We started with the deviled eggs, and they were definitely different, but good! Just a heads up, if you're not a mustard lover, these probably aren't for you. They're heavy on the mustard and mustard seeds, so that flavor really stands out. Now, on to the main attraction: the shrimp and grits! Let me tell you, these are NOT your typical shrimp and grits. I gave the plate a little side eye when it came out because I was trying to figure out where the grits were! Turns out, they make theirs with grit cakes, and what a pleasant surprise! This was my first time having grit cakes, and they did not disappoint. Such a different take on a classic dish, and I absolutely loved it. Sometimes restaurants try to put their own spin on something and it just doesn't work, but JWB Grill got this one right! Service was another plus! Outdoor seating was a nice vibe. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and the service was fast. It's always nice when you can enjoy a good meal without a long wait, especially when the staff makes you feel right at home. Overall, a great experience! I'd definitely come back, and those shrimp and grits would be at the top of my list to order again! read more

After dinner on Broadway, we stopped by JWB Grill at Margaritaville for a nightcap, and we're so glad we did! Our bartender, Andrew, was exceptional. He was attentive, personable, and made some of the most delicious cocktails we've had. His friendly service and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression on us. The live music was another highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the performer's name, but he mentioned he was filling in for someone else. What an incredible talent! He created such a great atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. If we're ever back in Nashville, JWB Grill will definitely be one of our must-visit spots. Highly recommended! read more

Server we had to keep flagging down to help us and it wasn't busy at n there at 9:30 at night on a Monday. I asked i'm out the pork chop. She swear it was good when it came. I was scared. Why was it so black? She says it was that seasoning you'll like it. It tasted like burnt coffee was the dry rub. Yes I sent it back and just got a burger. Maybe laugh was when she said what's wrong with it and I said look at it. It speaks for itself. You couldn't even cut off the dry rub. It was cooked into the meat unbearable. The burger however was ok at best probably won't be back read more

JWB Grill was a great little find in Nashville, tucked right into the Margaritaville Resort. The staff were wonderful and really knew their way around the menu and the drink list. We started with a few of their seasonal drinks, and they were all made just right without being too overbearing or sugary. For food, we started the table off with the jalapeño deviled eggs and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were really appetizing and served as a solid start to the meal. When it came time for the main course, my wife and I went with the wagyu skirt steak and the huli huli chicken since our waitress recommended them. We weren't disappointed one bit. Both dishes were full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. If we had to pick a favorite between the two, we actually think the huli huli chicken won out, so definitely give that a try if you go. The rest of the night was just as good. They had live music playing, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to check this place out in the first place, and the overall ambiance was very cute. It was a great experience all around, and I will definitely head back there whenever I'm back in Nashville. read more

Came to Nashville for my girlfriend's bachelorette weekend and we stayed at the Margaritaville Hotel. We had dinner at the JWB Grill on our first night. Great food! I highly recommend the grilled shrimp. SO GOOD. I came back before my flight and got drinks at the bar. Shoutout to Andrew and Liv for taking care of me! Overall, highly recommend and would come here again for dinner and/or drinks. read more

We dipped off the main drag & saw this place & decided to go in for one last round. That last round, lasted for a few more ;) & the bartenders totally had something to do with it. Liv & Andrew were amazing! It was our last stop on our vacation & it is definately a memorable one, thanks to these 2 ;) read more

I throughly enjoy my meal at JWB grill. Friendly staff that were very welcoming. I really like the outdoor seating with the heated patio even though it wasn't cold at all (at least for a person from the north east). I ordered the breakfast burger and I was not ready for the size of the burger. The cheese sauce was a great addition and really brought the burger over the top for me. Of course the burger meat was flavorful and juicy. The home fries were excellent with great texture and crisp. The next time I'm in Nashville I will definitely be returning here. read more

The food was amazing and Fayza was amazing. Great atmosphere. I would eat here again. The entire staff to include Gill are great.

I visited a few nights back and when I went to tip the artist, he said that I had to scan the QR code for his tip. When that happened, I found out that I was being charged a processing fee for tipping him. I asked the artist why and he said that's just the way it is now!!! Well let me tell you what, I think that's just fucked up that I'm being charged a processing fee to tip the artist. To me, the venue is fucking the people that come on a regular basis to listen to artist play their hearts out. My question is, why are you charging a fee when other venues don't??! If this doesn't stop, I'll take my business elsewhere and if anyone asks me about your establishment, I'll simply be honest and say that you have shady practices and end up screwing the patrons.if I could rate this place no stars I would for the way they are treating the artists. read more

Andrew and Olivia were nothing short of amazing. Attentive, personable and fun bartenders. Fins up!

Should have known as we stepped up to the hostess stand and waited 5 min for someone to come seat us. The place was mostly empty. Host said they were not serving alcohol as we were seated. Server was friendly and prompt with menus. I ordered the smoked chicken salad and my companion ordered the wagu steak sandwich with fries. My salad was among the worst I've ever had out. Too much dressing, too much of the same type lettuce. Just a poorly put together salad. My companion's sandwich was smothered in cheese. Too much cheese and she thought the sandwich was too salty. I tried half of her sandwich after removing half the cheese. Taste was ok and so was the bun, but the meat was not all that tender. If that's wagu, then...no thank you. Seating area is nice and comfortable. But not sure I'd visit again. read more

Can't give a full review of this place because my wife and I just sat at the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers. But from what we did experience Shelby the bartender made the best Bloody Mary she ever tasted and the pink lady with the dragon tattoo drink I got was very good too . Only thing is I'd have to drink a lot of them just to feel like they had any alcohol in them . And the deviled eggs were basic and there were only 6 halves which means 3 eggs for $14 is expensive. read more

Horrible waitress with attitude was unknowledgable about the combination meats in the burger. Shareable margarita comes in a large glass, not a pitcher and was really too sour to drink without adding sweeteners for all three of us. We asked for a pitcher so we could pour it into three separate glasses and they don't have one pitcher in that entire restaurant besides the one they use for water! The food was unremarkable. read more

Fayza was a great waitress...friendly. Food was good sitting outside on a warm Nashville morning.

