The woman at the front desk was informative and friendly, and my wax specialist Charlotte was very nice. She brought me back and got everything explained and prepped really speedily (I don't know if she just likes to speak fast or if she really was trying to fly through everything) but that was fine with me. She was friendly and made the situation feel casual and comfortable. The waxing didn't hurt too bad either, so that was a welcome relief. They have wax plans you can sign up for to save money if you're planning on going regularly. But as I wanted to see how I liked the results and how my skin did etc, I turned that offer down and was not pressured at all to do differently. So, free wax, no strings!
