I have to say hand on heart they are a breath of fresh air in the industry and if you are a landlord having constant issues with your current agent, take my advice and dump them as they never improve. Having attempted to sell this property for over a year, without success, I reluctantly became a landlord and am now very glad I did so. I approached several letting agencies but went with 9% Property Management because they made the first and immediate reply. I remain very happy that I did so. As a newcomer to this field, I was grateful to be taken in hand in a friendly manner and made aware of the essentials needed from me as a responsible landlord. These tasks completed, they found and vetted excellent tenants, who moved in less than three weeks after my initial approach to 9%. It has been truly hassle free I think seamless is the current phrase. 9% Property Management continue to manage this let in their unobtrusive but efficient manner. Very poor customer service. They wasted our time and money. We had to call them several times and…read moreask to speak to the manager only to find out that the current tenant had cancelled the viewing. The manager just informed us of the cancellation and offered a token apology. I would not recommend RentLocally to anyone - they simply don't care about their customers. My partner and I had an extremely unpleasant experience with RentLocally today. We booked a viewing and travelled from Glasgow to West Calder in rush hour traffic and gale force winds only to be stood up their agent. We had to phone the agency three times and speak to a manager to find out that the current tenant did not give permission for us to view the property. The agent had made one attempt to contact us 20 minutes before the scheduled viewing from a private number which we could not call back.

Yet another letting agents…read more They're the most cheerful looking ones I've come across, which isn't saying much but just look at that exciting purple exterior and the name itself. Mind blowing. You may be able to deduce that I'm a little frustrated with MY letting agents at the moment so it's unfair to take it out on Umega. I noticed that they let out flats for the festival; having just experienced my first Fringe Festival, it's definitely worth coming down for but I'm not sure I'd sign such a contract for it! Umega's located in one of my favourite parts of Edinburgh, Marchmont.
