How can you get mad at the customer for something that is your fault. Even the paper that was filled out before doing the work said front. Then they kept trying to have me just pay to keep the back ones on so they wouldn't have to take them off. Now I'm not even 100% sure they put my old ones back on or not. After spending over $400 for brand new tires I caught a flat. Since I'm still covered under…read morewarranty I decided to take it back to Walmart to get another tire. I walked in the place at 5:30, the website said they close at 7 so I figure it'll be enough time to get the tire changed. When I walked into the place before even asking me what I needed, the young woman left the register and went to the back. After 5 mins or so I pressed the call button, no response. 5 more minutes go by, I press the button again and still no response Finally after 15 minutes the young woman returns and asks me what I needed I told her I have a flat tire and I needed a new one. She makes a face and says I'm not sure if we will be able to do it today, we stop taking new customers at 5:30 right about now it's closer to 6pm. I told her I had been standing there for over 15 minutes and that I would have been there in time if someone had been at the counter. She goes to the back brings someone else out there (tall husky Latino guy) who told me they would not be able to service me. I told him my situation that I had driven from Chicago (I live about 15 minutes away) on what I thought was a slow leak and now it's just a flat. I also told him that we had been waiting already since 5:30, I had my son with me, there we no other tire shops nearby and since this was the place where I bought my tires from, I wanted to come here. He showed no sympathy at all he's just like yeah we can't do it.He was very nonchalant and dry. I was so sad...a tire takes no time to do I didn't understand why he was being so rude to me. I left out the store so upset that I couldn't even drive home. I turned around and happened to see one of the mechanics. He took a look at the tire and told me he would fit me in. He said the the other people would be upset but he saw that I have a kid and he felt bad. The other husky guy from before started saying something to him from behind the door to the tire shop asking what was he doing! He told us to ignore him. This guy was an angel and he made my day. He truly knows what customer service is and that is the only reason I will give this place a 3 Star the technicians name is Kyle I thanked him again and again and I will personally send him a thank you note. Being a black lesbian woman, there's always a question in my mind like am I being treated this way because I'm black and queer or is this person just a jerk? I can't really say but I felt so mistreated coming here and I think I will go to Just Tires instead since Walmart employees can't have any compassion or sympathy for its customers that spend their hard earned money with them.
