Terrible experience! Went in there for highlights 11/06/25, Judi (owner) went into great detail as to why I needed lowlights, not highlights. She proceeded to do lowlights on my hair. She made my hair so dark, I told her there were little to no highlights left. I mentioned to her that it was dark, she said give it some time, it will get better. Paid her $125 and left. Next day, I called her to tell her, I was not happy with the way my hair looked, she had wiped out my highlights. She proceeds to tell me that she can give me highlights and gives me an appointment for a week later 11/14/25, to come back. Went back, got the highlights and she expects me to pay for a mistake SHE made putting in lowlights. I tell her I am not paying again, she was the one that insisted I needed lowlights and it did not turn out well. I left her shop. Several days later, I receive a call from a police officer, Pearland Police. Judi has called the police and wants $150, for the highlights, or she's filing charges. Never mind HER bad decision making. Needless to say, she was paid, and this was chalked down to a very bad experience. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. read more

I was hesitant about trying a new salon. I just wanted a haircut and since my hair was waist length I have trouble trusting stylists to not chop it off. But Jennifer did an excellent job during the shampoo process and Judy did a great job talking me through the cutting process. It took the lady 2 hours to cut my hair to what ended up being not worth the money. During the first hour, she cut it no where near my desired length and styled it according to her taste even though I showed her a picture. The next hour was not worth it either. I ended up at Visible Changes at the Galleria the next day. Got a much better stylist Devanhy for a cheaper price. FYI, customer service SUCKS! Don't bother calling them for a redo. read more

I had gone in asking for natural highlights without too much contrast in my naturally dark blonde hair and got the exact opposite of what i'd asked for, platinum white-blonde streaks throughout my head. I expressed that I was unhappy and came back into the salon 3 days later for her to attempt to fix it. She toned the highlights down one or two shades at most. Even after the second appointment, I was still not satisfied with the results. After both appointments at this salon, I noticed hair breakage on the parts she had bleached. And to top it all off, I paid $230 for the trim, highlights, and the toning, the toning of which I was charged for even though that was an attempt at fixing it. If I were a business owner, I certainly wouldn't make my customer pay for me to fix something they were unhappy with. read more

I am new to pearland and needed to get my roots and ambre touched up. I googled salons close to me and looked at the reviews. I found this salon and thought the reviews were decent and they all mentioned Judy (who is the owner) so I requested she do my hair.. she spent 2.5 hrs on my hair and the whole time telling me how terrible my hair was and how my last hair dresser was horrible at her job. When she was done my roots were orange and the old blonde pieces were purple! I complained before leaving and she said it will wash out but if it doesn't she will fix it. I paid $250 for orange and purple hair!!!!! I got home and called her right away after my whole family was in shocked at the state of my hair. She said she could get me in Friday to fix everything, she didn't leave the bleach on long enough and left the toner in for too long. The next day she called me to say she actually can't fix my hair but she will give me $40 back since she spent so long on my hair.. mind you $20 of it was my tip! This is seriously THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! Please if you care about your hair DONOT GO HERE!! read more

This is the 3rd hair salon I've tried since I moved to Houston 2.5 years ago. I would give each place at least 3-4 tries before I finalized my decision about the business. When walking in Judy always greets me. Do NOT go to this salon for color. I went in asking for a balayage and haircut, and they told me they could do it over the phone when I made my appointment. I already had one done at another salon back in October, just wanted it to be a little more noticeable. Boy do I regret my decision to go here. My hair got completely fried, Andrea cut 2 men's hair while my hair was being bleached (or processed), when she was done it was literally white at the bottom so it got covered with a dark color later. She never explained what she was doing, so I was in the dark the whole time, and she disappeared twice to talk to the other stylist about how it was supposed to look and how it wasn't looking like that. I could hear them talking. I was panicked. I was at the salon getting my hair dyed for 6 straight hours, 6 hours with color in my hair almost the entire time! My hair has splotches of color, it's completely fried and it isn't even a balayage after all of that. 6 hours and no hair cut because she had no idea what she was doing. My roots are orange, then I have random dark streaks in the middle. The bottom is green. Worst salon I've ever been to. I would go back and have them fix it, but they already ruined my hair once, I wouldn't be caught dead in there again. I'm sticking with someone I know this time and hope this saves you from ever going here! I had my hair halfway down my back, and now have to chop it short and dye it dark to fix this mess since it's so damaged now. read more

