The staff I always work with says they will have a look and get back to me. They call a few hours later telling me that my engine has knocking and it's totaled. It will cost $10,000 to repair and my car isn't even worth that amount and immediately asks me if I want to scrap my car, where's my title? Is it a paper or digital? There was no discussion about fixing it or anything else about what happened to it. Mind you, 3 months earlier i had spent around $2500 with this garage on fixing things on my car. Now this?! I'm devastated. I had just taken a loan out on this car and the bank officially owned it so I call my bank and let them know the situation. The banks car repo guy calls me back and asks, how well do I know this garage? I thought well. He tells me to take it somewhere else and get a 2nd opinion. Thank god for the bank repo guy because now my car is fixed and I didn't have to buy a new engine. I feel like I was being pressured to let go of my car so they could scrap it for parts. This is incredibly unethical and shocking to have had what I thought was a great relationship for so many years. This is not the first time the same mechanic stopped working to help me. The first time he stopped working on another auto to put an air filter in. The screw to open the filter was extremely difficult to screw off. He was determined to get the screw off with a lot of effort. One week ago my wife got 2 new tires they said after calling them 2days prior to bring the car in…read morebetween 8am&9am we got there around 9am& she said we had a 8am appt o.k. so at 3:30 we called to see if they were done yet & they said they just got the tires & it would be another hour o.k. then at 4:45 got a call to pick it up$550 later my wife brings it back because tire pressure light was blinking they told her it would turn off after she drove it so after driving it to work & back the day light was still on so I bring it back he said he would fix it no charge so they tell me the tire sensor battery was bad & needed to be replaced at my cost so they told me they put the old sensors back on my new tires so its my dime o.k. they also gave me a list of things that needed to be repaired like shocks & struts ECT! not anything about tire sensors(scam) so why would anybody in their right mind think you would have them fix anything else if they cant even do tires right never ever going back there again!!!
