I first hired K&S to install a TV in my master bedroom in 2016, and we were so happy with Steve's work we held onto their contact information and hired K&S again when we moved into our new home. This time around we had Steve install a 65" TV in our family room with a sound bar. He was an absolute professional, providing key recommendations and raising things to consider for a great viewing experience. The TV was being installed on top of painted shiplap, and he was very mindful of minimizing the impact to the wall and giving our set up a clean look with no cables showing. The second TV was 55" and installed in our master bedroom, and just like he did in 2016, it was installed flawlessly with a very streamlined look. I am not very handy; so I appreciated Steve ensuring everything was set up, including connection to WiFi, activation of our FireStick, consolidation of remotes, etc. In addition to being very friendly, he made sure I was well-informed about decisions made for each set up. I was ghosted by two different vendors, who said they'd come assist us with moving our TVs and mounting them. I had to reach out to Steve last minute and he accommodated us immediately. We had a small timeframe as we had to be out of our old apartment that Friday (we reached him Wednesday). We were too scared to move our TVs on our own as one of them is really big. Steve was great on my installation. He came to inspect the wall and gave me actual recommendations on the safest route to mount a 65 inch. Ultimately, we had to install additional studs so my tv would be center; he provided me with additional options of using non LG Mount. Most other options just said they could do it without evaluating if I had a stud or not, and if I did, it would not be center. That showed me the care he put into it. We purchased a new Sanus mount from Amazon and he was able to effortlessly install it without even looking at the directions. Reached out to K&S to inquire about an appointment a few days before my TV was scheduled to be delivered. I wouldn't be able to have a confirmed TV delivery window until the day before delivery. Steve was responsive and accommodating. He was able to squeeze me in the day of my TV delivery, and even showed up prior to when the TV had arrived. Granted, this is the week before Super Bowl so I really appreciate his willingness to work around the TV delivery window. Steve and his partner arrived early and quickly removed my old 75" LED TV from the wall mount and placed it back onto the TV stand. I had an issue with some of my wiring in the conduit, and he recommended and replaced them with upgraded cables. Shortly soon after, my new 77" OLED TV arrived. Steve was ready and you can tell he's done this hundreds of times, as he knew exactly how to efficiently unbox, set up the VESA mount, and hang the new TV up, all without scanning any instructions. Steve was the absolute best!! On very short notice, he came over and single-handedly reinstalled my 65 inch TV. It had previously been installed on a very stiff mount that would not allow us to adjust the TV or reach the back of it. He reinstalled it on a fully articulating mount all by himself. I had previously been told by another installer that they could not use the articulating mount that I had previously purchased, but Steve was able to use it with no problem. Steve was excellent! I was referred to him by a friend, and I realize how important and reliable word of mouth is! Even before working with him, communication was thorough. He was able to send a quote via email after I sent him pictures of the areas of the house that needed work. I sent out 5 requests for quotes via Yelp, and his was the most complete and legitimate. Everyone else replied with a "price", but had an added "mount extra, wiring extra, electrical extra" - basically, not a complete quote. Another company via yelp had a $125 fee for a site visit to do the estimate, ridiculous. Steve was straightforward and easy to work with. Steve was able to unmount an older 55in TV from the living room and move it to a bedroom and mounted a new 75in TV in the living room. Work was done with care, measurements were precise, and he worked hard to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. My living room ended up cleaner than before they started! Steve even helped me with TV and AV receiver settings that would've taken me an hour to figure out. He knows his ways about TV and tech equipment. Don't waste your time shopping around. I wanted to give an update on the 2nd job completed by K&S Systems. They just finished up doing my speaker wire extension and it went super smoothly. My house is pre-wired for ceiling surround sound speakers, but we have a standing 5.1 speaker system. They extended the speaker wire from the ceiling to output through plates by the two rear standing speakers. We now have perfect surround sound, after months of me putting it off!
