He sold me 50 pieces for a very reasonable price & I was very happy. He is there Tuesday - Thursday. He suggested I come back on those days so he could give me a good deal. Thanks Eddy !! RA

Although we were located in the west coast and I was only able to connect via phone and email, the team at Hacker Greenwich did really amazing work. If you want your kitchen done fast and cheap; go somewhere else. If you want it done just once and beautifully; make an appointment with Maya. I have done 5 kitchens over my life and this was by far the best one. A few things you should know regarding a total redo of a kitchen like we did. 1-The process will take time, probably longer than you think, and you can not rush it 2-It will cost more than you think for crazy things you will pick out later in the process. I just spent $112 for special electrical faceplates on Amazon because they were gorgeous. Hacker Kitchens is responsible for cabinets, appliances (which are frequently incorporated into the cabinets), backsplash and countertops. You may need a general contractor for specialities like electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc. She may be able to help with recommendations or I would be happy to share names of the professionals that I used in the NY, CT area. If you speak with Maya and want to see a finished kitchen, ask her to call Louis or Susan. We would be proud to show you.

These employees are not doing their job in a timely manner at all--zero urgency, zero efficiency, just slow, half-assed work that drags everything out. When I finally called them out, they had the nerve to say they were "preparing my order." My entire pallet took them under 3 minutes once they bothered to actually touch it. A pickup order is supposed to be ready before the doors even open--not left hanging because the staff can't finish basic work on time. These people love to act like they run a polished, professional operation. Reality check: it's pure chaos run by people who clearly don't care about doing their jobs promptly. More disorganized than a business run by children. I'm furious they wasted 40 minutes of my time because the crew preparing orders refuses to work at a normal speed. Avoid this place if you value your time at all.

I…read moreoriginally wanted to do it myself for the satisfaction and to save some money but time constraints and never having done one before I figured it would be easier to leave it to the professionals. Led me to Hope Kitchens, only because I remember seeing the store while passing it multiple times on Hope street. Went in and met with one of the employees, was very strait forward and not up in your face like many salesman which was a good start. Had them come measure and went over the quote a few days later. Had 2 other quotes for more money; one place had poor quality cabinets in the show room which turned me off, the other one was " custom" for about 4x the cost from Home Depot. Scheduled the install and 2 weeks later everything arrived, was installed in one day and the counters came 3 days later along with the sink. Came home from work and was very impressed and satisfied. The kitchen looked great and I wouldn't have done much different looking back. Overall i'm happy, has only been 2 weeks so I cant speak much of the longevity or finish but it appears very solid. They did order the wrong cabinet above my range and I had to buy a vent hood but that was only a minor error on their end. Maybe a minor language barrier or miscommunication. I'd recommend anyone looking for an affordable kitchen to check this place out. They did a great job and were friendly before and after the sale. I'll be buying more places in the near future and know where i'll be doing my kitchens, thanks Hope Kitchens!

He is honest, his prices reasonable, and he truly cares for his work and making you happy. When we first started I felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work that needed to be done to renovate a 30 year old dentist office with 7 rooms to a modern beautiful spa like Acupuncture office. Everything needed to be gutted and replaced. We had to demo everything to its bones, tear up carpets and tiles, remove large pieces of walls in each room and then rebuild walls, doors, replace flooring, lights and everything to modernize and give it that spa like feeling. I was stressed....Until I talked with Fernando and we discussed the project and plans going forward. There are some people that instantly make you feel calm, relaxed and like everything is going to be okay. Fernando is one of those people. He is a true gift. The calm I felt was continually delivered over the time of the renovation as his team quickly went to work and my office moved along exactly along the time table he projected. I never saw people work so hard, fast, and efficiently. I trusted Fernando and his team 100%. I always felt heard and listened to, even as we assess and changed quite a few things through the process. I truly can't recommend Fernando enough, he made what I imagined a hellish process, easy, simple and relatively stress free.

Top quality, reasonable price, incredibly fast, and on top of all that nice and easy to work with. For more detail I should write some background. When we moved to Croton in 2019, we had plans for updating and customizing our home. We tried really hard to find good contractors, having had bad experiences in the past. Unfortunately we kept having one bad experience after another. Bad quality, unfinished work, open permits, huge delays, big increases in cost from the estimates, and in general headaches for us to deal with. Fernando came in and fixed all our problems. Other contractors took 3 months to grade, install a basic stone wall, and dig a hole for a rain garden. Then they quoted us $45k to finish the work. When we said that was too high they left us with a mess. Fernando took 6 days to do that same work for half the cost. Then on top of that he fixed a huge mistake the other crew made on the rain garden and installed a good system that makes us much more confident our home is protected from big storms. The whole time he was much more transparent about materials and cost and timing than anyone else we dealt with. We're hoping that he's available for all our future projects and so happy that we finally found such a great contractor. Don't hesitate to choose Vista Construction, and you're welcome to visit our place anytime if you want to see how nice his walls look. One of them is even half his work and half the other crew for a perfect comparison.
