Ham & Cheese Salad Platter Ham & Cheese Salad Platter 1 Liter Water Lemon Tea Snapple

Please see pictures. I ordered a salad iced tea and water. The salad container was not bagged, taped or secured in any way. It was placed in a used produce box, along with the three bottles. Apparently the bottles must have rolled in transit, breaking the container and pouring the salad all over the box. Very unsanitary and I thought vendors were supposed to ensure items are not tampered with because other stores even tape the bags shut. Now I have no meal, garbage to through out and a nice produce box that I will need to cut down and take out for recycling. Very unhygienic, very concerning and very unprofessional. And I paid $25 for this privilege!!!!!

The minute I walked in I got that amazing smell of an old Italian deli it took me back. I was immediately helped by four very enthusiastic servers.Jake,Nick,Jackson, and Evan. The first time I came here I ordered their Roast Beef and Provolone Cheese Sub with lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, oregano, and black pepper . It was delicious. My bf ordered their Italian Sub. This place doesn't skimp on meat. All the meats are cut to order, then your sub is finished with toppings by another server. I ordered a half of a sub and it was big. At first I thought it was a whole sub. I really enjoyed it and went back the next day for another sub. This time I tried their Tuna Sub and it was loaded with fresh tuna. I got lettuce, tomatoes, and oil, vinegar, oregano and black pepper. It was also very good. Along with my subs I got their homemade macaroni and potato salad. They were both very good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a delicious sub at reasonable prices. There's plenty of free parking.

    Chicken salad sub! Super filling!

This spot is our go to sub location. The sandwiches are typically loaded with ingredients and they are very filling. We usually order the chicken salad sub and the roast beef sub. The ingredients in both sandwiches are always fresh. Usually, I am not a fan of subs, but I am always down for a sub from here!

Every small town in New Jersey has your friendly neighborhood sub shop. Subway, Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, these guys don't cut it. Just Subs, however? A must-try! This place is clean and no frills. You know what you're getting every single time and they have a set system for ordering (meat, cheese and bread in one area, all toppings in another). Price point is VERY affordable. Deli meat and cheese is Dietz and Watson (personally, I'm a Boar's Head girl, but no matter) and portions are HUGE. I got a half and was stunned to see how much food it actually was. As for the food itself, it's your classic mom & pop sub; good balance of meat and cheese without it feeling slimy or overprocessed, with bread that's the right combination of chewy and soft and toppings that provide an extra oomph. A must-go if you're looking for a quick bite in the area.

My quarter of Reuben after the other quarter dripped Russian dressing on it. Don't look at me like that! I'mma eat you sammich!

We were welcomed in upon arrival, the food was prepared quick and delivered to our table. The ambiance is nothing fancy but the overall feel was comfortable. I love that the owners address each other as "sweetheart". They treat each other with love and that is what they put into the food. The chicken tenders are pretty big, the owners suggested 1-2 for my son and he was right. He ate 1 and it was more than enough for him. I had the mango platter. The mango was fresh, and the portion was just right. It was tasty and again all fresh. My husband got the shrimp tacos and the tacos were huge.

My wife got a cilantro burrito (not pictured) that she really enjoyed. I really liked the Mac and cheese. It tasted more like pasta with a homemade cream sauce than a traditional Mac and cheese but it was very good. The chicken tenders were huge and perfectly cooked. As you can see in the picture, really juicy. Only reason for 1 star off is that the breading could've used more seasoning. Ambiance: TLG is more of a casual spot with a few tables inside if you're grabbing a quick bite. Overall, good experience and will be back to try more!

So, this review will stand out as this place consistently gets great reviews, and if I were…read morereviewing prior to this past Saturday, I would have given a great review as all previous visits were very good. The reason for the about face is I have never been treated with such disrespect by management/ownership in my life! We had a 7:30 reservation, showed up a few minutes early, and checked in. The hostess told us we can wait by the outside bar, and she would come get us. 20 minutes later, she walked over by the area and went back to the desk. I walked over and checked to make sure she wasn't looking for us. She says no, looks inside and says she's still waiting for guests to leave. OK, I go back. It's now 8, my friend walks over and looks in and sees there are 2 open tables and suggests we walk over to the desk. We do and another hostess asks us after about 5 minutes if she can help, we state were waiting for our table, she looked inside and said OK, we have a table for you. So finally seated at around 8:10. We sit, server comes over in a few, tells us about the specials, sees we have our drinks from outside (the original drinks, more on that later) and says she will be back for our order. Bread (4 measly pieces) comes; she eventually comes back after taking an order from the table next to us who was seated after us and takes our order. Before she leaves my wife asks for more bread with our appetizers, to which she responds dismissively w/ attitude "I'll see what I can do".   My wife is mad; we are all angry as it's 8:45 and the only thing we have been served is bread & attitude. I went outside to find the owner (and his son) who had been out there helping the staff. I walk up and start the conversation stating, 1st off we really enjoy this place and have always had a good experience, but I wanted to share what was happening this evening, specifically w/ the server. I didn't yell, I wasn't belligerent, just voiced my/our displeasure. His response was a rambling about their special bread, why it's limited, blah blah blah. Totally missed the point which was how she responded. So, I respond by saying he obviously isn't concerned with the feedback as all he did was defend their bread position and that I was going back inside. I went back in. The owner and his son proceed to follow me in (confrontational much!) and the owner CONTINUES his bread rant. The son then asks me why I dared speak to his "80 yr old father?". Well, he is walking around like the mayor, I knew he was the owner, so I gave him my feedback. The rest is a bit fuzzy, but it's 8:20ish, no food, a confrontation with ownership and a terrible server. The son comes back and challenges me on our reservation time stating it was 7:45. As if that mattered. It WAS 7:30 and I asked him to come outside, and I'll show him the reservation. I go outside, food/wine shows up, there's yelling (not by us) and they ask us TO LEAVE! WTF! I ask what is going on, wife/friends get up and start getting ready to leave, then another 'henchmen' comes out of the back and starts mean mugging me as if he's ready to throw hands and has the nerve to say, "your inebriated". We had one drink the hour we were there, we couldn't get served enough to be drunk! The owner yelling "this is a family place", blah blah blah. They initiated the confrontation, and the only thing I can think of is I may have used an expletive when OUTSIDE with them (away from any other patrons), never yelled and never was belligerent. I'm 63 and never got kicked out of a bar let alone at a restaurant.  So, I doubt anyone reading this will stay away, but if you do go, especially on a weekend, don't expect good service, and DON'T DARE complain or give feedback. You have been warned!

I was a bit doubtful about what to expect from the place . Susan was managing the front of the house and welcomed us with a smile . Handed us the menu and told us we had to order at the counter . We had planned on a takeout but decided done in as it was not very crowded. We ordered a Falafel sandwich , Stuffed grape leaves and were very pleased with how good both were . The grape leaves with the rice was well seasoned and delightful . The sandwich was warm on a soft toasted pita which had good amount of tahina sauce , mixed greens tomatoes and falafels made from fava beans , which tasted quite different from the typical chickpea falafel . Given the food was on a high note we had to try their desserts . We picked up 2 different Baklavas to go . Pistachio and Walnut tahina . My O My , it was a juicy, lip smacking sweet treat .
