We were vacationing and found this cute Thai restaurant, which happened to be very close to the Airbnb we were staying. When we arrived, we realized the restaurant was quite small and there were maybe only 10 small tables. The establishment was clean, had traditional authentic decor displaying the Thai and Lao cultures and it was really cute. We ended up doing a take out order instead of dining in. My family is Laotian and the hostess was also Laotian so it was easy for us to communicate and talk about the items on the menu. We had several orders as we had a family of 9 with us. She was so patient and very accommodating. The service was really friendly and understanding. While we waited they offered us ice water and made us feel comfortable and relaxed, even though it was a long wait. They offered extra take out silverware and sauces for us. It definitely felt like a small family owned restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes from chicken pad Thai, panang curry, dumplings to chicken wings and papaya salad. We were a little bit disappointed on the taste and flavor as we are used to lots of spice and savory heartwarming flavors. The dishes tasted bland and did not have a lot of flavor. The flavors were not true to to the authentic flavors of our traditional Thai and Lao food...it tasted "Americanized". This place would truly thrive if they remained true to the full flavors of our custom and culture. Sadly this is not a spot we'll try again. I'm giving them 4 stars for their hospitality, friendliness and warmth of their customer service.

Came here for dinner. Nice small restaurant. Typical Thai menu. Prices within range. Ordered wonton soup and a nice side salad. Dinner was shrimp fried rice and pan soon noodles with chicken. All the food came out very good and service was also excellent. Will be back.

We were heading over to Charm City for a quick dinner when we noticed a new Thai restaurant on Hillsboro Blvd. Since we're fans of Thai food, we decided to check it out. Parking is easy--just head around the back and you'll find plenty of space in the Publix lot. At 8:30 PM, the restaurant was full. We were told there'd be a 15-20 minute wait, and with the amazing aroma coming from the kitchen, we decided to stay. The space is small, about 10 tables, with a calming, zen-like atmosphere. It feels welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We started with the Tom Yum Goong soup--a light, flavorful broth with tomato, lime, lemongrass, mushrooms, and shrimp. It was good, though we wished it had a little more heat. Next was the Red Curry Chicken with bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and zucchini in a coconut milk base. The curry was smooth and comforting, but again, could've used a touch more spice to bring out the flavors. We also tried the Thai Basil with added squid. The squid was tender and well-prepared, but the basil sauce was on the milder side and could have used a bit more punch. One thing to note: if you're used to asking for less spice at Thai restaurants, you might want to do the opposite here. The flavors are subtle, so ask for more heat if that's your preference. Overall, the food was a little on the bland side, but it definitely has potential. We'll likely be back to give it another try--especially if they dial up the spice.

What a cute little authentic Thai restaurant. I ordered the garlic chicken and my daughter ordered the garlic tofu. The restaurant was packed with people picking up orders and people waiting to be seated. I can tell that this is a local favorite. I was so hungry that by the time the food came, I ate it all without taking a picture. That's ok because I'll be back to try a different dish and next time I'll upload food pictures! Thank you to our server, she was personable and sweet. They have low music playing in the restaurant and free parking in the back of the restaurant.

Just Thai is Just Awesome!!!! Authentic and delicious Thai cuisine located in east Deerfield Beach. Cute and cozy restaurant, it's small but worth the wait if you have one. We were lucky and got a seat right away even though they were almost full. Ample parking in the back. Now to the service and food- where does one start? The staff were friendly and very attentive making you feel welcomed from the start. Many menu items very typical Thai selection but not typical is delivery and taste! We started with a soup - Tom Kha Gai. I love Tom Yum soup but this was very different and very tasty. It was coconut and lime base with mushrooms and chicken. For our main - we had Panang Curry with shrimp. It was amazing and the shrimp was big, plump and cooked perfectly. We also had shrimp Pad Thai which was so good! We are definitely going back to try more items on the menu. The prices are great and we had a bottle of wine which to our surprise was not over the top!!! Most places would have the bottle we got for $29 .... Closer to $40. If you like Thai you must go try them and support small businesses like Just Thai. Thank you for a great dinner, we'll be back soon

They've been open now 9 months and going strong. There are not many tables, but the wait is worth it. The decor is lovely and cozy. They have a loyal base of customers including us. Annie is so sweet, and all the staff are so kind to their customers. If there were a pad se ew contest in S Florida, they'd win. Last night, we noticed people coming in just for dessert in the later hours. The mango rice is delicious. So is the cool coconut milk with water chestnuts and jackfruit. Last night, we had the grilled squid that was presented so beautifully. Grilled with a nice char and cut so perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful. I believe the sauce was sweet chili. It wasn't spicy and came with rice. Be sure to check out the specials board as this was one of them. If you're a calamari fan like me, get fried tentacles when on the specials list. They're the best! We now come here every few weeks. It's just that good.

