Just Thai still holds the crown for my favorite Thai restaurant! Annie is amazing as well as all the servers. Everyone is so friendly and treats you like family. We visit here at least every two months or so, and it has become our go to Thai restaurant. This place is so consistent, and I don't think there has been anything we have tried that we haven't been more than happy with. Obviously others feel the same because this quaint small restaurant often has at least a short wait for a table. Just Thai has lots of lovely teas and unique drinks. I also recommend speaking with Annie or any of the servers for recommendations on their menu. The son-in-law eggs are absolute perfection. They make the sauce in-house, and it's SO good. Be sure to check out the specials when you enter, because they often have lots of amazing dishes on the board. If you love squid/calamari, Just Thai offers many excellent dishes, and it's always fresh and cooked perfectly. Same can be said for any of the fresh fish dishes. They also cook up their tofu perfectly here, and it captures all the seasons and flavors of the dish. Their curries are delicious, and if you take leftovers of the curry home, you'll love it even more the next day. Don't forget to end your meal with the sticky mango and rice dessert. You will not be disappointed! Bottom line, Just Thai is amazing!!
Came here for lunch 2 days ago. Ordered my usual BBQ pork and crispy pork combo. My hubs ordered the Shrimp Pad See Ew, which was served with a generous amount of sauce, so soo good! We now know for Pad See Ew, shrimp is our preferred protein with extra sauce. For 2 people, we actually prefer to sit all the way at the end as it is more quiet.
Came here for dinner. Nice small restaurant. Typical Thai menu. Prices within range. Ordered wonton soup and a nice side salad. Dinner was shrimp fried rice and pan soon noodles with chicken. All the food came out very good and service was also excellent. Will be back.
Food is consistently fresh, delicious, and authentic Thai . Service is friendly and helpful . Ambiance is a very pretty Thai decorative vibe . Highly recommended as they will make your food to fit your dietary requirements.
The food was delicious! The servers were kind, and the ambience was charming, it transported you to feel like you were on holiday. We had a crab Rangoon, chicken, sauté, and I had the pad woon sen well my hubby had the papaya salad.
Needed to get back here... especially for the Roasted Duck. Got lucky -- they only had one left, and it was absolutely "worth the trip." Fantastic flavor, perfectly cooked, moist and tender... just outstanding. Everything else we ordered was also excellent, consistent with how strong this kitchen is across the board. We enjoyed Vegetable Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay (the peanut sauce is insanely good), Steamed Pork Gyoza, Chicken Kee Mow. Loved the homemade ice creams. Amber took great care of us again -- always a pleasure -- and a big thank you to owner Annie, the driving force behind this special spot. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We were heading over to Charm City for a quick dinner when we noticed a new Thai restaurant on Hillsboro Blvd. Since we're fans of Thai food, we decided to check it out. Parking is easy--just head around the back and you'll find plenty of space in the Publix lot. At 8:30 PM, the restaurant was full. We were told there'd be a 15-20 minute wait, and with the amazing aroma coming from the kitchen, we decided to stay. The space is small, about 10 tables, with a calming, zen-like atmosphere. It feels welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We started with the Tom Yum Goong soup--a light, flavorful broth with tomato, lime, lemongrass, mushrooms, and shrimp. It was good, though we wished it had a little more heat. Next was the Red Curry Chicken with bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and zucchini in a coconut milk base. The curry was smooth and comforting, but again, could've used a touch more spice to bring out the flavors. We also tried the Thai Basil with added squid. The squid was tender and well-prepared, but the basil sauce was on the milder side and could have used a bit more punch. One thing to note: if you're used to asking for less spice at Thai restaurants, you might want to do the opposite here. The flavors are subtle, so ask for more heat if that's your preference. Overall, the food was a little on the bland side, but it definitely has potential. We'll likely be back to give it another try--especially if they dial up the spice.
We were vacationing and found this cute Thai restaurant, which happened to be very close to the Airbnb we were staying. When we arrived, we realized the restaurant was quite small and there were maybe only 10 small tables. The establishment was clean, had traditional authentic decor displaying the Thai and Lao cultures and it was really cute. We ended up doing a take out order instead of dining in. My family is Laotian and the hostess was also Laotian so it was easy for us to communicate and talk about the items on the menu. We had several orders as we had a family of 9 with us. She was so patient and very accommodating. The service was really friendly and understanding. While we waited they offered us ice water and made us feel comfortable and relaxed, even though it was a long wait. They offered extra take out silverware and sauces for us. It definitely felt like a small family owned restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes from chicken pad Thai, panang curry, dumplings to chicken wings and papaya salad. We were a little bit disappointed on the taste and flavor as we are used to lots of spice and savory heartwarming flavors. The dishes tasted bland and did not have a lot of flavor. The flavors were not true to to the authentic flavors of our traditional Thai and Lao food...it tasted "Americanized". This place would truly thrive if they remained true to the full flavors of our custom and culture. Sadly this is not a spot we'll try again. I'm giving them 4 stars for their hospitality, friendliness and warmth of their customer service.
Just Thai is Just Awesome!!!! Authentic and delicious Thai cuisine located in east Deerfield Beach. Cute and cozy restaurant, it's small but worth the wait if you have one. We were lucky and got a seat right away even though they were almost full. Ample parking in the back. Now to the service and food- where does one start? The staff were friendly and very attentive making you feel welcomed from the start. Many menu items very typical Thai selection but not typical is delivery and taste! We started with a soup - Tom Kha Gai. I love Tom Yum soup but this was very different and very tasty. It was coconut and lime base with mushrooms and chicken. For our main - we had Panang Curry with shrimp. It was amazing and the shrimp was big, plump and cooked perfectly. We also had shrimp Pad Thai which was so good! We are definitely going back to try more items on the menu. The prices are great and we had a bottle of wine which to our surprise was not over the top!!! Most places would have the bottle we got for $29 .... Closer to $40. If you like Thai you must go try them and support small businesses like Just Thai. Thank you for a great dinner, we'll be back soon
What a cute little authentic Thai restaurant. I ordered the garlic chicken and my daughter ordered the garlic tofu. The restaurant was packed with people picking up orders and people waiting to be seated. I can tell that this is a local favorite. I was so hungry that by the time the food came, I ate it all without taking a picture. That's ok because I'll be back to try a different dish and next time I'll upload food pictures! Thank you to our server, she was personable and sweet. They have low music playing in the restaurant and free parking in the back of the restaurant.
This is a hidden little gem. I enjoyed my time here. It's a little cozy spot with a friendly staff and good Thai food at a fair price. I enjoyed everything I tried. We started with the Son in Law Eggs, fried hard boiled eggs. That was different and good. The sauce was great. I wanted more. I then had the Kha Pow Moo Krob and I liked it. The crispy pork belly was delish, and the sauce was very good. Now I wondered if I could have gotten a little more for the rice. It had so much flavor. The Mango Sticky Rice was good. The rice was not as sweet as I would have liked. It was a good dessert. The restaurant is in a plaza with parking all around. It is a building not attached to the strip mall. The entrance is towards the back. The restaurant has a big sign that can be seen from the street. I enjoyed my time here.
Let me first say, it does not get better than this. Thai food is my favorite type of food to eat and I eat it a lot. I have tried many different Thai restaurants all over and this is honestly the most authentic, in my opinion. La Na is a specific dish I have found only up north and in very rare occasions down here. Well I walked into Just Thai and couldn't believe that they had it on the menu. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls to start and there are 2 cut in half and were so fresh and crispy, best I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Thai Basil with fried tofu and I can't express how delicious it was. The flavor was so rich and the bamboo shoots with other veggies were just as great. I had the La Na with beef and unfortunately they had just run out of the thin wide noodles so I substituted them for the pad Thai noodles and my dish was incredible. I took a look at their lunch menu and you can't beat it. Soup or salad with a spring roll and your main dish? the service is great and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The menu looks outrageously good and I cannot to talking about how good my food and experience was. Cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu!
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the authentic, flavorful food, friendly, attentive service, and cozy, charming atmosphere.

