We just had a little stretch session on the reformer followed by the sound bowls. These scented towels were passed out before we began and we each got an amethyst crystal. I LOVED the sound bowls. Teri has this incredible way of balancing challenge and encouragement. Her cues are super clear, and she's always attentive to form and individual needs, which makes a huge difference. If you're looking for a Pilates class that pushes you in the best way and leaves you feeling amazing afterward, Teri is the one to take. Highly recommend!

The flexibility is a huge plus, I usually go during my lunch break, which works perfectly for my schedule. The trainers are attentive, encouraging, and willing to work with you. They correct your form. I told them about my back issues, and they helped me modify the exercises without making me feel pressured or uncomfortable. Just communicate how you're feeling--they really listen! As a mom, I also appreciate the little kids' area. I brought my son with me one day, and he had a place to hang out nearby while I got my workout in. That flexibility makes such a difference. The gym is clean, comfortable, and well ventilated, with the AC and fans going. There's plenty of parking, the equipment is available, and even the bathroom is clean and thoughtfully stocked. The owner is so kind and involved. She checks in with me about weigh-ins and measurements so I can track my progress beyond just the number on the scale, including changes in body fat, muscle, and inches. I did my research before joining, and this has been such a great fit for me. It's a positive, welcoming environment with people who support you. Highly recommend!

CrossFit introduced me to Olympic style weightlifting at first I was hesitant because it's very technical but the coaches are careful to monitor your form and teach you the correct movements. The community is also very supportive and everyone motivates each other to do better. We use Telegram, Zen Planner, and SugarWOD to communicate, schedule, and track progress. It's neat to see the leaderboard on the screens. CrownTown CrossFit makes working out fun as hell. The music they play is always really good too. My fitness goals for the year are to drop to a 30 inch waist and make it to the 1000 pound club.

This is equally a tough review to write and one that I couldn't wait to get to. Words, and limited…read morecharacter space can never truly express the level of gratitude, and admiration that I have for Unleashed and it's trainers. When I began my journey two months ago I was 135 lbs, and had a body fat percentage of 23%. My idea of a crunch was to grab the remote control without knocking my bowl of chips off my stomach. I had accepted that physical fitness just wasn't in the cards for me. My self confidence had begun to decline, which is a bad thing when your career is based upon making others feel confident and beautiful. I was scrolling Facebook and seen an ad for the gyms six week challenge and was intrigued. It was close to my salon, and I'd be able to go before work. Best of all it claimed to be a FREE six week challenge. Now like all things in life nothing is truly free without a catch. The fee for the challenge could be returned to you as long as you followed the guidelines and met your goal. I had a choice to make and let me add nothing is a better motivator than putting some serious cash on the line. I decided both for my self esteem, and my health that this was a decision I had to make. I needed guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement. I had joined other gyms in the past with the best of intentions; I'd go for a few weeks and get burnt out both with having no clue what types of workouts I'd be doing, and having zero accountability, and training. A lot of gyms like to play the family card and claim to have a membership that is full of encouragement and friendship. Unleashed however doesn't only claim it, they are. I've met so many wonderful and inspiring people outside of the trainers and that keeps me pushing to reach my next goal. There is people of all body types, and ages. Everyone always greets you, and helps encourage you when you're feeling that burn and contemplating giving up. I would have never been so successful if it weren't for people who have no idea how much they impacted me. I'm a researcher and after signing up I looked into just how reasonable 6% body fat loss on six weeks was. Needless to say the internet had me petrified I had just lost a lot of money. The average was 1% in 4 weeks. I needed a percent a week. I'm so very happy to say that it is more than possible. I followed the meal plan, never missed a workout, gave it 110% each time. Not only did I meet my initial goal, I surpassed it by double. As I type this review I'm currently down to 118 lbs, and a body fat % of 11.5. The meal plan was the hardest for me to change, yet has become a new way of life for me and my energy, and sleep have dramatically increased. Where I use to dread going to the gym I look forward to my early mornings and getting together with an extended family and pushing myself even further. If you're looking to change your life, and truly willing to follow the advice from some amazing people I highly recommend Unleashed. They changed my life and I can never truly express my admiration for the family I've joined. This is one decision you will not regret!!!!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this gym, and I feel that the way I have been…read moretreated has been disrespectful, intimidating, and racially insensitive. On a previous visit, I was specifically asked to scan my membership even though I had never seen other members being asked to do so. When I respectfully questioned why I was being singled out, the trainer responded aggressively and cursed at me, saying, "because that's the fucking rules." The situation escalated when other trainers became involved and started yelling at me as well. This happened in the middle of the gym in front of other members, and the police ultimately became involved. I reported the incident to management because I felt the behavior was completely unprofessional. I was told that something like this would not happen again. Unfortunately, I returned yesterday and experienced another situation involving the same trainer. I was simply trying to work out and deliberately chose not to engage with her because I did not want another confrontation. Despite that, she continued interacting with me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and as though another confrontation was being initiated. Then, people she was training began yelling at me from across the gym and calling me a "pussy." I also want to be clear that I am a Black member, and based on the repeated way I have been singled out, confronted, and treated compared with other members, I feel that there is a racial component to how I have been treated. I cannot speak to anyone else's intentions, but the pattern has made me feel targeted and discriminated against because of my race. That is extremely concerning to me. I should be able to enter a gym, work out, and leave without feeling targeted, intimidated, or unsafe. Trainers and staff should be creating a welcoming and professional environment for all members, regardless of race. I already brought my concerns to management once, and unfortunately, the same situation has continued. I hope management takes this seriously and investigates what happened rather than allowing members to feel targeted or uncomfortable in a facility where they are paying to work out.
