Clearly your ego is inflated from all the other clients you have. What works for them may not work for everyone. You should be ashamed of responding to an honest review as if you're being attacked like a child. First of all why would anyone be jealous? Comical actually. What does jealousy have to do with providing an underwhelming service. I purchased this service as a gift and am a more than capable of conveying the message for my partner. We assumed based on other reviews you would be a good fit. I have the free will to express that you indeed were not a good fit. Clearly by your attitude you have some inner work you need to focus on. Sometimes experience doesn't necessarily mean quality. Yes you have knowledge, skills even, but maybe they are outdated. Maybe you should ask how strong of a massage someone wants. Especially if someone is physically active they may require a stronger more firm massage. Maybe your body is tired and you try to get away with doing the bare minimum. Whatever the case I suggest you clean up your cluttered office space, and adjust your attitude. Consider me your karma. I would give you zero stars if I could. This is not some random person. We have an actual receipt of purchase. Hope you have a the day you deserve.

He went to his doctor and then to a radiologist for x-rays, and although no major fracture was visible, it's likely that he has a micro-fracture that is not easily detectable on x-rays. According to my husband, the male masseuse who was assigned to him seemed very inexperienced, and when my husband actually screamed in pain, the masseuse just left the room and didn't return. He has a high tolerance for pain and has broken bones before, but this pain has been persistent and has impacted his daily activities. I would definitely never recommend this place to anyone and wish we had paid attention to the negative reviews beforehand.

My father orginally had been looking for someone to help him with his achilles tendon since it was really killing him, he walked into many places in flushing and they told him the could not help him. He continues to use her especially having her right in Maspeth makes it very convenient. I went to Erica 2 years ago, I have Psoriatic Arthritis and am a fitness Instructor & swim coach and tend to get very tight in my low back, I tend to crack alot and feel so tight I sometimes have trouble getting up. I have trouble feeling massages, but Erica truly knows her trigger points and she gets areas thay you did not even know were tight. I normaly do not go back to the same masseuse twice since it is usually for the now and I domt particularly feel it but once she gets an idea od your muscles it is like she knows how hard/soft your body needs it. I have continued to go back and I always feel better after. Whether you are looking for someone to help you with back aches, headaches, or even if you just want to feel more energy Erica can help you. She has used hot stones, cupping, and has even provided chinese herbal creams to help relieve the pain naturally. An hour massage will cost you $45. Dont forget to show your love with a $$$ tip, she is seriously worth it. EDIT: they create FAKE REVIEWS to combat real reviews that are negative & related to INFECTIONS…read moredeveloped! (scroll for info at the end of my original review.) ------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yeahhhh.. this place isn't it lol. For context I'm 25F, just moved into the area. This happened a few weeks ago but it just popped into my head recently. Hole in the wall massage/spa places are so hit or miss. Honestly I accidentally booked through them for a 60min back massage thinking it was another place that I actually liked that is also in ridgewood (it was "Mosa Spa"; you can book on their website so you know exactly what you're paying for before hand.) During the massage the woman asked me multiple times if I wanted soft or heavier pressure, and each time I said soft very loud and clear, since my head was face down for the massage. Fast forward to the middle of the massage and she's standing on my back. Like actually standing. And it wasn't brief. I know this is something people do in general, like at home, but it seemed extremely unprofessional since she didn't ask first before doing it, and I had already said "soft pressure" not "please put your whole body weight on me in one place." I also know that 60min massages usually involve flipping around to have the front part (arms, legs, head) massaged about halfway through. She must have mistimed and I flipped over and then 10 minutes later her timer went off and the massage promptly ended. When I was filling out the receipt for the tip, the man at the counter pointed at the dotted line and said "Tip." (not as question. also extremely rich considering the quality of the experience.) I never write reviews because I am so lazy; I guess this is where my laziness gets me so I can't complain (too much) - but I can warn: If you have a small budget for pampering yourself, either go to another massage place like Mosa with similar prices, or bite the bullet and splurge on an actual spa/bathhouse (NYC & brooklyn have plenty.) Or get a facial at the Glowbar locations for 30min under $100. Or get your nails done! I felt super disappointed because I don't have a lot of money for this kind of stuff, and blew it on a very uncomfortable experience. Good luck lol. -------------- Edit: I didn't look at the other reviews before visiting since I thought I was going somewhere else, but after I posted THIS review, i read someone else's who said they got a SKIN INFECTION twice?? And weirdly enough they posted a second 5 star review saying they loved it and to tip the masseuse $1 per hour (so like $30-60 extra) and that their "old review" was an assumption and they shouldn't have posted it. I clicked on the account of the second reviewer and they're two different people under the name Daniel I. First review about skin infection is real, the second 5 star review is fake and from the company. That's actually crazy.

Ling happily welcomed me into one of the rooms, the spa is very quiet. They're dimly lit for your comfort and I love it. They allow you enough time to get situated and knock before entering. Ling is very through with the cleaning which I especially appreciate. Using extraction tools, cream with massages and masks, you really get the works!!! There's also steam time which I enjoy as well. I am not in that market. I called ahead and was told to come right in. Was shown to a room, but asked to pay for my massage upfront (now know this is a tell) and the woman tried to walk away with my card. I followed her back to the front where she did mention the tip was not included but rang me up for $65 (let's assume "tax" as the posted price is $60). She then showed me to a different room farther back. She left the room, as in any massage setting. I left my boxers on as I always do on any massage table, both as a hedge against signaling any funny business, but also for my own comfort. Especially important here, as there was no blanket or towel on the bed; just a clean fitted sheet. I will say, the place is very clean! Face down on the table, I waited. The masseuse came in unannounced and insisted that I remove my boxers before finally removing them herself when I said no thank you twice. She also asked "Just massage?" a couple minutes in which i replied YES, firmly. She did respect that i said just a massage, and did not touch me anywhere that made me uncomfortable or try to "upsell" again. Note: they do offer waxing services, but i didn't get the vibe she was trying to sell a Brazilian. She spent the full hour fumbling through a massage of sorts, commenting on every tattoo on my body, asking me questions about my haircare routine and ethnic heritage -- about 55 minutes in, wrapped up abruptly. I offered a $20 bill as tip, but asked for $5 change (a generous 25% despite the bizarre experience) and she refused and said 1 hour is a mandatory $20. Take the $ -- i got out relatively unscathed. WHOLLY, a bizarre experience. I will return to my tried and true spots to get knots worked out go-forward.