Nice, cozy, comforting place to dine in. Food is excellent with authentic Bangkok style street food style. Flavors are subtle and not too overpowering with a nice kick of spice. Service is friendly, owners are very knowledgeable of Thai culture and cuisine. Would recommend! read more

"Just Thai," 1098 East Hillsboro Blvd in Deerfield Beach (formerly China Gourmet) is the next chapter in the About Bangkok/Bow Thai/Thai Garden legacy from Coral Springs. You want to go. Immediately. We only ordered three things (Som Thum Corn/Pineapple/Tomato/Green Bean/Crab, SPICY), Moo Yang, and Rad Na Seafood, but what we had was excellent. I snapped a few pics of other things as welll. We will be back. Soon! read more

My new favorite dish, pork crab and noodles with a Thai crepe cake makes my day every time. I would eat here every day if they were open 7 days a week because service food and a comfortable place to eat makes for a dinner worth bragging about. read more

I am always very hesitant to try Thai restaurants since I've been going to same one since 4th grade (I'm 39 now) and nothing ever compares in my opinion. Just Thai has finally broken that for me. I would highly recommend anyone to try it, especially if you're on the edge of deciding to try it. We had Pad Thai with Fried Tofu which was great and noodles were cooked great with amazing flavor. We also had the Chicken Panang which had great flavor. We got 2 stars on both which had great flavor and a nice small kick but next time I'd order a 3 star and work my way up from there. Also the portions were plenty for us and the staff my very welcoming and attentive. read more

First, this place is small and difficult to find as you essentially pass it immediately after entering the lot. Being married to a Thai, we typically are disappointed in most Thai restaurants we dine at. We had the Hoi Tod (Sunday Special), Isaan Sausage, Yen Ta Fo, Grilled Duck w/Holy Basil and homemade Coconut Ice Cream. My wife loved all of it and couldn't believe how delicious everything was. Highly recommended!!! read more

Let me tell you guys the street food here is a must! The taste of authentic Thai food. They also have HOI TOD which is Thai crispy pancake it's so rare to find a Thai restaurant to do it but they have it here and it was really delicious. So if you visit don't forget to order coconut ice cream (it's homemade). You'll not regret it. read more

What a nice addition to the Cove restaurant scene! I stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious. I started with steamed chicken dumplings. I could smell the garlic topping being freshly made from across the restaurant. They have my favorite dish Kai Soi- a flavorful soup like dish made with rice noodles and coconut curry sauce with two huge chicken legs. Service was friendly and efficient. The interior is such an improvement over the former China Gourmet. Can't wait to return! read more
