Following my terrible experience and that of my neighbors, I doubt it will last much longer. Called for a leaking carbon monoxide (CO) issue with an existing steam boiler that was promptly addressed by the company. However, after their visit, the CO continued to be emitted from the boiler through CO detectors, prompting the fire department and PSE&G to intervene, who also detected high readings. Today, I called to inform them that CO detection was still ongoing. The owner, an angry, short-tempered know-it-all, cut me off and yelled, "NO, THERE IS NOT, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS MY ENTIRE LIFE. WE FIXED THE PROBLEM. PAY THE INVOICE AND WE WON'T HAVE ANY ISSUES." I firmly told him that his attitude was unacceptable and that I would not pay until the issue was resolved. He laughed manically and said, "THANKS FOR SAYING THAT YOU WON'T PAY, BUDDY. THIS CALL IS RECORDED" before hanging up. I called back and calmly reiterated that I will not pay without resolution and that following his anger and yelling, I wasn't sure I trust them to touch the boiler again. The owner laughed again, said "GREAT, WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS", claimed that I didn't have to pay the invoice, and hung up again, likely because he realized he was in the wrong. It's unfortunate that the company's initial kindness turned sour when there was any potential for accountability or conflicts with their labor. I will recommend this company only to people I hate. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I noticed water trickling in our basement storm door later on, but it was also raining on and off that week, so I thought that might be the cause. I observed for a couple of days and it was definitely coming from our kitchen sink because it was soapy water. I called them and the guy was extremely rude, didn't want to admit they damaged anything, and not willing to work on a solution. Poor customer service.

I understand the value of time, but the actual work we need it ended up being $1200 + which we would have done with him if he didn't try to guilt trip us into spending money on something we could have waited a day or 2 . The plumber left pissed off , I still asked him to send me the estimate to do the work he recommended and he NEVER DID. That's why we had to call another company. This was the most uncomfortable feeling. So when Brandon commented on my town's Facebook page offering help with my faucet issue, I took down the number... but waited. I tried to fix it myself (I know, not the brightest idea -- the cut on my thumb agrees). Eventually, I had to admit I was out of my depth and gave Brandon a call. The situation started off with a big mess: our sewer pipe had clogged. Most homeowners in this area…read more- especially those with older homes, like ours - know how touch and go that old terra cotta piping can be. We were having to pour chemicals down the pipe often to keep the roots from growing in and blocking the pipe up. Well, first things first: Kevin from Speedy got here the same day as the pipe clog, and fixed the situation very quickly (and was a nice gentleman to boot). He did a scope of the pipe -- not only did he show me where the roots were coming through the old pipe, but even where a buildup of heavy-ply TP can clog your galvanized piping as well. Then -- the big reveal: a huge hole in the terra cotta section, about 25 feet down the pipe (near halfway to the city sewer). If that pipe broke, it would cost nearly $25,000 to excavate, replace and repave the entire driveway -- and now, we knew it was just a matter of weeks. Kevin then told me of a new bladder lining system that they could put down the pipe, and with high-pressure steam, it would inflate and create a hard shell (much like a pipe) on the insides of the existing pipe. And this stuff couldn't be penetrated by roots. Nuh-uh. Today, Eric (the manager) and his crew came to the house to install the liner; it worked like a charm. Now, I never have to worry about that pipe again -- and neither will the next owner (a very seriously nice selling point in this area, for sure! I absolutely love making improvements to my house that I know will help with resale, and will be appreciated by the new owners) Speedy did the job properly, taking safety precautions, and came in before deadline and under budget. Not having the dishwasher and kitchen sink made caring for this loved one very difficult. Tried several companies expressing our need for urgent solution. Garner Brothers (Anthony specifically) answered promptly, arrived the next day and within 4 hours the old drainpipe was removed, repaired and dishwasher and sink in working order. We were impressed with Garner Brothers' compassion, prompt service, clean and complete repair and final cost which was more than reasonable. Highly recommend!!
