I took it to a family friend and found the fuel pump was placed back incorrectly and now it's back to normal how it should've been. This guy literally lies to my face and doesn't even print out my receipts all the time just a little piece of paper with a total. Although he told me he couldn't do the type of work that my car needed with the tires he was very honest with his advice and gave me some recommendations for what I could do, unlike the dealer that was talking about sky high prices for parts and repairs. Today, I had to take my car in for a few minor repairs...again, honest and friendly business and very quick service. Once again, I'm a happy customer. I would NOT take my car anywhere else but to Pepe's. Just know that this shop does not accept credit cards, at least you know and you can be prepared to pay in cash. Pepe's Auto Service is the best car repair place in the area and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it, the work is quality and so it the service.

I made an appointment over the phone to have the tire repaired the following day at 8:30 in the morning. I got there at 7:45 am and entered the customer area. I mentioned to the man behind the counter about my appointment and that I would wait for the car. He informed me that there was a car ahead of mine, there was only one mechanic working, and he was not sure how long it would take to get mine done. I told him I would wait for the car and went to sit down in the waiting area. There was a lady waiting for her car to be finished already sitting in the waiting area. I looked for a seat but the remaining seats were covered with floor mats waiting to be put down on the floor. Not wanting to crowd the lady by sitting next to her, I decided to leave. I had the tire repaired by a shop down the street in 30 minutes. I know that CarX corporate had come to the Whiting business and had started making changes to the systems and files that the previous owners had been using. This had really upset the people working there and there was friction going on. Next thing I knew was the business was under new management and the usual workers were gone along with the usual good service and family like atmosphere that had prevailed. Luckily, I had a retired friend who knew of this tire shop and had done business w/ them. I was fighting to get my tire off and luckily after almost 45 min of battle someone showed up w/ a sledge hammer to knock the tire off the hub. I put my spare on and go to this tire place. They were only open till 6 and my retired pal took the tire to their shop ahead of me. When I arrived the owner showed me a piece of sheet metal that was in the tire and he & his son were putting a patch on. They wanted time for glue to dry. I assured them I was in no hurry to leave. They put my spare tire back in the harness underneath and cranked it up to its closed position and locked it up. Eventually the tire was patched and wheel was put on my car & has been fine since. Damages? $15. Good service, price was fine and they put my spare back in place. I told the guy, hey you were worth $20 today so I gave him a 20. Go here. Reasonable & they will take care of you.
