I've been supporting this small company for about 4 years now, after I discovered their Corpus location while on vacation. I was super excited to find this store after I moved to San Antonio from DFW where there's a much larger Kpop scene. Plus the other main store was mostly BTS and BlackPink. The reason i'm giving them three stars is because it's so poorly hit or miss on the experience; depending on who's working. The staff here seems to have a problem with male stans. I've been a K-pop stan since 2009 with Wonder Girls, and never experienced any negativity in DFW. Here, the staff's mood immediately changes any time I enter the store without one of my female friends. They will be super happy and giggly with female customers, but the moment I approach the register (or if i'm alone) they instantly drop their mood and make it clear they don't want me in the store. I could deal with just timid or rude staff, it is what it is, but I've been denied my pre-order benefits for my albums. I bought a Taemin Guilty SMini during a sale, and paid full price. I even tried to get help finding a Wonwoo POB for their Seventeenth Heaven comeback and the girl at the desk wouldn't help me. Another employee (who i'm assuming was the manager) came flying out from the office and assisted me and was very nice. I even had a lovely conversation with her a few weeks ago about the ridiculous size of the B.A.P Christmas album. Mistreatment of male stans seems to be a problem throughout all of San Antonio, but considering that there's only maybe 4 stores here in San Antonio, the manager, or owner might want to consider retraining their staff to be excepting of everyone; because at this point, it's probably better to just wait til i visit DFW again, or just use my Kaddy to get my items. read more

Very cute kpop shop with a lot of variety! It's located at a small strip mall and did not have a permanent sign when I went to visit. It feels very local. They had CDs, light sticks, posters, folders and other items. For a small store, it had all the basics. Pricing was about on target with other places I've seen in other cities. Can't wait to go back and see what else they have! Maybe they even take preorders? read more

Different products such as accessories, plush, music, trading cards, posters. Friendly staff. Kid says prices are below average cost, so that's good to hear for a kid's budget. When I got there, I was so happy to see all their decorations and albums. A huge variety! I liked that they had some cute accessories as well. The prices were great considering all the other places I looked for albums at. Staff members were nice to me. I also really loved the K-pop songs playing in there, so nice! I had purchased an album that came in great shape with all the items that are said to be in it, although one of the pages in the photo book was a bit ripped. I went to Kpop SA on a whim wondering what it's prices would be like and what I would find there. I found a very friendly staff and prices which although expensive, were great for harder to get albums. I ended up buying an album and a skincare product. The albums here are still in their original packaging and they have a huge selection. They also have a wide range of other miscellaneous merchandise for a number of groups both official and unofficial. Overall it was a great experience. If you want a common album like a BTS one target might be a bit cheaper, but for pretty much everything else this is the place to go! read more

They had a good variety of stuff from multiple bands. Some of it was authentic but some or it was knock off goods. They also have shirts but they are all black. Overall excited to have a place to stop in and browse all the cute things. read more

My closest friends are K-pop obsessed, up to their ears in BTS so I wanted to help feed into their obsessions with gifts and this place is within biking distance of my house so it was perfect for me! :-) I love having a way to purchase k-pop related merchandise without going on Amazon, Target, or Walmart. Just the thought of purchasing music so gentle and precious from a store without any morals makes my whole body shudder. I loved this place and was excited to have a Kpop store next to where I lived! The last 4 times I've gone in has been awesome, except my last visit. I had put two albums on hold on different days through Instagram, and went to pick them up Wednesday 7/14. When I walked in a lady with blonde bangs was there putting albums away on the shelf and didn't acknowledge me. So I tried to politely tell her what I was there for, which was met with a rude face and tone saying "We'll be with you". Then another lady with glasses comes out of the back, and asks what my name was for the hold. I tell her and she in an ugly tone said "c-H-r-y?" I'm assume because my name is spelled different, and proceeds to ask if I held it on Instagram to which I said yes. She then rudely says "well then it'll be under your username". I have never pre ordered with them, and didn't know they wouldn't use my normal name which is ALSO in our DMs, and also she had asked for my name...but my bad. They then only had one album I wanted on hold, and the other wasn't placed aside yet which isn't a big deal because I had only held it the previous day, and the woman with glasses continued to belittle her other employee who wasn't even there about not putting the album aside... I loved my albums and the free poster for my preorder, but I cried in my car leaving that place, because of how crappy they made me feel and how bad of an experience that was. Like I said I do love this place as I am a BTS fan, but don't go unless it's one of the other younger employees. They always make me feel welcome and I'd rather talk to them, than to grown women who belittle there employees and customers in one visit. read more
