I was very happy with his communication skills and his help. He has always been plesent and respectful. I went by with my daughter and found his location was closed down. Not sure if he moved or closed the door for good. read more

I came here on December 7th, 2024 The person who did my smog check was very nice but also very persistent that I "be careful" because of the car I have. He said people go around stealing catalytic converters in the area. I don't live in panorama city. COINCIDENTLY!!! Overnight, someone steals my catalytic converter. Crazy? Coincidence? So weird. Lost my trust completely. Fuck this place! read more

KC Smog is the best smog place I've been to. I was in and out in a few minutes. They are so polite and kind and good at what they do. This is only place you need to go to. It's in the heart of Panorama City (Near Van Nuys and Northridge). They do STAR certified smog tests, so if you get the notification from the DMV, yes this place will help you take care of that. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a smog test. It doesn't get more efficient or with better service than this place. Also - it's a local business - always a better choice to support the hard working local business in your town, especially after a huge economic hardship like we have had. Soli Deo Gloria. read more

K C Smog Check Test Only - Smog Check Time - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Panorama City, California

I always come to this place for smog inspection. Very friendly staff that will take care of you. The process takes 10 minutes or less.

This place is phenomenal!!!! Sometimes getting your smog check done can be similar to visiting the dentist or DMV - Not one of those experiences that you look forward to getting done. This place will completely change your mind of the typical tiresome experience you have to endure to get your vehicle smogged. Let me tell you why: 1. Peter is extremely professional and super helpful and friendly. 2. It only took less than 8 minutes from the time I pulled up and finished. Barely had time to sit down as he is so expedient and efficient in getting the smog test done. It went by so fast I almost forgot to pay cause I couldn't believe how fast and painless it was. 3. Very clean and organized work environment. I wish all businesses, especially automotive establishments would be run at this high quality of professionalism. Certainly makes life much easier and enjoyable. KC Smog is worthy of 10 stars!!!!! Even if you have to drive a bit further to get here, it's definitely worth it cause you will leave with a smile instead of a headache. read more

I called in and asked if I could get my car smog, and Peter told me to come in and it won't take long. They work fast and efficient, and Peter was very friendly and accommodating. I had a really good experience here and will be recommending this to my family and friends, thank you again Peter! read more

That time a year again, and when it comes then here comes the anxiety. No sweats though because I just dropped in at KC's and the tandem is in full effect. In and out within minutes for what I needed, now off the the endless line factory at the DMV. I've got time to spare. read more

They treat your car as if it's their car, Peter or Chris always help customer back out ( blind spots ). Not many shops will do that. Reasonable prices not over price unlike other shops. Give them a try you won't regret it. Thanks read more

These guys are quick, professional and super friendly. I've been coming here for years now. Peter "pumpkin eater" is the owner and he knows everything about the trade. He knows equipment, modification rules, and ticket laws. I went to a smog place across the street thinking KC was closed and I needed the smog check right away. They wanted to remove my LEGAL air intake and exhaust. Realized KC was open and they took care of everything for me. Like I said, these guys are great! read more

Was referred by a friend always saw this place but never went I gotta say this shop is fucken amazing I'm a business owner myself so I pay attention to detail. Pete handled service like I was fucken OPRAH or a celeb that was pretty cool seeing someone go beyond their service just one thing was off his employee didn't seem like he wanted to be there which sucks cuz the shop was peaceful to even wait in. I don't have anyone employed who doesn't love the field I'm in and it's for this reason even a bad vibe or face can fuck it all up. Almost a 5 star but if you don't mind then it's the best fit for you. As for me I'll probably send my employee next time I can't stand a Fuchi face. read more
