I've genuinely never felt more comfortable, accommodated, at peace, or at home until I stepped into this establishment. I want to personally thank each and every employee here for their excellent service. I just witnessed a mobile pickup and it went so smoothly. The employee carefully and gently places the order on the mobile order shelves with the tag perfectly facing the front. The woman picked up her order with no confusion or any issues. I could go on and on about the comfort and peace that this place brings me. Do yourself a favor and stop by your closest Poke Sushi. They embody everything I would want in an establishment and more.

My husband and I ate dinner from here one time. We placed our order through a touchscreen kiosk, and we waited about 25 minutes for our foods to be prepared. An employee told us that a particular chicken topper for our dog's pup cup was out of stock, so we ordered a substitute. We ate our foods at home. I ate the Hawaiian Bowl (with ahi tuna and many vegetables and fruits, 4 stars) and a Mango-pineapple Smoothie (4.5 stars). My husband ate a custom bowl (with ahi tuna, crab meat, and more; he called it "like mush," 3 stars) and a canned soda. My dog ate a Pup Bowl (with custom brown rice, sweet potato, and packets of Weruva chicken and a vegetable-fruit mix, 5 stars). The total price was $44.

BUT - it was worth the effort! I built my own bowl with brown rice (perfectly cooked), spicy salmon, green onion, carrot, edamame, avocado, sesame seeds, spicy mayo & shoyu. YUM! It wasn't much to look at -- not perfectly arranged like a lot of poke places - but it was super flavorful. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. One tip --- if you order online, you might get (like I did) a wait time estimate of 1/2 hour or so, but check your food early! Mine was ready in 15mins, but I didn't get an update text to tell me it was ready. My bowl was bagged and ready when I got there.

I ordered the build-your-own bowl, which came out to around $13. For the base, I did half sushi rice and half organic spring mix. I added two scoops of protein: tofu and chicken. For mix-ins, I chose cucumber, carrots, and wakame seaweed, then topped it with ponzu sauce, pineapple, edamame, and shredded nori for crunch. Overall, the bowl was definitely filling and felt like a good value for lunch. I did expect the chicken to be warm, but it was served cold, and the tofu was uncooked, so the proteins were a little disappointing and bland on their own. Mixing everything together helped a lot, especially to distribute the sweet and tangy sauce throughout the bowl. I would return, but I'd probably make some adjustments to my bowl choices next time.

This certainly didn't disappoint! I really missed the personal service that usually comes with sushi/poke --- but at Skai, they have 2 tablets by the front door where you place your order -- hello, fast casual. I got a seaweed salad and salmon poke. The salad came out practically before I sat down at one of the handful of tables in the place. The salad was dressed with a really flavorful dressing - and slices of crunchy cucumber were a nice touch. Yum! The salmon poke was super tasty --- smaller (than I've ever had) cubes of silky salmon over sushi rice with flavorful, satisfyingly crunchy osinko, aka- pickled veggies (not at all vinegar!!) - the daikon quite good, red cabbage, crisp cucumber. Cubes of ripe avocado, a small handful of edamame, and a bit of seaweed salad all come together nicely. I usually use a Japanese mayo or tobiko mayo w/ a bit of soy --- but no mayo on offer, I decided to go with just the soy that was on the table. Quite good! Can't wait to try this place again --- next time: sushi!
