JWATCH repair man broke the nob off the watch.
    Kaeli A.

I brought my husband's Tag Heuer watch to JWATCH to get a new battery. They broke the nob on the side (the one you use to change the date and time). I also brought my heart rate monitor watch for a new battery and it works just fine. I think this place is okay for lower end watch models, but my husband's $2k Swiss watch did not make it. Had to take to Tag Heuer store on 5th Ave for a $236 repair job.

My TAG Heuer aqua racer chronograph has not been working correctly for a while so i decided to have it looked at. After sending it to TAG and going to other watch resellers i was frustrated and did not think it was cost effective to get watch fixed. I decided to look one more time in my neighborhood and JWatch came up with great reviews. I decided to go and try them out and they did not disappoint. I had an overhaul done on the watch and from the minute i stepped in they were very professional . They gave me a quick estimate and one week later ( actually less ) they had the watch ready for me. The watch looks brand new and all the chronograph functions are working and it was completely cleaned and working properly. (I like to add that they are reasonably priced) Thank you JWatch for your professionalism and quick turn around. Now to learn how to use all the chronograph functions correctly :)

Ask the Community - JWatch USA

Does J watch repair watch with faulty mechanism, Like the hands wont move when I turn the pin to set the time?

It's next to impossible to answer. My experience is that they'll admit what can or cannot be done. Because Jaime the proprietor is very approachable, I'd defer my answer to her.

I chose them over a competitor twenty-five miles closer to me because of their reputation for honest dealing and skilled service technicians. Over the past twenty years, I have found this to be the case. I recently replaced my original dw with a new Asko from Ackerman's, whose technician and I ran into problems that called for an oscillating saw (neither of us had one and it would have taken an hour to locate and obtain one from a neighbor) but were solved with hammer, chisel, muscle, and skill (none of it mine). Really impressive.

I had my tractor serviced and have had a very different experience entirely. For starters they are 6 months behind in servicing anyone because they have one mechanic someone quit and they don't see a need to replace them. I called in October and I just got a call last week. It has been 4 months. They picked up the machine for service. They informed me the tie rods were broken and it would be 1200 more. I said thats fine proceed. A day later they called me and said another part was broken its 300 and an hour labor. I agreed again. My bill came to 14 hours of labor. The tune up of the entire machine and all its systems was 4. The tie rods and housing were ten? I find out later they had the new helper that is in training working on my machine. The extra part I had to pay for is clearly something they broke while taking it apart which is why I didn't hear about it until the next day. I have tried to find where replacing tie rods is over three hours but cannot. When I asked the technician why so long he responded that well we had to wait for the parts? Was I paying for labor while we waited? My tractor isn't practice for your trainee. How dare you. Worse experience ever. If you are lonely and you want to chat up an old man at the tractor store well then yes this would be the place to go. It's that nice country feel. When I asked the owner why did I have to wait 4 months to get the machine in, his response was well I waited a month and a half for an oral surgeon! Poor dear, you can go to someone else, I needed a kubota dealer and did t really have a choice. Not to mention hey that's your mouth that is disgusting go to the doctor for the love of God. Its that backwoods country bumkin mentality that makes this a dying business. Shame on you. Shame on this. No excuse for a business. 14 hours labor?

We shopped at 3 different hot tub showrooms and Royal Pools and Spas was the only one to offer a "wet test." (Thank you, Leslie!) I really wanted to see if we could clearly feel the effect of these cool interchangeable "jet packs." The answer is YES! You must experience the Four Oscillator 201 jet pack. It really gives you a kneading back massage, as long as you want, where you want it. The waterfall, beyond being merely cool, really gets hot water to muscles on the upper neck and back of the head. When you turn off the waterfall feature, it has 4 firm jets which really get into your back. The Neck Blaster jet pack does the job well. You will want 1 lounge chair, but you don't need 2. The lounge chair gets jets on your legs, feet and back, at the same time. Besides being relaxing, warming and de-stressing, it provides real hydrotherapy for sore muscles after vigorous exercise, yoga, muscles damaged from surgery, aches and pains from previous car accident or other trauma, arthritis, etc. The design and engineering of the bullfrog hot tub are praise-worthy. I appreciate all the thoughtful details: the external and internal lights, lighted cup rests, arm rests, wrist jets, hip jets, foot jets, control valves on each jet pack, easy to understand control panel. Kudos! Hey Bullfrog designers and engineers: Could you possibly relocate the bottom drain from the bottom of the sidewall to the flat bottom of the tub for better draining, so we don't need to use buckets, a shop vac or spa pump to drain the water? Royal Pools provides a starter spa chemical kit, steps to get in and out, a cover and lifter arm. Make sure to ask for the handrail, too. You will need and use it. BONUS: As an experienced CPA tax specialist in Staatsburg, NY, I can say that this spa is definitely TAX DEDUCTIBLE, by individuals and businesses, according to the Internal Revenue code. Make sure you take advantage of this. What could be better than a government tax deduction/subsidy of YOUR hot tub? Now, we spend more time outdoors, during the day and at night, and we feel better. This hot tub was one of the best decisions we've ever made! Thank you, Royal Pools and Bullfrog. Best wishes, Robert Greene CPA CMA

We moved up to Carmel this past spring - the previous owner of our house had tried for weeks to set up a cleaning, but couldn't get anyone to respond, so they purchased a gift certificate from Schech's for the cost of opening the pool and gave it to us when we closed on the house. My husband called several times and tried to get someone from Schech's service to commit to an appointment. After receiving no reply, he made a trip to the store in person. The salespeople said they would communicate with service, but we never received a reply. I finally sent an email to the website to see if anyone would reply, and received a response from Barbara Schech-Freer. I replied that we had a gift certificate and were extremely flexible on which date the opening would take place, only asking that they put us on the schedule as soon as possible. A week went by with no response, so I emailed a final time to ask for the cash value of the gift certificate, since we were forced to go elsewhere to have the pool opened. No reply to my second email was ever received. I understand that it's a very busy time of year for the business, but it shouldn't be this challenging to receive a simple reply. If they had told us they weren't able to take us on as a client, I would have understood and not written this review. To completely ignore us this way speaks volumes about the importance they place on customer service, and so I suppose it's just as well we signed a contract with Strongman Pool Service instead. Strongman's team is prompt, thorough, reliable, and reasonable. They send us an email with a photo of our pool after every service call, along with detailed notes about what was done and results for each water test. If you own a pool in Carmel, you have options other than Schech's. Based on my experience, I highly recommend you explore those other options.
