The shrimp were a bit salty; but otherwise, that platter passed her muster. I got the red snapper Alexander, and it was really good. Lots of flavor without overwhelming the fish. The Caesar salad I had with it had WAYYYY too much dressing, but it wasn't overpowering. The rolls they give you when you're seated as still to die for. And the cheesecake for dessert was great! The service was outstanding. The only caveat I would offer is that we were there in the middle of the afternoon, and it wasn't busy.

We were meeting friends for dinner a I had known for years. We sat and waited finally my starving wife asked when the wait person was coming or did we need to flag then down. Found out you went to the register ordered and they brought it out to you. They have a selection of frozen drinks from Strawberry to Hurricane and a few others. They have soft drinks too. Word of warning if you don't know your spice level you may want to go mild it's spicy enough to taste the seafood. We did a boil in bag they have a couple of different sizes and you may want to check online for specifics before you go. Otherwise besides being rather sparse attendance it was clean and no glaring problems.

Outstanding Service from Sade at Pappadeaux Beaumont!…read more Our experience at Pappadeaux in Beaumont was absolutely wonderful, and a huge part of that was because of Sade. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. Sade provided exceptional customer service throughout our entire meal. She was friendly without being overwhelming, attentive without having to be asked, and made sure everything was just right. Her beautiful personality and professionalism truly stood out. It's not often that you come across someone who takes such pride in making sure her customers have a great experience. Sade is definitely one of those people. She made our visit memorable, and her service is exactly the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back. Pappadeaux, you have a gem in Sade! Disappointing customer service -- this will be my last visit…read more I was previously given a gift card as compensation for an order Pappadeaux's messed up. I was told it had around $32-$34 on it. My recent order was $29.12, so I presented the card at checkout. The cashier called a manager, who came over, didn't greet me or speak to me, looked at the order, and decided to apply only $20. The issue isn't the money--it's the lack of communication and professionalism. If the gift card had restrictions or wasn't worth the amount I was told, that should have been explained when it was issued. When a restaurant makes a mistake and offers compensation, the least a customer should expect is for that resolution to be honored and handled professionally. The food wasn't the problem. The service was. I won't be back, gift card or not.
