Yippie! That was my first reaction when I drove by this place and saw its schedule. I had pretty much given up hope that I would do any yoga at a studio while in Corona (without having to drive into OC). Why you ask? Because I like hot yoga (and not Bikram), I especially like Power and Yin, which are nearly impossible to find in this part of the Inland Empire. With my upcoming extended stay in Corona I was a bit sad, even sadder when I didn't find any hiking groups either, but that's another story. So when I drove by Just Yoga yesterday I was so happy to see that they had a heated studio, a great schedule, not just a sprinkling of classes here and there throughout the day, or an occasional intermediate class per week. And they had Yin! I went to the All Levels class. Damien is a good instructor offering variations on poses, helping you get into deeper stretches, and making adjustments to your poses. Although they don't have a Power class, you can still get in an awesome practice in Corona whatever your level. read more

I wont lie to you, I've been putting off writing this review because I wanted this little gem all for myself. It's a bit odd to think that a business can have a personality but when I say that the doors to this place welcome you, I truly mean it. The owners and instructors here have created a community based on practicing yoga but it is so much more than that. Each instructor is concerned about what is best for you and your body. Their registration form will ask if you've had any prior injuries but they'd prefer to talk to you about it. Not to judge you for your injuries but to help you through them and to make sure the poses won't make your injuries worse. For example, I've had some lower back problems and the instructors have given me some tips and alternatives to some poses that usually agitate my back. I've been to other studios that have a pretentious feel to them but you won't feel that here. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and experience levels come here to enjoy this judgment-free zone and I wouldn't have it any other way. Their pricing it pretty straight forward and they offer discounted packages. The community class is my favorite class right now but that's just because it is $5 per class, which is great on a tight budget! read more

Having only been to one yoga studio in my life, I'm afraid all others have much to live up to if I ever wanted to try a new one. Owners Damien and Lisa provide a personable, respectful atmosphere and a clean, comfortable exercise environment; whether you're a beginner or advanced student, first time at the studio or a regular, the staff treats everybody fairly and with a very positive vibe. You feel like a friend the first time you walk through the door! I haven't taken their classes yet, but the other students rave about them. Teacher Catherine is friendly and encouraging, while running a challenging class. She runs a strenuous 90 minutes that will leave you feeling just sore enough to let you know you earned a little personal reward... but does so in a way that has you smiling and feeling upbeat about the effort you just expended -- all while maintaining a balance between a student's physical, spiritual, and emotional beings. I'd definitely recommend her class! All in all, this studio is recommended if you're seeking a convenient location in the Corona area, but it's definitely worth a drive from Temecula, Riverside, Orange County, etc. The prices are very reasonable, and there are several packages to suit individuals' needs. read more

I've been meaning to write this place a review for a while - it is truly a wonderful yoga studio! The owners are both amazing teachers (Lisa & Damien). They are very warm, inviting and the 'All Levels' class is very challenging and fun. They always offer options, so even if you are newer to yoga, you could still really take any of the classes - except maybe Level 2-3 - I haven't been to one of those, and I imagine them to be really really hard ;). I love how each instructor does a little something different at the end of each class - Damien has this huge pearl colored bowl that makes this crazy sound that I'm not even sure how to describe - I don't know what it's called but it is so soothing. Shanda will come by to give you some of a incense smell. I went to Catherine's class for the first time yesterday and she lit a incense during shavasana which was really cool. Or sometimes you simply let the music take you to your happy place. I also love that the studio is heated (usually ~80-82 ish I think?) around the same temp for all of their classes. I personally am just not a big fan of bikram type yoga where it's 100 degrees. If I am working that hard in a 100 degree studio, I'm pretty sure I would faint. But believe me, you WILL sweat in these classes! Bring a towel - sweat rolling in your eyes sting! I don't know what yoga can't do for you - it benefits you in so many ways! It works on strength, flexibility, endurance, and is such a stress reliever. I'm so glad this studio is in Corona - it's a blessing! read more

