Very kind and patient owner ! He is very friendly and willing to help! Best price that Quoted me as well! I recommend

First off the $90 payment is highway robbery when most places charge about $59. Second of all He Failed my truck visually over my air intake, he could have said before charging me hey man it's not going to pass because your intake doesn't have a CARB sticker..change it and come back. Instead he wanted to make the money one time instead of having a repeat customer who owns 10 vehicles and just moved to the area and needs a new smog place. Sam was cool overall but I didn't like that business practice. I own a Bodyshop myself so I understand the dynamics of business both for the owner and customers. I would earn the long term business, personally. And I left 5 star review on google before we wrapped up any business shame on me. I give them 2 stars cause Sam was cool, but overcharging and baiting just for a buck it stops there. read more

Finally found a great smog check place in my area! It may not look like much outside...but the customer service here was great! Pricing was great AND has convenient business hours. Highly recommend! read more

1 Arleta Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Arleta, California

Kind and really efficient - thumbs up from me! Good price and very fast service!!!!!!

I stopped by here with my dad this morning to get a Smog test on his truck. My dad usually comes here to do all of his smog test and my sister smog test. He's really happy with their service and the price they charge. It's not in the best of area and the place is small but it works for them. When we came today, they were not busy and was able to check the car right away. I told him that the truck got the catalytic converter replaced and a CAT shield added but the information he needs is still visible. He was able to find everything he needed and the truck pass the smog test. read more

Very easy, super fast, very nice and respectable. I would 100% suggest Arleta Smog for your next Smog Test.

Tony at Arleta Smog is hands-down the best in the business. After visiting two other smog check locations that couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car, Tony found the issue right away. His knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail saved me time, money, and a major headache. He didn't just run the test--he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my car was truly road-ready. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service and someone who actually knows what they're doing. Great price too at only $90! I won't go anywhere else. Forever a customer! read more

I love random acts of kindness. Today I took the van to get smogged to fulfill DMV registration renewal requirements. It was pretty hot in the direct sun, so the worker (probably also owner) told us to park inside the bay while waiting for our turn. Everyone else was getting serviced outside alongside the back of the garage bay. I don't think there was room for us there, so he had us pull in to keep us cooler while waiting. That was nice gesture #1. He didn't make us get out of the car like he did everyone else. I know where the OBD port is, so I grabbed the cable and plugged it in while he started the test and went off to another car. I saw the screen prompt to run the engine and idle between two lines until the timer stopped, so I did that part myself while he was at another car. He came back and smiled and said " oh you did it yourself. You help me and work for me now". We both laughed. It was getting increasing hot while continuing to wait, and my dog was absolutely panting heavily so I decided to open up my metal water bottle and let her just have it and drink from it directly. I could and did clean and wash it later. She needed it more than I did. He saw me doing this and went to his fridge and brought us 2 cold waters, no charge, and asked if we needed more. He gave Nia some pets and told her she had the most beautiful eyes. This guy was just so nice. At the end when it was time to pay, he said "I'm taking $20 off because you helped me, and smiled and winked ". I got zero creeper vibes from him. It was very much like loving father vibes. My mom got emotional and almost started to cry. 3 acts of kindness from one stranger in the same afternoon. I'm thinking he's just this kind of person and we can all take a lesson from that on how to be more caring, attentive, and compassionate. I would definitely recommend him and use him again. read more