Stopped for breakfast due to the Convenience of being next to the Airbnb we were staying at. I got the breakfast sandwich unfortunately the biscuit was a little hard and lacked flavor. It did come with bacon and another meat type patty. Overall just a fair breakfast. read more

We tried this restaurant while in town. It was close to our hotel so we were able to walk, which was nice. We are a family of 4, and while prices are already high in Nashville, the dinner/dessert here was pretty pricey. Dinner and dessert cost us over $300.00. Deviled eggs were very tasty. We ordered a steak which at $40.00, and it was great! The rainbow trout was good but there were bones. The greens had good flavor. Dessert was alright. The key lime pie didn't have much lime flavor. read more

We went to the bar around 7pm last night. They referred us to their upstairs restaurant (Fin's) because they said it had more food options. The menu did have more options, but was primarily made up of burgers, tacos, bbq, and appetizers. There was a couple at the bar. The vibe could be cool as it was open air next to a pool. It took the bartender/server about 10 minutes to address us. He was friendly and personable. We ordered burgers, bbq sandwich, and chicken tacos at the recommendation of the server. The burgers were great. The bbq was served warm and the meat was dry. Flavor was good. The chicken tacos lacked flavor. The pineapple salsa had little flavor and the pineapples tasted watered down. In summary, the tacos were NOT good. In summary, I would not recommend this restaurant with all the nearby restaurants that have great food and a cool vibe. read more

EDI was an amazing server! The food and ambience at the grill were great. We had a lovely brunch experience.

This was the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant. The server was incredibly rude and literally just stood there and stared at us when we ordered. Did not bring us water, check on us once and rolled her eyes when she brought the check and walked away. We had to go pay at the bar because she never came back. The food was okay but due to the service I would never return. The manager should hole his staff more accountable. read more

Party of 5 arrived 8p and sat in the dining room and immediately was met with a server who stood behind us to take out order she refused to even face the party.... food was OK but service was absolutely inexcusable. We asked if they were closing and was told no, but yet she never asked us if anyone wanted another round of drinks went so far as to give us bills before we even finished eatint and stood there asking for our plates while we were still eating.... zero stars big mistake on their part we would have tipped big and ordered dessert but never even got a chance.... if I was their manager id be embarrassed to even say they worked under me. ZERO STARS Ps margarita tucked too read more

After experiencing the craziness (but fun) of Broadway, it was a welcome relief to relax at the JWB Grill. Although I can't review the food, I can tell you that the drinks and atmosphere are spot on! The atmosphere is cozy yet a bit upscale and the cocktails are delicious! We ordered a few tasty drinks, grabbed seats on the patio, and listened to a little live music. Drinks were a little pricey, so we did limit ourselves to one each, but they tasted great and were very well made. Definitely a great way to end a day in Nashville! read more

Fantastic beautiful restaurant. Fairly new hotel that was just opened 2019 before covid hit. Restaurant itself just opened 3months ago. The hotel place felt tropical and beachy. Restaurant service was very pleasant and attentive. Cocktails drink was fruity and delicious. Definitely a fan of Making waves drink. Spinach artichoke was creamy and wasted no food. Scraped to the bottom. Rainbow trout cooked well. Tasted just like chicken. And the steak was plentiful. Rooftop bar located on the 4th floor. They also have live music. And the pool area seatings was relaxing. read more

Bartender was by far the most rude individual I've ever come across. Told my wife when asking for the restroom that he wasn't the bathroom attendant and to ask the front desk. We were just there to get drinks! When I told him he was rude to my wife he shrugged his shoulders and said oh well. Customer service should not be this way read more

My BFF and I had a girls night out and JWB did not disappoint!!! We sat outside on the patio. They have a great space: lots of fans, open air, lights, cover in case of rain... all good things. There was even live music which is always a plus in Music City! We started out with cocktails that were super smooth. No kickback which means they were made well. For our starters: Pimento Cheese Hushpuppies and Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Guys. They were amazing. The Hushpuppies... omg. I don't even like pimento cheese and these were so so good. We split a chicken Caesar salad for our entree and they even brought it out on two separate plates! So kind!!! Then ended the night with delicious carrot cake. I really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. They didn't make us seem like they were in a hurry or eager for us to leave. I respect that. I suggest trying this place out if you're looking for a spot while in Downtown Nashville. read more

I have never once in my life had to walk out of a restaurant after ordering the food after such a rude comment made by waiter Tony. We had ordered an appetizer and then I went to order my main course and he said "you sure ??? That's a lot of food". I said excuse me ??? He said that's a lot of food you sure you need all that ? I can sympathize that maybe they were short staffed but he was extremely RUDE. The bartender Patrick was by far the best bartender I've been served by. He was very friendly, personable & attentive. He was very busy and the only one there. I asked about the grand margarita cuz I wasn't sure about the egg white. He gave me other options as well as telling me why it made the drink with an egg white. So I ordered it and loved it!!! I also bartend back home in illinois and really appreciate above & beyond service. We had no plans to come back here this trip but will be back just to see Patrick & get this marg! He also recommended the key lime pie.... So I had to order it to take togo for my sisters bday celebration in our air b & b. 10/10 Eric the Gm delivered my key lime pie and was very friendly and welcoming. read more

The GM Marcus is very rude not only to his coworkers but as well to the customers.