I really love what the gentle yoga class does for my back. In gentle yoga, Damien, the teacher, likes to say it is gentle on your joints but that doesn't mean it is easy. She is really helpful in adjusting poses to suit what works for your body and working around any injuries you have. I've liked all the instructors I've had. Sandra and Lisa are great too. I had never been to a yoga studio before I started coming here. I had only been to yoga at the local gym. What a difference! I'm always recommending Just Yoga to my friends and family. I have been going to Damien's classes for over 10 years. She is the best! Love her playlists and her sense of humor is so twisted but in a good way! I'm sad that I moved so I no longer can attend her Saturday morning class. Hopefully I can squeeze in a weeknight class here and there! The facility is clean and they wash their blankets often. Being new to a yoga studio(before I only practiced at home with videos) I was extremely nervous! My fear was that I would be surrounded by stuck up students and equally as stuck up instructors. This place is the opposite! I felt welcome the moment I arrived. If you do the beginner type yoga classes you can go in and participate even if you previously knew nothing about yoga. Damien is a passionate and kind instructor. No judgement and relaxed environment. I did the new student unlimited yoga package and the restorative workshop. I had the best experience ever tonight! I did Damien's class and she is funny and has such a great personality! They really make sure to give those who are not as flexible or are new to Yoga modified positions and are very helpful. They even have reasonably priced classes... $14 for most but they have a Community Class that is only $5!!!! You can't beat that. I had begun doing yoga at age 64, about 14 months ago. I have gone to yoga at the senior center and then successively at 3 regular studios, one at a time. None of these disappointed me. There is a lot to learn in yoga, and one has to be open to new experiences. But this review is about Just Yoga. Earlier this year I had been wanting to find out more about becoming a yoga teacher myself. Through asking yoga teachers and speaking with Doug Moss at Green Tara yoga, who recommended the school at Just Yoga, I became interested in the program here. I would have gone with Green Tara, but Doug advised me that the teacher program at Just Yoga was very good, and much closer to my home in Lake Elsinore. But this review is not really about their Yoga Teacher Training. So, I checked out Just Yoga. The owners are two intelligent, wonderful and most importantly, CARING women. They are two of the instructors at the studio. I have been taking classes at Just Yoga for 4 1/2 months. I have never had a bad class. I have learned quite a lot about yoga. All of the teachers here are dedicated and top notch instructors. I have no reservations recommending Just Yoga to anyone. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. The people, like the teachers and owners are accepting. It's very nice to be able to do yoga in a studio where they are careful to help you do yoga competently and safely. Just Yoga is a find!!! All the ladies in the class were very friendly and encouraging and the instruction, Lisa, introduced herself to the newbies personally and asked if we had injuries or questions. I expected some OC women who are rude and selfish but everyone here was very real and down to earth. So about 6 weeks ago I tried my first class, boy was I blown away!! The work out was great and felt awesome after it was done. I am now a gold member and go usually 6 times a week! I have been doing yoga for 7 years now and have traveled to very distant parts of the globe to practice and never have I ever taken yoga classes even remotely similar to what Lisa and Damien conduct. The classes are the perfect amount of time, the instructors aren't afraid to manually give you modifications while you're in the poses (my personal favorite), they read the room really well so that the pace and intensity is just right, and the descriptions of their classes are spot on. I can't believe how many times I've attempted a new studio (i move constantly), and their course descriptions are literally nothing like the class. other little things that you would necessarily think of: the women at the front desk are always helpful, there are many classes available through out the day, the temperature inside the room is great, the music played is never so loud where it drowns out the instructor, everything is demonstrated and explained well (esp if doing inversions), and there are no distractions inside the studio because there are no windows and not a lot of noise around the studio in general. I miss this studio very much and highly recommend it to anyone passing thru corona, or who lives here permanently. Only request: please make a college student rate! read more

I just signed up for the 2 week trial for $25. So far I've taken 3 classes and I've really liked all of them. I'm a relative beginner and feel like i'm able to keep up. I will see how this second week goes for me. I tried their classes for a couple weeks before a yet, inevitable injury, damn my body....the staff there is the nicest and kindest bunch. A few of them called and emailed to check in on me and make sure i was ok. I found it very sweet. They have one room and its big enough for about 10-15. It does tend to fill up in there. I tried about 4 instructors and i liked all their classes. It's worth trying out. read more