I wanted to post about my experience here. I went in for a full color at $65. My hair is thin due to health issues and is down to about the nape of my neck. I met with the stylist they assigned me.. she was young like fresh out of school young but seemed nice. I explained to her that I have cool/neutral skin tones and that no warm color can come near my head. She brought out a swatch book containing neutral/warm swatches. I said no these are too warm but her boss/manager explained that they would ash it out and it wouldn't like that after. I was still hesitant and told the manager that she was not listening to me the customer and told her that my hair will pull red when colored and it needs to be an ash color with a big A next to the number used not a neutral NN as I was being shown. She told me that she works with these colors all the time and she knows what it's gonna do and what she is doing like i was insulting her for arguing that the swatch was wrong for me. I should have left the salon at that moment but I didn't and I regret it. What I wanted was my natural color matched but the gray covered. That is not what I got. It turned the exact color of the swatch I was shown. Shocking! I also got a minor trim on my ends less than 1/2 inch. She showed me the aftermath and I said flat out that is not what i wanted and that it pulled warm. The manager said it was my hair's fault and that she could not fix it as she had put in the max amount of ash she could. The only thing I could do to fix it like I wanted would be too but in highlights. WTF! So I would have to pay more for them to fix this? No friggin way! So after staring at this warm mess of hair and showing both the stylist and manager where it was wrong but hearing nothing but excuses for about 10 minutes I realized I would not get any empathy from the manager because "she thought it looked good" I went to pay. $120!! Um what?! The website says that full color is $65+ and remember I had thin, medium length hair with zero color in it to start.. so why $120? My stylist was in no way a specialist Tier anything deserving of that kind of charge. Well it's $90 for the color and $30 for the haircut.. you mean the trim? It's not a cut and color they separate it to nickel and dime you. Remember she said I needed highlights to fix it so that would have been another $60+ maybe and she saw nothing wrong with it. Needless to say I did not tip. I explained to the manager that I was being overcharged and she got an attitude and explained that that is their price. I asked why I was not told it would be more up front before any service was done. She explained it is not her policy to discuss payment with clients before services are complete. So basically you are blindsided at the register.. awesome way to treat customers. I told her I was not happy and that none of what I got is what I asked for and all she said was "sorry" in an I don't care tone. She didn't even offer to try to fix the situation. I later called to explain that after being in natural lighting that I could clearly see that the color took way too warm and respectfully asked for a refund for just the $90 color. I was told the manager would call me back later in the day when she was not with a customer and I agreed to that but not surprisingly she never called. I'm still waiting for her to do the right thing but I doubt she will. It seems as if with this business it's all about money and not customer satisfaction. On a side note when I left I still had hair dye stain on my forehead and sides of my face and had to remove it myself at home because she had applied the dye about an inch onto my forehead and face I'm guessing to make sure that she got all the hair. There was no cotton barrier like most salons use to protect the skin and so I'm here scrubbing it off myself. And I can honestly say my hair looked better the way it was. read more

My visit to JV was pretty great I called and asked if she could squeeze me in for a simple cut and she was happy to take me in. She first asked what I wanted and showed me the exact amount she was going to cut which I loved. The salon is very clean and tidy. The front desk receptionist was polite and friendly as well. I recommend her as well because other places were going to charge me 60 for a regular hair cut meanwhile she charged me 35...almost half of the other places. 10/10 would let her do anything she recommended to my hair. read more

first of all, when I called to schedule my haircut the lady on the phone had a very "let's get this over with, I have better things to do" attitude about the entire thing when I arrived at the "salon" I wasn't greeted, wasn't looked at, was completely ignored for about 15 minutes eventually I was called up to a chair, given a silent haircut, literally, she asked me 3 questions during the entire thing, and none of them were personal, she didn't know my name until I had paid, that's when the other lady says "oh, you're the guy who called earlier" they took my money and I left with an uneven haircut that I'm not too impressed by haircut was cheap, but I would NOT return for a second go read more
