Stopped in on a quick lunch with friends before work and managed to get in and out in under an hour easily. Food was good, but nothing stand out flavor/texture wise. Great place to stop if you have an itch to try something new, especially considering most menu items are trendy. Menu itself was fairly small. Hits the Korean classic quick foods

The food was pretty good! I think the chicken was fried perfectly and the white snow onions are very much something not within my normal ordering but its totally worth a try! The cheese pull on the fried rice was awesome and the cheese fries have that artificial cheese flavor in the best way possible (like a cheese curl or whale crackers). Our server was more than happy to explain any of the food to us and was on top of our drinks. The decorations are pretty cool too and they play a lot of popular kpop music as well. Overall a pretty great first visit for an adventurous eater! :D

I have been missing Korean chicken since the last 2 areas I have lived in didn't have nearby. I decided to try K Pocha based on the high reviews. I went for the lunch special today (a Wednesday) around 12:30. There were 2 other tables with people so it was quiet and quick. I loved the cute cafe vibe. Service was attentive and taking care of the 3 tables effectively. I choose the garlic honey tenders and they were exactly what I'd hoped for. Super crunchy outside with tender chicken inside. Sweetly, sticky, salty, a little spicy (not hot at all though, just flavorful). The lunch came with fries which were like this beer battered style that I really like but don't see very much at restaurants. There was also some cabbage with a dressing that looked and tasted like Russian dressing. The menu had lots of options that I've seen on Kdramas and so I can't wait to come back and try out some other offerings! The chicken tenders seemed like a better texture and quality than I've had at chain type Korean chicken restaurant (though I have enjoyed Bonchon in the past, this was so much better). Update-- I went back for a second visit and tried the teriyaki chicken, I also got the corn cheese fries. They don't have corn- it's some type of crunchy/powdery coating or topping on them. It's a little sweet which was unexpected but tasty. The dinner portion of chicken is between 6-8 pieces so it's a larger portion than the lunch special but doesn't come with the fries. I think I slightly prefer the honey garlic flavor but the teriyaki was excellent as well.

Upon walking into the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was the intoxicating aroma. It smelled so good! The had K-pop playing on the speakers and what looked like Korean music videos on a tv screen. The server was very friendly and inviting. He was attentive and patient. The food was great!

Stopped here for lunch. The inside was nice and clean and the staff were all friendly. We ordered the Bulgogi skillet, honey garlic chicken tenders and the corn cheese fries. They also brought out the Bulgogi Kimbap on accident. The fries are insanely good! There's no corn pieces or melted cheese so don't let the name fool you. The honey garlic tenders were crunchy and covered in sticky goodness. The bulgogi meat was nice and tender and flavorful. It's a street food vibe so they don't have banchans like other Korean places. Definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to try more of their offerings!

Delicious food, fast service, decent price, nice decor inside - looks like a street. We tried Bulgogi Bibimbap, Rice Cake dish, fried dumplings and of course Soju.

I never write reviews but this place deserves the best review of them all. Perfect staff. Perfect food. Perfect vibes. Perfect prices. Nothing ever goes wrong and I eat here multiple times a week. More people need to know of this AMAZING Korean cuisine!!!! The kimbap, bulgogi bibimpap, & the fried chicken are always my go-tos but everything else on the menu is also fantastic. I ordered a green grape soju (if you've never tried soju this is absolutely the most amazing flavor you need to try) They brought out my drink first then asked if I wanted "the frog" I had no idea what the frog was! But then they brought out THIS! the most amazing device ever invented. K pocha is the most amazing place in knoxville. The fried chicken AMAZING! The kimbap AMAZING! The bibimpap AMAZING! The passion in this review is both from my LOVE for K Pocha & the desperate need myself & many others have for this place to stay open! If you're thinking of eating the best food you've ever tasted, K Pocha can satisfy!

I was excited to try this casual Korean restaurant as one of my first dining-out experiences in Knoxville. When I arrived, I mistakenly thought they were closed because their "open" lights were not on, and their door and windows were tinted, hindering my ability to see if there was any sign of life. However, some customers walked out, and that's how I realized they were open. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap. It came with a refreshing soup. I expected a lot more from the kimbap since it had bulgogi. Sadly, the taste of other fillings overwhelmed that of the bulgogi that you wouldn't know there was bulgogi in the gimbap. Regardless, I will still visit again to try other things on the menu, especially the tteokbokki but not the bulgogi kimbap.

