We were recently on route home to Manitoulin Island Canada from AriZona, when close to Chenoa our battery light went on and the steam started coming from under the hood. We pulled over and called CAA/AAA who advised Rieger Motors would be where we should be towed. They were unable to arrange a tow for approx 2 or more hours and thankfully it was only 8:30 in the morning not late at night. I called Rieger motors and they were wonderful to arrange a tow within about an hour! Felica went out of her way with the Mechanics to determine the problem and order the parts even though they were only open to noon on that Saturday she stayed until that was accomplished. She even assisted us in finding a place to stay in nearby Pontiac and they provided us with a loaner car as well for us and our 2 Airedale Terriers! By Monday afternoon they had our vehicle repaired and we were on our way with a package of delicious cinnamon buns which is a gift to their customers! The service , friendliness and the whole team at Rieger are an exceptional group of people and we are so appreciative of their kindness , service and professionalism! Thank you so much ! Blew out 2 tires on I-55 on the first day of the family trip. We were stranded on the right shoulder on the Summer heat for 3 hours waiting for the AAA tow service to arrive. AAA directed me to Rieger motors for repairs, as they were in the general direction we were traveling. Nelson, at Rieger, was as friendly as they come and he coordinated a quick acquisition of 4 top rate tires; they are not an easy size to find. Nelson also arranged to have a driver pick up my family from the interstate shoulder and take them to the shop. The driver was Bud, another amazing, kind, person. Bud waited, with my wife and 3 kids in his air conditioned car, until the tow truck arrived. Bud did not want to leave me stranded, or separate our family. The repairs were quick, tires balanced well, the staff was courteous, and generous. We were even given a gift as we left; a delicious caked sized cinnamon roll. My thanks to all the people at Reiger Motors. Too bad I had to explode 2 tires to meet these great people; but to be honest they were a highlight of our trip. Had my first experience with Rieger Motor Sales in Forrest IL last week. My husband was in definite need of a different truck. Happened to see the "perfect fit" for him in Riegers used car lot as I was passing through. Stopped to look at it, called the owner, Kirk Edelman. He was VERY helpful and I purchased the truck as a Christmas surprise for my husband that day!! All the staff is VERY friendly, accommodating, honest, and "go the extra mile". They washed the truck while I was finishing up the paperwork and they gave me a dozen cinnamon homemade cinnamon rolls from a local bakery and a gift card to a local coffee place. Just want to give a big shout out to the entire crew at Rieger Motors! They just saved my day. The alternator went out on my Honda Odyssey about 7 miles out of town and they let me borrow their jump kit to get the vehicle into their shop. By the time I got it there they had the new alternator and we're pulling my van in to get started on the repair. In a couple hours I was up and running and on my way home to the Chicago area. I really can't thank them enough for going out of their way to get me out of trouble and on the road again. Kirk even sent me home with a sweet treat! I accidentally locked my keys in my car in Forrest this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Luckily I was 1/2 block from the downtown business district. I walked to Rieger Motors and asked if there was anyone who could unlock a car. The employee said he knew just the guy for the job & he was really good at it. I was 100 miles from home when my car overheated. I got to Rieger just before they closed. They immediately diagnosed the issue, gave me an estimate of the cost and took my car in. Felicia, the service manager took me to a local B&B, called in the part and said it would be ready to go the next morning. It was done as promised, there were no problems. I think they have the best car repair i have seen in my life. I had a small clunking noise in my car, I took it to CarX auto in normal. They told me it needed ball joints replacement and would cost me 800$. I took it to reiger motors and they fixed the sway bar links for just 133$. These guys are super honest and nice. I cant believe how much price difference there was. I have lived in many countries but havent seen better car repair. Its even cheaper than car repair in countries like india and china. read more

I recently took my Terrain in for tires and "steering wheel jiggle". I let them know that I wanted the most "cost-effective" tires for my vehicle and they were able to provide me with quality tires at a fair price.
