I have trust issues with mechanics, as many women of a certain age may have. I also know a little more about cars than I let on, and like to toss out some bait to check responses ;) These guys were definitely honest, no up-selling or trying to do unnecessary work. The cost of parts was on the low end of average, labor costs were totally reasonable. Of course they charged a fair price for the thorough inspection, but I needed the information and they helped me prioritize how to stay on the road and when to expect the right time to cut my losses, because I have a few costly repairs on the horizon for my Mercedes with over 200k on it. They DEFINITELY could have up sold, but actually advised me against a repair that could likely be postponed while I decided how long I wanted to keep the car before trading it in. I brought my car in about a month or so ago because I had the check engine light on and some problems accelerating and turning my car on. I ordered my own parts and they offered me a very fair price for replacing all of my spark plugs and ignition coils - way cheaper than other places were quoting me for the same labor. A few weeks later I noticed my car was still running a little funny, so I brought my car back in for them to run diagnostics and see what the problem is. Turns out nothing is really wrong with my car and they explained why I thought there was a problem (I don't know anything about cars) and reassured me that my car was just fine. They didn't even charge for the diagnostic. If you are having problems with your car, bring it here! They are very kind, thorough, and will not take advantage of you. Took my 04 GS here for a full front suspension overhaul and coilover install. The price was better than other shops quotes so I ended up taking my car there. The owners are friendly and professional and the shop is clean. I had one issue with my passenger side upper control arm where they installed it backwards so the steering was completely off. When I took it to the alignment shop they saw that the uca was installed backwards, they said with the spc uca's sometimes the factory install the ball joints on the same side so you just need to flip one. I took it back, they fixed it within a few hours and they paid for the first alignment and were very apologetic. Was able to get it properly aligned and now the car drives like a dream. Very happy with the outcome and would definitely cone back as the price was better than most shops and the owners are trustworthy, Just need to improve the quality control. read more

That and I didn't like how I saw one of the mechanics and his smoking buddies leaning on my car. Friendly staff and they do fast work, but I rather go to a gas station and spend $50-80/hour for labor instead and not $100. read more

walk in to this shop on 3/28/20 in the afternoon to have my wife car check regarding the Check System Warning light. I asked them if they Can fix it? Kelvin & Baki told me to bring the car inside so they can check. as soon as they see the Check System warning pop ups to the dash screen. oh it's a tire Pressure! then one of them grab the air hose and check all my tire pressure n inflated all the tires. there you go... the check system warning disappear on my Wife lexus is350. My 2017 Audi A3 Etron flat tire warning light came on. I pulled into K&B to have it checked out and repaired if needed. Kelvin checked the tire and there was no obvious damage, nails or air leakage. He checked the pressure and it was fine. Then he proceeded to check all four tires and determined the sensor just needed to be reset. Before I left he topped off the tires. No charge!!! I was able to reset the warning light and it has been fine for several months now. Kelvin had no idea I use to be an auto technician myself 20 years ago. The work he did was excellent and thorough. They are very reasonable on there pricing, had an egr valve replaced for less than $200 dollars, car wouldn't pass smog because check engine light wS on and they were the most affordable place, my heater is broke so I will take it there in a few months.
