait was less than 30 minutes. Two races was worth the price because you can always save the other one for another time. The only downside was that you're racing time not against others. read more

Fun, but pretty expensive! Like $50/person for a couple of races, not sure why you have to buy a "membership".

Awesome date night when you get the deal on groupon! (normal prices are STEEP) We had a blassst on our date night last weekend here. The inside is insanely quiet for the number of go karts going around, and the AC was awesome! Not having to fight the crazy texas heat and bugs on ourdoor karts was AWESOME! Definitely recommend the groupon deal though, because otherwise the prices seem too high to be worth it. Our first race was like our "practice/learning race" so I kinda wish we had 2 others after it, but we still had a blast! read more

Super fun, once I got the hang of driving with both feet! Reasonable prices for racing, although the snack bar is a little lacking. Clean and comfortable area for resting in between races. A great place for a family outing! read more

We've been here about 5 times. A couple times with just 2 racers and once with a large group. Everyone always has a blast! Facility is clean, staff is friendly and it's great entertainment. Betty the manager is especially great, helping me out when she really didn't have to. And did it with a smile on her face. I highly recommend experiencing this at least once! read more

Been coming to K1 karting since March of this year my son Ashton loves this place. Staff is great and the manger always comes and says hello and thanks us for coming by. The karts are very, very fast , and if you have never been before it's a blast. I highly recommend this place . read more

Very clean location, and visibly nicer than any outdoor go kart track I have ever visited. They take active measures for safety and the people at the front desk were very friendly. Those running the tracks and supervising seemed a little less than enthusiastic. I found a Groupon and got a steep discount to try it out. Enjoyed myself, but would never pay full price for the races. It's really expensive per race and it would be very pricey if you took a family without a discount. They have a snack bar (didn't check the prices since I ate beforehand) and a few arcade games as well. The karts have some serious kick and were a thrill to drive. read more

K1 speed was a great time, the crew was extremely helpful and Professional, cars were much faster than expected. Charles was very helpful. Will be back agaIn. read more

Was expecting the karts to go a little faster... but overall it was really fun, I had a great time.

PLEASE READ IF THIS IS YOUR 1ST TIME GOING TO K1 SPEED: I decided to take my nephew and niece to K1 and checked prices online before I left. We decided to do 2 races per person so I was prepared to pay around $120. When we arrived, I was asked if it was our 1st time to K1. Since it was, I was informed they charge each person a $7 membership fee on top of the race fee which tacked on an extra $21. Pretty outrageous in my opinion. I told him I didn't want to pay a membership fee and he proceeded to tell me it was mandatory. A few days later, I called to speak to the manager and she confirmed that if it's your 1st time, you will get charged a membership fee per person. As far as the track and cars go, I felt it was safe and a very controlled environment. We had a couple spin outs during our race and our cars were slowed down for everyone's safety. All in all, we had a good time, but felt the need to warn future K1 goers of the sneaky membership fee. read more

Very disappointed with K1 today! We live over an hour away so we called beforehand to see if we could make a reservation. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to make a reservation because we only had 4 people and they require a minimum of 8. But they said to "come on by, it's pretty empty in here" so we loaded up and headed there. Upon arrival the worker told us there would be a minimum of an hour and a half wait (the place closed in two hours) due to a big event they were having. Obviously we were confused because we were told on the phone there was no wait, and upon arrival there was a big bachelor party going on...overall poor communication and a wasted drive. Wished they would have checked the schedule and told us a big party was about to happen. read more

The best part of the experience was how Tori was. The worst part was racing with Bill Bailey. Please be careful and don't race with bill. He will short change you like 6 laps out of what you pay, he's so damn fast. I didn't know he was racing and he short changed our group 4 laps and 2 of mine. Damn you bill!!!! Lol. Tori and the rest of the staff were amazing though. I'd recommend it but it can get pricey. Avoid bill and any other pros! They will mess your times and laps up! read more

Had a great experience taking my twin boys here. The staff were extremely helpful with getting us signed up and ready to ride! We will be back read more

The facility was very clean and well-kept. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The downside is the cost. There is a seven dollar fee to get your license"and then about $20 per race. there is only one course and the $20 fee covers 14 laps in that course. read more

I took a group of folks to this facility and we enjoyed it immensely, clean, and the cars ran really well. I almost went to pole position in Frisco for $25 MORE per person, GLAD i didn/t, the karts here are faster, and they let you race!! I will continue to make the trip from Frisco to Richardson with our group!! Top notch!! read more

Amazing time!!!! Came for a team builder!! The equipment works great! Friendly staff. Will definitely recommend this place.

