I'm not a mechanic. I don't love to work on cars. But I figured I could do better than $300-500 to…read moreput in a new rear view mirror in my wife's car. That's what the dealer quoted me. So I called Magic and they said bring your old mirror and we will find something to match it. A couple of days playing phone tag and then they made good. I stuck the new mirror on in the parking lot and drove away for $20. You might have to call a couple times and get a used part rather than a brand new OEM but it works great and think of the money I saved!

Like all the other reviews he is a scammer, shyster and by the look of his work he can't fix cars . I brought him a virgin World Class T5 transmission that had 70,000 miles on it and wanted the input shaft to be changed to the fox body input shaft and he charged me a $1000.00. When I got the transmission back it was making a whining noise and Jeff said it was normal. I only put 2500 miles on the transmission and it was leaking fluid and the noise was louder and I brought the transmission back and it was out of warranty. He charged me another $180.00 to repair it and it was still whining. I brought the transmission back for the 3rd time Jeff kept saying it was going to be ready and always had some excuse that it wasn't done . He had the transmission for 4 1/2 months and I picked it up because Jeff couldn't fix it and it was all apart and the bolt holes in the case were stripped out and now it's junk . His shop looks more like a junkyard than a auto repair shop and was running it off a generator for last 4 months because there is no electricity there. I don't how this guy stays in business.

We brought our 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe to this shop to have three tires installed and the vehicle inspected. After the work was completed, my boyfriend immediately noticed a loud noise coming from the wheel area and told the mechanic he was worried the wheel might fall off. The mechanic assured him twice that the car was completely safe to drive and that we had nothing to worry about. Shortly after leaving the shop, the driver-side wheel actually detached while the vehicle was in motion, creating an extremely dangerous situation and causing an accident. We then had the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic, who confirmed that the issue was caused by improperly installed lug nuts (either over-tightened or loose). When we returned to the shop after the accident, an employee admitted that under normal safety procedures they would never allow a customer to leave without signing a document stating the vehicle was unsafe to drive. This directly contradicted what we were told when the car was released to us. Because of this negligence we incurred significant expenses including: * repair costs * towing three times * rental car costs * increased insurance premiums * and nine months without reliable use of our vehicle, forcing us to rely on rideshare transportation. We attempted to resolve this matter directly with the company and sent a formal demand letter, but have received no response. This situation was extremely stressful and dangerous, and it could have been much worse if the wheel had detached on a highway or caused a more serious accident. I hope the company takes safety procedures more seriously in the future so no one else experiences something like this.

Found a used sway bar and bracket and replaced all the worm bushings. Of course this took time and some very skilled people to do this properly. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable on most car issues, however, to me a transmission is just a big black box of unknowns so finding someone who is both honest and knowledgeable was a big concern. After shopping around I picked Trico and I am very glad I did. I found Steve and Bob both to be very helpful by giving me pricing on several options. I picked having Bob rebuild my existing transmission in-house and he did a great job in less than a week. After 600 miles, Bob has you come back in for a check-up which to my surprise was free. Each time I dealt with either Steve or Bob I felt like they were looking out for me and not trying to sell me something I did not need. I highly recommend Trico!

They kept the car for over four weeks and could not diagnose three out of three problems I was having. I finally picked it up, and my neighbor referred me to René at action imports. I made an appointment with Rene and dropped off the car on a Monday morning at 8:30 AM... Within two hours he had called me and diagnosed all three problems with an exact estimate. I was traveling on Business and he agreed to keep the car for the entire five days until I returned. I picked up the car and everything was fixed. I was very happy. It's a 24-year-old BMW so of course, it always needs a wrench, turned or two :-) I dropped it off again this morning with René and I've already had the exact same experience. I highly recommend René and action imports for all of your import car repairs and needs. Don't be fooled with fancy European repair shops downtown. that charge you an arm and a leg and really don't give a damn if you return. Stick with the local job! Action imports!

They do have lower labor cost then dealerships, with the same certifications. A lot of people think just because it's not a big fancy building and it doesn't look that nice, that does not mean that they do any less than a big fancy place would do. I've seen every type of car being worked on at Tommy's Auto. And if by chance there's still something going on with your car they will investigated further. I definitely would recommend Tommy's Auto. I personally have never had a bad experience. I also have learned that if you treat people who are doing a service for you then there shouldn't be any problems.

NEXT DAY I call again to get status at 10am same BS, 1pm, I again call for status their response was your car is next; we will call you when it's ready. Finelly 3:3 pm I get a call; your call is ready. It took 27 hours to fix a radiator. Bad business no calls from Tommy's Radiator, the customer service is bad really bad. They need to work on their TONE OF VOICE when they answer the phone! Rude unconcern Ing attitudes.
