K-Man Cyclery is an excellent bike shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. I highly recommend K-Man! read more

The guys at K-Man are very knowledgeable and helpful. I was trying to solve a tire sizing issue on an older Colombia Twosome bike and they knew the issue and helped me get the right tube and put me on the path to getting the right tires. Turns out the bike has different sizes F and R as well. Local expertise and service is much appreciated! Will be back next time! read more

I want to give kudos to Forest, I brought a bent rim into the shop. He was very helpful great customer service, very skilled, he managed to straighten a rim I did not it could be done. Highly recommend him. read more

Keith sold me my first real bike many years ago at Sunstorm Cyclery. I still remember him coming to speak at the Jr. High after winning Kona. He always had time for the kids, and that kindness drew a lot of kids to cycling. I had the opportunity to use the shop several times this week. They changed out a cog, adjusted a hub, changed some tires/tubes, and trued a wheel for me. I also purchased a jersey and a new (badly overdue) road helmet. Steve was businesslike and attentive, and the work was prompt and well done. Additionally, the prices were extremely reasonable, especially for a small town bike shop with almost non existent margins. It was great to chat with Keith, and I'm glad he's basically retired. He deserves it. K-Man Cyclery is a great legacy. read more

Wow! it was the morning before the The Big Bovine Race when I mistakenly disconnected my electronic shifters buried beneath the bottom bracket. I accosted the owner before the shop was even open. He fixed it for me in 20 min, just in time for the ride. Not too many like Steven Anzel and K-Man Cyclery! Old school bike shop that gives a damn!! read more

The customer service at K-Man Cyclery is next level. Just to give you an ideal what I'm talking about, I had a flat on my e-bike ( rear tire) and didn't have transportation to take my rather heavy and large E-bike to the shop to fix. So I threw a dart in the wind and ask them do they do pick ups? The owner ( whose name I unfortunately forgot to get) told me they've never done that before but that he could find someone who could do that for me. I was blown away that he was willing to go out of his way to do this for me. Fortunately I found someone with a truck that was willing to help me out. But nevertheless that's what you call above and beyond customer service! I subsequently took by bike to his shop and not only had my bike fixed the next day but by a significantly lower price then the estimate. Needless to say, I'm a big fan and will direct all my bike business to K-Man. Big fan!! read more

Always friendly, quick and expert service at K-Man! Whether you need a rebuild, restoration, repair - large or small - he's got you covered and what you need. And, with prices as reasonable as his, it's no wonder he's built such a loyal customer base. Ha, he'll even top off exercise balls for nothin', with a smile and assistance fitting them back into your car. Bam, K-Man! read more

I was recently in the area and got a flat on my folding bike. They took care of it quickly for me and charged a fair price. Turns out they have a very nice shop as well. I look forward to stopping in again. read more

Steve at K-man (and Keith and the rest of the team) have always been great about service and price when I go there. Cool bits: I called Steve asking about a new gravel bike. He mentioned he had one not put together but would get it setup, then called the next day and drove it down to Atascadero! I bought it that week. Great service... We also got my wife her new LIV bike (Giant's female division is carried by K-man) and she loves it. So happy to have found this place after lots of research! read more

Needed a inner tube quickly on trip at Morro Bay. Pleasant and polite on the phone and great help once we made the short drive there. Installed the tube quickly . Thanks a lot and made this vacation memorable read more

I do not beleive there could be a better bike store than K-Man. I have experienced AMAZING customer service at the both locations, Paso and Atascadero. In particular, Kieth has been great. He is very knownledgeable and eager to help. He did not over sell me on any of his products. He understood what I wanted and provided exactly that. Overall, the stores exceeded my expectations. I would recommend K-Man to anyone looking for a nice bike shop. read more

I needed a bike tune up and help with my deflated tire. Steven made drop off and pick up quick and easy. He does good honest work, I would highly recommend. read more

We've purchased a couple of bikes here in the past. The owner/employee we've interacted with since then is rude and can't seem to be bothered. I know we're not the only people that this has happened to. We though this was perhaps due to the stress of the pandemic, but it's happened more than once and it's disappointing. I love supporting local, small businesses but not when they can't be bothered to help you. Am now taking my business to a shop in SLO where they're always friendly and super helpful. read more

Called on my way through town in search of a quality first bike for my 3 year old. Keith answered and I explained my son has worn out his balance bike and was ready for a bike with pedals. I walked in and out within 5 minutes with a bike that my son started riding immediately and absolutely LOVES. Highly recommend quality and service. read more

Thank you so much for making this Mama's day so much easier! K-Man replaced my BOB stroller tire for me so my kiddo and I could get back to our regular walks. I had no idea this was a service if there's and I'm so grateful I was able to stop by without an appointment. I walked in with the stroller and they had the tire tube replaced and back on the stroller in less than 10 minutes for less than $20. Quality service & friendly staff. I will be telling all my Mama friends. read more