Karts here are quick if you can post a lap time that qualifies you to get access to full speed (it's not terribly difficult to do that). Prices are a bit steep and I had some inconsistencies between karts with regard to handling and braking but overall, they are faster than other indoor go karts. Staff is active about flagging drivers which helps with passing. Worthy of a solid 4 star rating. read more

THE K1 team did an amazing job with us. Shae and Charles were very friendly and welcome my team and I with open arms. The facility is awesome, very clean, and I will come back if I come back to the area. read more

I highly recommend this place, I had a lot of fun and the staff were always cool. They also play good songs, so you can enjoy the whole experience. This place is super cool. read more

Amazing place to bring friends and family the stuff here will take care of you for sure 100% recommend

I've been to several K1's and went for the first time this weekend. I would've left 5 stars cause I love this business but the GoKart I hopped in had NO BRAKES. They were completely shot. Totally unsafe, and if it would've been my first time at a K1, I don't think I would've come back. I let 3 team members know about the brakes and none of them seemed too terribly worried- I was a little surprised by that. My second race the Kart I was in had full on brakes so it was much better. However, the track there has too many turns and not enough straights. Most of the other K1's I've been don't take as much a toll on your body like this track. Hopefully they'll update the track later on, with more awareness from management, I think this K1 will be another hit. read more

Great experience, short wait time, friendly staff. I took my 10 year old nephew and he had a blast!!! read more

K1 Speed Dallas - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Richardson, Texas

Track is technical and challenges you! Had a blast with my family when I went. Can't believe the karts go 45 mph and they're electric! The staff was super helpful, explaining each step in from the moment we walked in to grabbing our lap times at the end of the race. Love that your races never expire so I can buy a package and choose when I want to use them.. I will definitely be back to try to lower my time! read more

First time for me on these things and it was Awesome ! Once wasn't enough so had to race 2 times,, I was beat each time but it was still fun. I would highly recommend it. read more

My Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids visiting from California came in yesterday because my youngest loves these race car tracks and we go to them all the time. My youngest is exactly at the 48" mark for the minimum height to drive. Instead of letting him ride we go to the pit where the cars are and she asks another teenager if he can ride. The kid running the pit puts him in the car and asks him to push the pedals (which he does just fine) then he asks him to turn the wheel while its stationary which would be difficult for my 9 year old. The young girl comes back and says that he can't ride because he is too short and his legs are fully extended and if he gets in a wreck he will break his legs. Hmmm, if 48" is the minimum height then you would know his legs are going to be fully extended. If having legs fully extended is a risk of "breaking your legs" then maybe you should raise the minimum height. Needless to say we didn't stay. Management might want to review their policies with their young staff. A very empty racetrack that 5 riders would have loved to patronize, Instead $300 walked out the door with the little guy in tears. read more

This was not my first time at K1 Speed and I know that the carts are way faster than they were tonight. One person was ruining the race for everyone. I understand it is a safety policy to slow all the carts down but this was too far. Our carts were up to speed for maybe 1 whole lap. A 30 second average is not normal. I would give this 0 stars but I can't. read more

Unprofessional staff, extremely long waits, and pretty expensive. We were told it would be an hour, which already seems pretty long, and then wait closer to two hours (without any notice from the staff) read more

My 9 year old daughter thinks this place rocks! First time here and she already wants to take lessons to get even faster!

My grandson loves this place. We come here as often as we can. He lives the go karts. They present a challenge for him. The staff is terrific. They are friendly, caring, and just down right good people. This is favorite in our book. read more

I have go carted many times in the past but this was my first time to k1 speed. This place is awesome. Great service, pricing is competitive to other go carting places in the metroplex, and the environment was amazing. Very clean. Cart were well maintained. Speed, handling was right there on every kart I drove. Track was well maintained and very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I stopped by here with a buddy Friday. I'm all about DKC and had low expectations for this place due to the karts being electric, but these things got some umph to them. The staff was really nice. I'll be coming back again. read more

Took the family for the first time to a place that was strictly for go karts with speed. Had a blast with my kids. It's a little pricey but worth it. The staff was very helpful and explained everything you need to know before getting into a go kart. Will definitely do it again!! read more
