I stopped in here Friday on the first day of May to pick up my Foo Fighters vinyl album. As I…read moreparked, I kept telling myself to get in, get out since I was on somewhat of a tight schedule. But after walking in, I wound up staying an extra 10 minutes marveling at the beauty of the store and it's impressive record selection. There are plenty of vinyl selection available for purchase; plus you can order whatever they don't carry and pick it up at the store (hence the Foo Fighters album). Plus there's cds and cassette tapes adorning the shelves that brings some 80's-90's nostalgia. And they are available for purchase. The store is family-run with owners who are nice and welcoming. We made some small talk and I mentioned I was in San Antonio on business. They appreciated me coming in and picking up a record from them. We mentioned I'll be back the next time I'm in San Antonio to check out their inventory and perhaps come away with some more music material. I definitely intend to make that happen soon!

It is located in a strip mall off Fredericksburg, and it won't be found unless ones looking for it, which I was. It is not a very big place, but it does have a lot of knickknacks, including an impressive collection of stickers, bookmarks, and vinyl records, to name a few. It actually is a pretty neat place. The books are used and for the most part they're very reasonably priced. They do not have an inventory of the books, so you do have to look through shelves, if looking for a particular title. And their staff is only one person at the cashier. Which is to say that you can browse to your heart's content, and discover some major reads. They also had quite a few boxes of books that were under one dollar or $.50. This is one of those places that I intend to return to, because of pricing and to support small businesses. I truly recommend visiting this place. It makes for a fun visit.

I will say that their selection is not as big as some of the other stores that i've seen, but they still have some great deals. This visit, we got a pan to cook with, a phone charging card, some protein powder and even some beauty products. For example, who in the world wanted grapefruit flavored Listerine? Parking is plentiful but damn, the lot is run down so watch your step. Service is decent, selection is quite varied in particular in bedding and dry goods. As someone else pointed out, you can get great discounts on food products but be sure to check the expiration dates on some of them! YMMV but for my dollar this is a discount chain worth visiting.