Let me first say, it does not get better than this. Thai food is my favorite type of food to eat and I eat it a lot. I have tried many different Thai restaurants all over and this is honestly the most authentic, in my opinion. La Na is a specific dish I have found only up north and in very rare occasions down here. Well I walked into Just Thai and couldn't believe that they had it on the menu. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls to start and there are 2 cut in half and were so fresh and crispy, best I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Thai Basil with fried tofu and I can't express how delicious it was. The flavor was so rich and the bamboo shoots with other veggies were just as great. I had the La Na with beef and unfortunately they had just run out of the thin wide noodles so I substituted them for the pad Thai noodles and my dish was incredible. I took a look at their lunch menu and you can't beat it. Soup or salad with a spring roll and your main dish? the service is great and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The menu looks outrageously good and I cannot to talking about how good my food and experience was. Cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu!

This is a hidden little gem. I enjoyed my time here. It's a little cozy spot with a friendly staff and good Thai food at a fair price. I enjoyed everything I tried. We started with the Son in Law Eggs, fried hard boiled eggs. That was different and good. The sauce was great. I wanted more. I then had the Kha Pow Moo Krob and I liked it. The crispy pork belly was delish, and the sauce was very good. Now I wondered if I could have gotten a little more for the rice. It had so much flavor. The Mango Sticky Rice was good. The rice was not as sweet as I would have liked. It was a good dessert. The restaurant is in a plaza with parking all around. It is a building not attached to the strip mall. The entrance is towards the back. The restaurant has a big sign that can be seen from the street. I enjoyed my time here.

We stopped by here for lunch about a week ago. I'd read there was a new Thai restaurant that had taken over the location of a Chinese restaurant that used to be in this spot fronting Hillsboro Boulevard. We parked in the Publix shopping center and walked over to the restaurant. We tried the front and side doors, only to discover that the entrance is now in the back of the restaurant. There was no one else dining in when we entered. We seated ourselves in a booth and looked over the menu. There was a section for their lunch menu with 9 different options. I chose their ginger fish after asking what type of fish it was and being told that it was snapper that day. The lunches came with soup of the day or salad and a veggie spring roll.. The salad was okay. A small bowl of lettuce with a couple cukes, a tomato, and carrot pieces with some ginger dressing. The small portion of fish came with a lot of onions and some green peppers with ginger slivers. There was some white rice and a deep-fried spring roll, as well. The fish was a bit bland. My husband wanted shrimp tom kha soup, but they only had chicken so that's what he got. He said it lacked pizzazz and definitely needed a bit more spice. It was served in a shallow bowl. Along with his soup, he ordered a house salad. It was a large version of the one I had with my lunch and also came with ginger dressing. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

Just Thai is located on Hillsboro Blvd., just West of the Chase Bank. The Hillsboro side is locked and entry is on the backside where a small parking lot is located. The inside is Bright and cheerful with Thai decor and a welcome staff to greet you. Comfortable booths and tables and an open kitchen view. We were given menus and drink orders taken immediately. A large two-sided menu with Lunch specials listed. I chose a Tom Yum Kha (I wanted shrimp but was told they did not offer at this time) soup and a Large salad with ginger dressing. The salad was a generous serving with iceberg lettuce and tasty ginger dressing. The soup was served in a shallow bowl and was good but could use a little Thai pepper kick, (usually they ask me 1-5 or Thai hot - (they must have assumed "gringo" style). While enjoying our lunch a guy was quizzing one of the staff (never ordered - must have been some type of food reporter). He asked if they also served Sushi like other area Thai restaurants locally, to which the appropriate response was, "No, Just Thai"!

