Total cost was 160 dollars, including dry cleaning, which is less than half of buying a blazer at buck mason or something these days. The shop is small and unassuming. It's on the lower floor of a two story strip mall right in the prime Tujunga area odd moorpark. Bonus is you can free park in their lot! The owner doesn't speak the best English. But we got along just fine and you can tell he is a real pro. There is a sign that indicates a 4% charge for credit or debit. I get it. It's a small business being hosed by the credit card companies. So bring cash if you want to save a little $$$. I hope this business grows and excels. It's nice to have a local old tailor that's fast and affordable nearby. They also offered to sew the back pockets closed. Was charged $30 to fix. Brought another pair of the exact same shorts a little while later, for the same repair. Was charged $50. I questioned the price for the same fixes. They agreed to reduce payment. This weekend, I take the shorts out of storage and find that the back pockets weren't sewn shut on first pair of shorts. On the second pair, they sewed the pocket liner in backwards and left a hole in the pocket. I should've double checked before I left, that's on me. but I'm not inclined to go back for alterations.

I contacted many other establishments but they quoted me very highly or would not have been able to get to my ideal turn-around time for my rushed order. Same-day pick up for hemming a pair of sweatpants came out to $20 which was a great price for the quality and speed (I only had to wait 15 minutes in my car for my pants to be ready). Any dry cleaning, or alterations I request are ready before promised. Turn around time is impressive. They have a good amount of staff on premises around the clock. There is a reason they have been in business so long, and have a loyal customer base....Consistency One thing to note is they are more expensive in comparison to other dry cleaners. However, Milt & Edie's is located in a high traffic, nice area that is quite expensive real estate. Also they employ a large number of employees with some days open 24/7. That results in a premium rate for location, shop hours and quick turn around time. Like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for", at Milt & Edie's you get fast and quality service, great customer care, with convenient location and extended hours. I have seen 20% off coupons for M&E on the back of the local Vons store receipts. Those on a budget, or use them frequently, these are a good coupons to look for and retain.
