Had the worst hairdresser I've ever had and I'm 65 years old his name is Zeke. I paid for nothing and I made an appointment to have which I was worried about I knew he would probably be weird about it and he was. I had a lot of orange bleed out on the top of my head and he said it's because I wanted chunks. Acted like I was stupid.. So he proceeded to fix it with dark color now it looks like I didn't even get my hair done. I paid $210 for this.. I also my disappointment after the and they didn't even offer anything I wouldn't go back to but they didn't offer some money off some so ladies beware if you have a lot of money to spend on not getting anything done correctly to your hair go for it otherwise run the other way from blessing salon in Fairhaven

Starting with her all natural products (yes, they really ARE all natural, unlike some others who advertise that and are filled with chemicals) the facial is pure bliss every step of the way. Did you know the skin is our largest organ? Quality skin care studios and spas do and should only want the best for your skin. Initially, I saw Melissa in her former location on Holly street but this one suits her better. It's in a shared space with other relaxation practitioners. Grab a cup of hot tea and Melissa is right there waiting for you with a warm smile. She is a very kind and gentle spirit and you can tell she sincerely cares. I did not feel rushed at all. She allows plenty of time in between appointments and will answer all of your questions. She does offer take-home products but does not try to push anything on you. You really do have to experience her facials for yourself to understand the raves. So, ladies and men time to book your facials! From Melissa's Website: "Skin is a living organism and is nourished and regenerated by whole plant ingredients that utilize nature's intelligence to heal and balance. I believe in using only simple, pure and highly energetic products in my skin treatments, which will bring life and vitality back to your skin. This is not just a facial but a holistic treatment that will truly make your skin and spirit glow!"

So happy I came across Melissa on Yelp! I was visiting Bellingham for a long weekend and managed to…read moresnag an appointment with her on a Friday afternoon. She was so kind and welcoming, and I had a lovely facial (first one in many years). She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and also spent time discussing the process/answering my questions at the end, since I definitely fell asleep for part of the session. Love that the products she uses are natural, and several local items too, like the floral water, and the argan oil, which is from her own line of products. I got some good tips on how to continue a skin care routine at home, and brought a few products home with me that I'm excited to use. It was also my first time doing energy work, and it was fun to talk to Melissa about what that was like, and learn more about this. Lastly - she gave me some great ideas for what to do with the rest of my weekend in the area (we had an awesome hike at Stimpson Family Reserve, which we wouldn't have discovered without her recommendation). I wish I lived in Bellingham so I could see Melissa regularly, so if you're reading this, please go visit her for me!

We also did not do a trial (my choice to save money), so I was putting a ton of trust in her! Thankfully, it all worked out wonderfully. I showed her some photos from Pinterest and we talked through logistics of what I wanted before she got to work. She got it done within an hour and took some time to give my mom instructions on how to insert the veil later in the day. She delivered on exactly what I wanted and helped me to feel beautiful for my wedding! My hair held up all day long (even for the after party!). She was also very sweet and made it a fun part of my day. The price was incredibly reasonable - I think it was $95 + a tip. The salon can also do makeup, which I wish I would have known because my makeup artist ended up being quite pricey and I had an issue with my eyelashes coming off right before the ceremony. Anyways, I had an AMAZING experience with this salon with ZERO complaints. 10/10 recommend!

There was none of that painful digging you find in some skin clinics, and yet somehow, she managed to remove all the little flaws that had been bothering me. My skin has been neglected for some time, as I've had many preoccupations over the past few years related to family health issues.