Popular Thai restaurant with very good food great service (Loot was great) and a clean pleasant environment. We arrived early on valentine's Day, to beat the other diners and were rewarded with an excellent experience. Chicken satay was very good, but I would have appreciated more traditional peanut sauce. Ask. Pad Thai and Ba-Mee Mo Dang were excellent. Brought some home. Highly recommend. read more

Just stop by because I had car service and have to wait for 2 hours , so I decided to look around what new in the area so I found just Thai. The ambience very cozy and welcome. The owner greeting me right away , the staff very attentive and I ordered everything thru their recommendation. Oh my god , food is amazing and I eat by myself . And ending with coconut ice cream which is good . They just open the restaurant a month ago. So you won't be disappointed read more

Went here for the first time last week. It's a very different menu than a typical Thai restaurant in the US. We enjoyed everything we ate, except for the ceviche. The shrimp was a bit undercooked. Everything else was delicious. We definitely will go back. read more

First, this place is small and difficult to find as you essentially pass it immediately after entering the lot. Being married to a Thai, we typically are disappointed in most Thai restaurants we dine at. We had the Hoi Tod (Sunday Special), Isaan Sausage, Yen Ta Fo, Grilled Duck w/Holy Basil and homemade Coconut Ice Cream. My wife loved all of it and couldn't believe how delicious everything was. This is screaming THAILAND!!! The decors are really feel so cozy and always welcome vibes they're so friendly and super nice. I came here a lot and we tried almost everything on the menu. Let me tell you guys the street food here is a must! The taste of authentic Thai food. They also have HOI TOD which is Thai crispy pancake it's so rare to find a Thai restaurant to do it but they have it here and it was really delicious. So if you visit don't forget to order coconut ice cream (it's homemade). You'll not regret it. read more

AVOID! There's never any parking so you have to park in the Publix parking lot and who knows, they might tow you! The chicken soup was terrible, meat hard, no taste and like warm. I sent it back to heat up but it was still lousy. At meal's end they'll offer you dessert but no menu so you don't know the price. "Lauren," their main server, tells you her "fav" and you order it then it comes & it looks great until you taste it, it almost INEDIBLE! And then the bill comes and they've charged you $13.50 for that horrible "dessert" which with tax and tip is more like $16!! NEVER AGAIN! AVOID!! read more

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant ever! I live in Atlanta but anytime I visit here, this is my go to spot. The son in law eggs, green curry, Pad Kee Mao, I could have endlessly. So yummy! The owners are so sweet and kind. They treat their guests as family. Their love and dedication to making delicious Thai food certainly shows. We love going here. Ambience is also so good!! read more

My wife and I sent in a door dash order for Chicken Pad Thai, Pork Pad Thai, edemane, and pineapple rice with shrimp. The food arrived hot and fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious. The vast majority of the reviews of this restaurant are 5 stars, and it's easy to see why. I'm looking forward to ordering food from Just Thai again. Highly recommended read more

2nd time trying Just Thai, both times we ordered to go and it still was really good. We have tried different things both visits and all of it was delicious. Ka Nar Moo Krob, Krab Rangoons, Pad Thai, Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice, Thai Wings, Ba-Mee Moo Dang, Pad Kee Mow, Spicy Basil Fried Rice. If you are use to having spicy Thai food, this isn't spicy so you just make sure to ask for it to be spicy. read more

What a nice addition to the Cove restaurant scene! I stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious. I started with steamed chicken dumplings. I could smell the garlic topping being freshly made from across the restaurant. They have my favorite dish Kai Soi- a flavorful soup like dish made with rice noodles and coconut curry sauce with two huge chicken legs. Service was friendly and efficient. The interior is such an improvement over the former China Gourmet. Can't wait to return! read more

The food was amazing !! We love Thai and haven't found anything authentic nearby. This restaurant was great. It's a small place and the staff is very nice. Our waitress was so nice to the kids and attentive. We had the Tom Kha Gai soup, my daughter loved it and the Masamam curry with beef--sauce was delicious and so was the beef. We had Thai donuts for dessert. All around great. read more

The most authentic Thai by far. Atmosphere, welcoming and service are top tier. Absolutely best Thai food in town!! ..Testy and price-worthy portion. They use real Thai basils in Pad Ka Paw, Chinese broccoli in Pad See Ew hardly find in other Thai restaurants. Must try street food dishes and ask for special of the day!!! read more

