They were the ones who made that CarX great. They cared about the customers and honored their commitments and promises, and appointments. That is no more.) I made an appointment over the phone to have the tire repaired the following day at 8:30 in the morning. I got there at 7:45 am and entered the customer area. I mentioned to the man behind the counter about my appointment and that I would wait for the car. He informed me that there was a car ahead of mine, there was only one mechanic working, and he was not sure how long it would take to get mine done. I told him I would wait for the car and went to sit down in the waiting area. There was a lady waiting for her car to be finished already sitting in the waiting area. I looked for a seat but the remaining seats were covered with floor mats waiting to be put down on the floor. Not wanting to crowd the lady by sitting next to her, I decided to leave. I had the tire repaired by a shop down the street in 30 minutes. I know that CarX corporate had come to the Whiting business and had started making changes to the systems and files that the previous owners had been using. This had really upset the people working there and there was friction going on. Next thing I knew was the business was under new management and the usual workers were gone along with the usual good service and family like atmosphere that had prevailed. I, for one, will no longer have my vehicles serviced there.
