Pros: The kiddie cars go pretty fast and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it. And the cars are electric so no fumes. Cons: If there is a kids birthday party, those kids have priority over walk-ins (as they should), so be prepared to wait. And wait. There is only one track so they let adults ride, then kids ride. And when you mix in birthday parties, you could be there for hours if you bought more than one race package. Because you don't get to do your races one after the other. Go Karts are definitely fun and worth the money however don't expect to race without your ID if you buy your ticket online. Also you have to buy a race on your birthday to receive a free one, terms not listed on the email they send with the offer. These are the only 2 things I've encountered where they left out key terms, I'm sure there's more. Out of the 7 trips I've taken to K1speed, 2 I've had to leave without even racing, leaving me to a pointless 30 minute ride home. read more

As a person who has been to Andretti's and a person who has never passed up a good go-kart experience I can tell you that K-1 speedway is a cut above the rest. We booked a private party, which was nice considering that all the people on the track were people that we knew and the competition was fierce. Let me first say that for our 50 dollar a head price tag, we got a practice race and then a grid started actual race based on the fastest lap times in the qualifier or practice round. The competitive one in me was on edge and it was like i was 14 again. This is the spot lives by a golden rule, do something well; they do go cart racing and then there is a small arcade in the corner, but nothing but go carts. Honestly, this track doesn't disappoint, it's stupid fun! I was concerned to see that all the cars were electric, cause then they do not tend to be very fast, however, they are super fast for electric carts and without a doubt have gas power without the harmful fumes! Also, they have a flag system and motorcycle helmets all in all its really a fun and unique go cart track. There is a video board to keep up with lap times and to let you know how you are stacking up with your competitors. After our final race they printed lap times, splits, and standings for our entire group and awarded medals for first, second, and third place! Want a fun racing experience don't pass on this opportunity. We were there for a friends birthday party and I really think an awesome time was had by all! Now for the reason its four stars and not five, first, its fifty bucks, its not cheap to do the format we did for our private party. So honestly its not on the list of frequent things to do, second, the way they load cars seems to be strange, they put you in a head sock, then a motorcycle helmet, and then you sit for 15 minutes waiting for your race to start! Beyond that this place is top notch whether you are a old kid or a young one! As more of an FYI, they seem to get slammed, as we were leaving the crowd was forming so around 830 on Friday it seems like a hopping place to be. Close toed shoes are required so don't forget that! They also have a small, movie theatre style snack bar which seemed reasonably priced, although I can't comment on the food as I did not partake. Give them a shot! read more

K1 Speed gets a point for no fumes since the karts are electric. This is great! Having fun while not killing my lungs from the fumes at a gasoline powered go kart facility. Also, the karts being electric does not negatively impact the speed. Another plus is that they have a reverse gear on their karts, but only newbies who spin out and hit barriers need that ;). But this is definitely a plus for the track attendants who don't have to risk their safety as much by running out on the track, dodging 35+ mph karts to pull you out of a barrier. On a busy day, the wait can be very long(2+ hours). They don't give you an actual time slot like Andretti's, so you don't really know when you're going to race. You have to just wait to hear your name through their muffled intercom, where you have to strain to hear if your name is called over the loud karts blazing past your ears. There really is nothing else to do but eat their overpriced snacks and lounge on their couches. Unfortunately, when we went their on during a Saturday afternoon, they said that they were out of pizza? Really? It's a Saturday afternoon and one of the very few items that you sell that could pass as a meal is now unavailable? You're not even going to mention if you have more in the oven or not? So let me rephrase the first sentence of this paragraph. The only thing to do while you wait to race is lounge on their couches and MAYBE grab some overpriced snacks if they feel like actually trying to sell you some. We ended up getting a pretzel that tasted like cardboard. I will say that the prices for the races here are a few bucks cheaper than competitors like Andretti's, but it all depends on whether you're looking for a fun family outing for the afternoon(Andretti Indoor Karting and Games would be the better choice), or just looking to get a race or two in and leave(K1 Speed would be the better choice). Since this location is still very brand new, I'd be curious to see how the karts still handle/drive once there is more wear and tear put on them. Overall, the actual race itself made it a fun time. Food was meh. Front counter service was okay. Track attendant service was great. read more