Popped in to Just Thai for dinner tonight and left very happy. Had the Mee Krob and veggie eggrolls for appetizers, which were both outstanding. One of us had Panang with chicken and the other had the Red curry. Both were outstanding. Portions were great, price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Lauren, our hostess, was super friendly and the owner came out from the kitchen to check on our food satisfaction personally. Very nice ambience, nice atmosphere and music. I looked over the reviews and decided to take a chance. There was a little wait for a table since the restaurant is a bit small but everyone was super friendly and nice. I'd been to the restaurant when it was a Chinese restaurant- and the difference in decor and atmosphere was a pleasant surprise. We got the best Thai iced coffee while we waited and once we were seated the smells coming out of the kitchen were amazing!!! I tried the street food (SF4) soup and they were probably the best I've eaten. Flavorful and absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have is that they didn't have mango sticky rice or banana tempura for desert - they did have coconut ice cream and it was scrumptious!!! Can't wait to go back! read more

Once inside the restaurant I was greeted by a friendly server whom was standing behind a replica of an adorable TATA Bus' front grill. i was immediately ushered to a beautiful booth with a hand carved wooden table. The seats and seat backs were wrapped in an imported material from Thailand. The owner was on hand to greet us with her gracious smile and conversation. The servers were attentive and quick to take our drink and food order while keeping our glasses constantly full. The decor and soft lighting is reminiscent of yesterday's quiet and romantic places where one can have a relaxing meal. The surrounding decor allows one to imagine they're in a fine restaurant in Bangkok. The food came out in a timely manner, beautifully presented, tasted fresh and wonderfully seasoned. It's certainly should be a stop for anyone wanting to eat in a stress free environment and enjoy authentic Thai food. read more

We have driven from Parkland 4 or 5 times already since Annie opened Just Thai! The only thing I can say is the people living in Deerfield Beach are lucky to have Just Thai close to home! Had a taste for some Asian food but wanted to go somewhere that had comfy, cozy seating space so came here. I tried the crab ragoon, wonton soup, and chicken pad Thai. The crab ragoon great... an order came with 5. The wonton soup was eh not my fav.. but seemed to be a different style that I'm used to and did not come as hot (temp wise) as I'd like and the broth didn't have much flavor. Chicken pad Thai was a big entree portion. The waitress asked if I wanted spice and I usually order medium but when it came I couldn't taste any spice at all. I asked her for more spice and she brought me an entire tray of spice options which worked great so I could customize my level of spiciness. Staff was kind and they were quite busy at 6pm on a Sunday night. (I waited about 10ish min for a table for 1). My bill came to $33 for all that food and a can of Diet Coke which i didn't think was bad. Overall, id visit again. read more

I love Thai food recently relocated from Long Island NY where I know authentic Thai cuisine. I was excited when we got in fast ( we got there right after opening on a Friday ) we ordered Shrimp dumplings for an appetizer they were delicious but Luke warm . Then I had the Shrimp Pad Thai which again delicious but Luke warm - decent portion sizes . My fiancé had Thai basil chicken again not hot like I'm used to . This tiny place filled up very quickly - the staff was kind attentive ! The prices were reasonable . However besides the food being just warm I was very disappointed when I asked for dresser to have mango with sticky rice & they said their mango's weren't ready ! This was upsetting they're located across from a Publix & this was a Friday . How could you not have a bunch of mangos fresh to go - super shocked ! No excuses I will definitely go back & give them a second chance . The restaurant is tiny seating fills up quickly so j would call ahead make a reservation ! read more

What a cute restaurant. My daughter and I went there for lunch. We were seated right away and the waitress came right away to get our drink order. Everything we had was super tasty. I especially loved the rice soup. Never had it before and theirs was great! Great service, price, and atmosphere. Definitely recommend! read more

Had to rush to this 'new' Thai place as was always a big fan of Annie and Sam food when owned About Bangkok. This time around they ditched the sushi bar and focused on what they best at - Just Thai! The ambiance is perfect and brings you to a quaint Thailand cafe. Had several dishes including Moo Ping, Thai Wings, Peanut Salad, Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Tornado Chicken. All perfectly spiced to our specifications and everything so fresh and presented beautifully. Unfortunately we were so full didn't look at the dessert menu which I now realize has crepe cake...next time! And as always their service is top tier. Both Amber and Lauren are amazing servers and attentive to every need! Run to this amazing spot as they will be very busy soon and tables will be hard to come by! read more
