Lo and behold, Bella Body and Sol, in the Fairhaven end of Bellingham Washington, has two of these same special tanning booths, which they promote as "D-Light Therapy" (as in "Vitamin D"). They also have very competitive (aka generous) pricing options for tanning sessions. I've been coming here for almost 2 years, and love the results! I feel wonderful, my skin feels and looks much better, and my dermatologist and primary doc tell me: "Whatever you're doing, keep it up - your skin is much healthier, and we see no melanoma issues". Living in the Pacific Northwest, I don't always get as much sunlight as I need or want. I used to look like I visited a "paling booth" until those special 2 weeks after July 5th, when the sun comes out (just kidding - it's at least 3 weeks). I've had good and bad spray tans before, never with d-light. I conveyed that I was concerned about turning orange. Heather was so delightful and comforting. I get my spray on. I look crazy. It's purplish gray. Heather said Trust the process. I drove home. I'm streaky, I'm sticky, I'm frustrated, I'm worried. 3 hours later I shower off and I have a very light greyish tan. I was initially a little disappointed it wasn't very warm. I thought "bummer this was not worth the money." I go to sleep on it, wake up....Bronze (for me) goddess!!!!! I don't know if it was the lights I was standing in the night before or if it continued to develop overnight. It's a warm tan but not crazy and not streaky at all. I love it! Trust the process! Enter the door to the left of her home to access the path to the back where her spray tan business is (there is a sign on the door). Kelli was great at conversation and really naturally enjoyable to be around which is important given you will likely be standing in your birthday suit or close to it while you're with her! She really took her time applying and drying her spray tan solution and I loved the way it turned out. I should also mention her prices are very affordable and I paid a fraction of what I had paid in the past (a few years ago in Denver). I will definitely be back and recommend all my friends to Kelli.

Came in for the spray tan that is currently the top recommended product as far as spray tans go!…read moreThis was my first spray tan so I wasn't sure what to expect and I actually felt awkward knowing someone was going to spray me down from head to toe in the buff (most people go nude). The spray tech was great. She was super knowledgeable and very welcoming. It had a nice aroma of raspberry and almond, which I have heard that most spray tans aren't so kind on the senses. The spray tan basically works with your own PH level in you skin and darkens based on that. I opted for the PH balancing spray as well which is an additional $5 to the $35 spray tan. The PH balancing spray is supposed to benefit those with dry skin mostly to help the tan set in a little better. I generally have drier skin so I figured I would try this out. You get sprayed head to toe then dry for two minutes, then you are sprayed with a second coat and you are left to dry for five minutes then you're good to go. You can't get wet or go in the rain and have to be wary of your seatbelt rubbing on your neck post spray for 12 hours so its recommended to do this in the evening so that you have minimal disruptions to the spray tan. By the next morning I was a nice golden colour and I loved it! The colour was a nice even bronze that looked natural as if I had been blessed by the sun all summer long. I was very happy with the spray tan that I will likely return again! Located conveniently on 200th street in the plaza with the Tim Horton's and the Wendy's, across from Gold's gym. Definitely a great tan. It seems to be fading like a natural tan. No blotches or weird spots. It s the best I could ask for for a first time spray tanner. ;D
