I paid almost $400.00 for a chimney inspection with video to be emailed to me so I had a record of it. The guys we got didn't seem very professional. They showed us pictures of the chimney liner, but never sent any to us. They never said anything about what we wanted. Only talking about rebuilding our entire fireplace into a propane burning showpiece that would provide minimal heating, but cost something around $30,000.00. I wouldn't trust these guys to clean a cat box, let alone trust them with protecting my home!

He went on to check every room in my house for openings and found none. The outside vent was secured with a metal mesh to catch any unwanted animals from entering. A little while back I got a knock on my door out of the blue and it was Al from Noce's Paving. He…read moresaid that his paving crew was in the area and they were about to finish up another job and had nothing scheduled for the afternoon and was wondering if I was interested in re-paving part or all of my driveway.....TODAY! Well despite my driveway having a lot of cracks with weeds growing out of them, I hadn't really seriously considered taking on the time and expense of a full re-paving as my driveway is about 270 feet long and has a small parking area that is about 1000 square feet. Plus, I didn't know him from Adam and it kind of sounded like a scam. However, I was intrigued by the thought of a nice and clean new driveway so I asked him if he could give me an estimate on the cost. He got out his measuring equipment and took some measurements and did some calculations and he gave me a figure for just the long, skinny part of my driveway which was in the worst shape. He said that the parking area was still OK but would need to be redone in the not too distant future and my back area was still in very good shape and didn't need any work. Well being that I'm no expert on whether it was a good price or a highly inflated price, I said I would think about it and get back to him on it before the end of the day as I wanted to make a few calls and compare prices. Al was as polite as can be and handed me his card and said that that would be great and that he would wait for my call. So I did just that, I called 3 or 4 other pavers and they worked me up some quotes for me and lo and behold, Al's price beat them all by a comfortable margin. So I figured, what the heck and called him back and told him that I was in. He said that they would be over in about 30 minutes and sure enough, an entire paving crew with trucks and machinery was there as promised and they started prepping my driveway. I then asked Al if he would work out a deal for me if I wanted to get the parking area re-paved too and a few minutes later he gave me another very fair price quote. Well, me being me, I made a counteroffer on the price and a few minutes later we shook hands on the deal which worked out even better per square foot than before. So after a few hours of work, my driveway was finished and looked incredible. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes on the curb appeal of my house. Not to mention how much easier it will be to clear the snow in the winter. My next-door neighbor came over while they were working and he was a bit incredulous about the whole knock on my door and offer to pave my driveway offer, but even he was impressed by how great it came out and said that he would like to re-pave his in the next year or two as well. So I have nothing by praise for Al & Noce's Paving. He was a straight shooter and didn't put any pressure on me to hire them. And then he gave me a very good price and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them. Once again, I thank Al and his crew for all their hard work! It's now been almost a year now and my driveway looks as beautiful as ever.

The pilot is on and shut off for safety reasons after about one week of non-use, but the remote that I paid for as well as the thermostat that I paid for don't work either! At this point, I've had a huge stove to heat my basement for two years now, and it only worked for the first two months. I have been leaving messages nearly monthly for the last two years and I'm so frustrated at the lack of response. When I do get a callback, dave the owner tells me to call some plumber that I did not use basically telling me that it's a plumbing issue but the plumbing is totally fine. There is a pilot in the stove and it works. I tell him specifically that I need his son, Chris's phone number, and he never replies. When is enough enough? (The link was sent to me weeks before, but I told the business owner at the conclusion of work that I had trouble accessing it). One day later, I was assessed a penalty of $100 and all the fees that was originally agreed was nullified. I reached out multiple times by e-mail, phone and text to try to settle my balance in a timely manner but did not get a response. Later, I received an invoice indicating that my account will be sent to collections, and I ultimately had to pay significantly more than the amount I originally had agreed upon. This experience was very stressful, and it cost me much more than any other business quoted me and would have ultimately charged me. Based on what I went through, I would not recommend this business.