Steven/Kieth are alway professional. Over the last 5 years I have bought 6 bicycle's. Quick on repairs, always friendly. The last 18 month's have been tough on all bike shops. Kman is no exception. Sometime parts are in sometime not. The are very honest to say if a supplier is out of certain items. Everything they sell can be bought on the internet, but that's does zero good for local retailers, or the local economy. Buy local and everyone wins. read more

Very friendly staff and efficient! Got my bike fixed at a very low price and appreciated the quick time it took to fix. Absolutely recommend to any and everyone! read more

They are always a great place to go. I do not ride bikes at all. But have needed a number of things they sell. They always treat me like I was a big spending customer. There is a reason they do well. They are very nice people. read more

I needed some running shoes, and they have an upstairs devoted to running gear. Rob took the time to examine my stride and suggested a shoe to work for me. I went home with a men's shoe (yes, I'll admit it - I have big feet!) but after wearing them indoors, decided it was slightly too wide. I called Rob and he happilly ordered the women's version for me...and called me when it was in. Price was the same as what I would have paid online....I checked. What impressed me most was how I received undivided attention each time I went in. My daughter was with me and he also made sure that she was entertained with coloring books & markers. I look forward to going back and getting some cute running clothes! read more

These guys are the best! They remedied my problem while I was traveling. Thankful for bike shops like this.

Excellent bike shop and the customer service is fantastic. Steven stayed after hours to try and help me with a last minute problem tonight. Highly recommend k-man. Wished i lived locally so they could be my LBS. read more

Great customer service. Staff was very courteous and extremely helpful. Helped a guy from out of town with a tire!

All the reviews are 5 star I think. No wonder! What a GREAT bunch of people! I just go here for all my velo needs!

Came back and bought another bike. Once again, I visited every shop in SLO and told them what I was looking for. It was mid summer and it seems that's the time of year when the current model bikes start to sell out and shops are waiting for the next year's models to ship, or so I'm told. I kept being directed to stuff that was twice what I wanted to spend, and very different from what I was looking for. Sent Stephen a message on Facebook asking if he had a plus tire hardtail in stock. Ending up getting a great deal on a lightly used demo. Right price, right bike, and great customer service. Stephen listens to what you want and then goes and finds it. Completely stoked on the new bike and having a blast with it! Next time I'll skip the shops in SLO and come here first. read more

K-Man Cycle and Run is AWESOME. When you shop here you will get great service and possible create friends for life. K-Man and his crew are amazingly welcoming and provide very good advice. The shop is dedicated to the community and is the driving force behind the local triathlon, cycling, and swimming community. I have purchased my Giant TCR and Giant OCR from K-Man with absolutely no problems. They totally stand behind every product they sell. The mechanics always take the time to explain what will be done and the cost is always very clear. I am still waiting for the big screen tv with Tour Replays, a nice leather couch, and the Tap.... but hey that is in the works perhaps. read more

Came in with my sons scooter tire, and 2 tires from my new stroller... all three needed new tubes, air and whatever else. The two guys in there were right on top of it! Best customer service ever!! Not to mention, they're funny & quick! I will be dfinitely be recommending this place. read more

i do not think I can say enough pleasant things about this bike store. Every time I visit, the customer service blows me away. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and most of all do not push you to buy stuff that you do not need. I bought my bike at another bike store, leaving not knowing very much about it, however when I walk out of K Man, I have learned more about my bike in 30 minutes than I did at the previous bike store. They adjusted my bike for free, made sure that it worked properly, and made me feel like a valued customer (something that the other bike store did not do). read more

Great service and very prompt. Very nice to have knowledgeable technicians in the North County. Great selection of gear and parts on hand. As a bonus the other day they were blowing out all of the running shoes for $25. Made out like a bandit. Would highly recommend. read more

K-Man has the best service! Whether a small service like getting my stroller tires repaired, giving advice on bikes and equipment, or giving back to our community, I trust and appreciate them! My fiance just bought a mountain bike here, and part of the reason he purchased was due to the exemplary customer service. Has got to be my favorite shop in town. Keith knows his stuff!

Just bought a really nice mountain bike for a really nice price. It took me several trips and asked Steve a ton of questions. He was so friendly and informative I couldn't help but buy my bike at Kman. He needed up doing a number of repairs on the kids bikes too. I would highly recommend anyone into biking to visit this shop for sure! read more

I've bought 2 bikes from K-man and couldn't be happier. I like to shop around for the best price and K-man continues to be the lowest in the county. Their staff is eager to help and friendly. I will continue to send my friends and family their way. Thanks Keith! read more
