3 bowls of banchan - all were good. Fave was the broccoli
    Rachel M.

Talk about a perfect heartwarming cozy lunch after walking around on a chilly day at the Manatee Viewing Center. This would be perfect bc I do love soup. FYI: we ordered the Korean cheesy corn appetizer first and this is delightfully cheesy and sweet. It doesn't feel like Mayo more cheesy. It's so good! Back to the soup: I wanted their Soft Tofu Soup since I had one in Orlando that I still dreamt about. I had the Beef Soft Tofu soup mild. I was afraid that the flavor would get lost due to not being spicy. I still really liked this soup and I just have to have rice with it, and I just couldn't stop. It was so good yet, it's so easy to eat this soup and enjoy it slowly since it's so hot. It really warmed me up a lot. My friend ordered the galbitang which is beef on the bone and it's a clear soup with eggs and veggies. It tasted very good, not too salty, & reminded me of a caldo de res soup at a Latin restaurant or beef soup clear broth per se. Just to try to compare it. They provided us with 3 banchan sides and rice. I really wish we had more banchan and different types but ours were very good. The broccoli was my fave, the kimchi was not too spicy and the 3rd dish was good and starchy. Our server was a doll. So sweet, so knowledgable and so helpful. This was a great experience at this Korean restaurant. I would love to try so many items on this menu, but it's not really an area I frequent.

This is not our first time here. The Kimchi Stew was a little salty with little soup. The katsu and fried dumpling were alright. I had a better experience last time. Service is good. I will come back for other menu items

We visit K Bop during our trip to Manatee Viewing Center. This Korean restaurant is one of the few in the Apollo Beach area. The restaurant is tiny and cozy. The owner will meet and greet at the table. We start with bulgogi kimbap. The kimbap is delicious with bulgogi. One thing they can improve is more sesame oil to be use here. The second dish is the donkatsu pork cutlet. This is fried pork cutlet with rice, cabbage salad, pickle, and a soft drink. However, I think it is average dish. For the price value is not measured up for this area. Overall we like the service, food vs price not so much. There is some good thing about the restaurant. I rated in average median.

Friendly, tasty, comforting. I am very happy to welcome a korean restaurant to ruskin! I met the owner who also cooks and manages the restaurant actively. I would recommend this place to all who love korean food or want to try unique cuisine. THE FOOD: The appetizer Corn cheese was very nice. A combination of sweet and salty while also being filling. The entrees like my seafood stirfry were delicate and savory. The portions are not large but they are enough. The quality of the food and craftsmanship really pleased me. I took time to really enjoy the food and complimented it with a korean soda and water. To improve: this place was very hard to find, i cant find much else to say. I think youve made a wonderful experience and maybe just need to stand out more. Its hard to find/ identify this place besides being the only korean place around :)

No review could do this restaurant justice, as it is truly unique. All of the food is handmade, never frozen, including the hand-trimmed meats. Everything here is exceptional. I mainly come here for the handmade hotteok, which is hand stuffed yeast dough. Griddle fried and filled with gooey cinnamon sugar. So dreamy!

Someone call Mariah Carey, because I'm obsessed. This place is awesome and makes new banchan every week. They also have a nice selection of snacks and sodas. I often see people ordering Bulgogi and wings from here. I have a goal of trying everything from here, but I highly recommend the soondubu dishes and refills on the banchan. No frills. You sit down, order, and grub.

Won't return: too sweet! Ordered online: chicken , sides, soup and rice roll. The best of them is the plain white rice. The chicken tastes like candy. The kimchi is ok but I think mine is better -:)

Got the ramyun N8. 불고기라면 / Bulgogi Ramyun with cheese and my husband got the B1. 불고기 / Bulgogi.

K-pop...we had a wonderful time last night to support our local business. she was telling why she opened a restaurant. She cooks with quality ingredients as the owner and takes pride in cooking . She will sit down with you and get to know her regular customers. #apollobeach#tamparesturants#tampafooodie#ruskinfl#korenfood# kimchi

The taste is there, but the food quality is disappointed. Perhaps kimbap has different versions, mine didn't have egg and pickle. the rib soups only has two ribs, and it was hard to get the meat off the bone. The prices are same as other Korean places.

The service was excellent and the food fantastic! We had a party of 12 and our food arrived hot and fresh and our server was very attentive throughout our entire dining experience. This place is fairly small but clean and they offer flavorful food and generous portions. It won't be my last visit.

I was able to order a sirloin and eggs, plenty of protein to start my day. Ashley was working this morning and was very happy to share some news of their uniquely delicious dessert options. If you are a dessert person and dine out then you know how boring it can't be in the Tampa area. You get the same old lava cake, key lime pie, Apple something with caramel drenched on it and the peanut butter pie and cheesecake. Well finally the Bistro decided to take it up a notch and get a lemon cello cake, a chocolate torte. So for a short time if one of these desserts appeals to you hurry over before they are gone. Ambiance is casual and open lots of seating options from booths to high tops to regular tables and bar seating too. Service is also very good your greeted with a smile and when it's busy you still get a acknowledgement.

When we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant, but the server was really friendly and happy to see us. We grabbed a booth large enough for the 6 of us and looked over the menu. Our server brought over some water and offered other drinks and gave us some recommendations whenever we were ready to order. I saw the flatbread on the menu and knew it would be just perfect portion and flavor. Nothing else on the menu matched what I was hungry for since I didn't want anything too heavy. Others ordered some pasta dishes and they even had some tuna on the menu. Overall, this was. good meal. The food all came out pretty quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals.

The food lastnight was a very nice surprise. It was excellent. The grouper bites were amazing. The star the night. Very light, crispy and fresh. Cesar was very good. Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection as was the Grouper Dinner. Both were ordered with the butter sauce. Sides were very good. Martinis on spot. Sorry no pictures. The people are also very nice even if service is a little slow. Okay, now to the meat of what you're interested in: the food. If the food were 50% cheaper you'd probably be willing to overlook its shortcomings for the ambiance. There's little seasoning to be found on anything so everything is bland. Even the fries are completely lacking in salt. The grouper was breaded nicely and cooked properly but it was almost tasteless. The bacon carried my wife's Crab BLT because everything was so bland for her. The lobster dip appetizer had uncooked Parmesan sprinkled on the bread that was neither bruschetta nor dipping bread so it just didn't work well as an appetizer either. Overall, there's a better restaurant literally next door that's a little cheaper and I can't see coming back after such a disappointing outing.
