After getting the claim information from the person that hit (yes there are still honest people in the world) I gave Mike's a call. They took down my info and sent a tow truck to pick up my car. The repairs took a little over a week but that was due to ordering new parts. Mike's kept me informed the entire time and my car looks great! They even washed and vacuumed the car. It was a smooth process until my battery died two days later. (I think my wife left a light on but i'm not sure) Anyway I tried jumping the car and it wouldn't start so i was worried that maybe something happened in the accident or the connection to the battery came loose. I had called Mike's up and he immediately sent a car out to my house (20 minutes after I called and I live about 15 minutes from the shop). They ran some diagnostics and jump started my car. It was the type of customer service you expect but never actually receive. While I hope to never deal with Mike again, if I ever have to I'm glad I know my car will be taken care of.

Their body work, whether just the daily nicks and bumps a car gets to accidents, is beautiful, and their detailing is top quality. I've never had a problem with them, except the one time recently I wanted to pay in cash and they said they'd take it, but weren't set up to make change, so I relinquished the extra $0.87 as a tip. Felicia, the service writer, was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and kept me informed about what was going on with my vehicle and let me know what my options were. She was so patient and took the time to explain everything to me. The following day, I returned to retrieve some of my things out of my vehicle and my mom and I had the pleasure of meeting Kirk who couldn't have been nicer. In the end, I needed a new engine. Because I needed a new engine, my local dealership in Indianapolis where I normally get my car serviced at told me I could tow my vehicle back to Indy to get it covered by warranty. The team at Rieger Motors helped my husband load my car onto the U-Haul tow dolly (my car wouldn't start so they helped PUSH the vehicle onto the dolly!) which was greatly appreciated. They even sent my husband home with cinnamon rolls! Although car troubles are never pleasant, the team at Rieger Motors helped alleviate a great deal of stress from the situation. *****DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO JOHN'S in Lexington, Illinois ****…read more This body shop is where we took our newer vehicle that got damage by a flying piece of tire debris only 3 hours after we bought it from the dealership. We took our vehicle here on the recommendation of a friend. Initially looked like it was gonna be a decent shop, but that changed rather quickly. This shop that does mediocre work. I say that because they supposedly fix cars for a living, but the customer has to point out damage that they said was fixed but wasn't. They called and said your car is done. Get there to pick it up and damage that we showed them when we dropped it off wasn't even addressed. So we leave it there to be fixed. During the time the shop had the vehicle in their possession it was damaged on the opposite side. I know this for a fact, because we have photos from when we bought the vehicle and their photos from when it was dropped off to be repaired. During its time at John's (ANTI) Auto Body Shop. Someone damaged my vehicle. We pointed this out to them and were basically brushed off and told we didn't do it. As not to go into a lengthy post. They said not our problem and have a nice day. The owner flat out said they weren't doing anything about it and to turn it in on a new claim. We tried to explain that the damage was not there when we bought the car or when we dropped it off. It's a deep scratch on the right side about 5 inches in length. I am generally willing to be understanding and try to work with people, but I take exception to someone calling me out and saying that I'm lying about something I know for a fact wasn't there. I was forced to make this group and post to help others avoid mistakes and getting treated like this. Take your car here at your own risk. Their work is shoddy and mediocre at best, especially when you have to point out what they should have seen when they first worked on it. In closing. If the owner is so sure his guys didn't damage my vehicle, then why did it take me pointing out work they missed in the first place? Obviously not too sharp or attentive to details and talking out both sides of his mouth. A pic of the damage and the others for reference when it was dropped off. They said I could come over right away and they'd look at it…read more Damion analyzed the chip and shared that it was a 50/50 chance it would crack more because of multiple points of impact. He shared an estimate of replacing the windshield if it did. After starting the work he realized that I had a rock hit exactly on the same spot as a previous chip repair. He touched it up, buffed it, and didn't charge me anything. Excellent customer service like this is hard to find these days. Highly recommend them for your windshield repair!