Don't bother if you've either A) been to Andretti's before, B) can legally drive your own car by yourself or C) actually care to be competitive against your friends. You could have a more enjoyable experience doing a foot race in the parking lot where the K1 staff can't control your kart and kill the experience. If someone else bumps your car, the staff cuts your car's power to an infuriating level. Someone on the other side of the track spins out? Same thing. Not uncommon to spend numerous laps on limp mode. If i were interested in going 5mph around a track in n electric car, i could have gone to a bumper car course. Won't be returning. 2/10 would not bang. read more

I took the family to have a good time racing karts, when we arrived it took the hostess 20 min to let us know the wait was an hour to an hour and a half. We left and I have no desire to go back because we drove from Marietta, GA. Looked like fun but who has an hour to an hour and a half to wait to ride a go kart. Im over it but the kids were disappointed. There wasn't that many people in the building to justify such a long wait. read more

Great place to work on your basic driving/racing skills. The karts are maintained incredibly well (especially for how hard and how often they are driven poorly/carelessly) management and track workers do a great job of monitoring and teaching not only the novice drivers, but also the experienced drivers, how to have a fun and safe race environment. The friendly environment from the staff and other racers, as well as the time trial format, rather than a race position format makes, self improvement the goal... which becomes the most addictive part. read more

The overall experience with the cars was fun. I marked down stars because there were very few covid precautions/cleanliness so be wary if you are trying to be covid safe. It was also impossible to get through on the phone. The staff was not wearing masks and then kept asking our group to get close together so they could explain directions as they yelled without masks- I'm not comfortable with that. Many groups of people came in without masks and if you don't have a helmet, you'll be sharing with those people. The bathrooms were gross- out of paper towels and the toilets were unflushed and covered in toilet paper- so clearly bathroom checks are not being done. I tried to get through on the phone to make a reservation beforehand and it kept giving me a busy tone instead of their voicemail. I tried to call the corporate office, they never got back to me. I sent an email, they never got back to me. read more

This is the best place for go karting. The carts are nice and its clean inside. The karts are electric and have instant speed. I have to say the staff is much better from when I first went there has been definitely a focus on customer service. Id go more often if it was more convenient for me to get to. read more

This place is definitely fun! They use electric ones as opposed to gas powered. I'm 50/50 on that end because I do like the noise the gas powered ones give off. Just feels more real. But the instant power the electric motor gives on these is great as well. If you come on the weekend you can expects long wait. At least an hour. Held a corporate event here and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and customer service by everyone at the facility but especially Elaina. She is the shift supervisor and took care of our event as well as managing the rest of the facility. I was so impressed with her. She made sure we had everything we needed and was so accommodating and professional. If there were more Elainas in the event planning world, we'd be able to enjoy the experience rather than stress about it which seems to be the norm these days. Thank you again for everything! May be 5 stars honestly but this is my first indoor kart racing experience. That being said it was really a fantastic experience! Karts were well maintained. Facilities, including the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to have our company event! I went over the weekend a surprise party for my husband. Our group consisted of 22 of which 11 raced. Our group consisted of a 72 year old down to our smallest which was 15 and 4' 11" tall. This being said meant she needed a booster seat as well as pedal extenders. Everyone there was pleasant and willing to help with this task once she was placed in a car. They went over the flags with us then we proceeded to the practice laps as well as the qualifying laps. For those that didn't want to race they had comfortable couches to sit and watch as well as pub tables located around the front of the track so they could watch their group. We had the track to ourselves since we were a larger group. I would suggest this place for anyone that loves to race or those that just like to think outside the box.