We came during soft opening on a Friday evening. Plenty of parking in the plaza. The interior is very "street" style. We got our table really fast since we came before 6pm. I've always been looking for a good Korean restaurant and this one for sure is. The bulgogi kimbap is great. Our chicken wings with honey and garlic sauce are so yummy. And the biggest surprise-the Army soup, became our favorite. It is not a hard thing to make but hard to make it this tasty. The soup base, the ingredients and the Damuji that came with it, are just perfect. Hopefully in the future they have more choices on the menu and serve banchan.

They keep lots of chop sticks and Napkins on the ready..

Best Meal Ever!!! Great selections even though it's kind of a "Soft Opening", they will have to roll you out the door so to speak. Great atmosphere food and drink selections. Very cute and helpful waitress to help you with the menu. KPop music selections on the walls that my daughter enjoyed..but the rest I'll leave to my photos as a reference .

My husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and had our baby with us. Walking in we were warmly greeted by the hostess and brought to our table. She asked us if we wanted a low table or a high table and if we needed a sling or a high chair. Our server immediately came over and got our drink order and let us look over the menu. Their menu has a lot of really good options from sandwiches to pizza and hamburgers. I decided on the Italian beef sandwich and my husband got the Halas Burger. The food came out extremely fast and was hot and fresh. My sandwich was a roast beef sandwich with onions, peppers and cheese dipped in au jus and severed with a side of au jus and Giardiniera. It tasted great. The flavors all went really well together and the giardiniera added a great crunch and slight heat to the sandwich. I got onion rings as my side, which were hot and crunchy. The Halas burger was a burger patty topped with an onion ring, mozzarella and boom boom sauce. The patty was well cooked and fresh. With the onion ring and everything else it was a great burger. The fries that came with it were hot and had good flavor. Windy City is a great lace to come and get some good food. I can definitely see it being a great place to watch a game and have a drink or two with friends or coming and just grabbing some food and hanging out with friends or family. We will definitely be back to try more things.

Rather than toss them in sauce they coat them in a rub: Original, Fire, or Blazin. Blazin is a bit on the hot side for me but okay if tried separately. The rubs are so tasty you don't even need the sauces, but they are flavorful as well. My favorites so far are the spicy bleu cheese and the spicy garlic. I thought the sweet chili lime was a bit too watery and didn't love the cilantro lime ranch but I really haven't gone wrong yet. In the times we've waited as well as when we've ordered takeout, one observation is that typically the person(s) that are supposed to great those that order take out, are often busy chatting with restaurant patrons and others rather than being attentive to those waiting for their takeout orders. The food quality seems to be slipping. We've eaten at this location many times and while we can say that the sandwiches are decent, the boneless wings (Which we've ordered many times) are subpar at best. We've continued to apparently mistakenly give the wings a try and they get worse and worse as they are very overcooked time and time again. The last time we visited, both orders of boneless wings were super dry and rubbery. No amount of sauce can fix that. It was very unpleasant and our guest that we invited to dine with us and we purchased their meal, experienced the same low quality wings. It wasn't a good first impression. If we come back, we won't be ordering these ever again. Hoping the staff will make efforts to provide better quality food. We'll invest our discretionary money elsewhere when we want to enjoy an evening out.

Myrtle's finally did, and now I'm questioning every church potluck of my childhood. Where has this been hiding all these years? The tomato pie comes out in a hot little crock with a golden, bubbling crust that smells like grandma's kitchen if grandma was a world-class baker. Think cheesy, creamy, savory layers over tomatoes that taste like they've seen sunshine and prayer. It's rich without being heavy and hits that perfect spot between home cooking and something a chef bragged about in culinary school. If you come here and don't order it, you're robbing yourself. The fried chicken tenders are solid, the tea fine, and the vibe feels like a casual local spot where you can relax after wandering around Market Square. Service was friendly and fine for a not-so-busy afternoon. Still, I'd go back just for that tomato pie. Honestly, I might plan a trip around it. If Myrtle's ever puts out a cookbook, I'd buy it just to see whether there's a secret ingredient or just generations of Southern guilt that kept this dish from me. Order the tomato pie. Trust me.
